Pocket bike start

I guess the "drop on the tire"-method doesn't make much sence. Why should there be air bubbles? Where? That's an ordinary float-style carburetor, I think. Air bubbles can't form in this kind of carb, at least they will be harmless. That might be possible on diaphragm-style carbs, but i have never seen a bike like that with this kind of carb.

mixing the 2stroke oil with the gasoline in the fuel tank

when it sits still for a while, the 2 stroke oil will sink to the bottom, when you drop it a couple of time, you shake it all together

@sajeel25 no they only have one gear and if its a 2 stroke you have to mix petrol and oil if you have a 4 stroke engine (which is rare 4 a mini moto it only takes petrol but u need to put oil in the oil tank like a reall bike but smaller

@albertagento You're probably out of gas or something haha otherwise, the gas line has a knob, it will say reserve. turn it to on. that should fix it. If not, reply and i'll try to help you out more.

i got 2 Biata's, and trying to start them and the fuckin pull strings ripped right out, been having problems after i wrecked one of them. they will start after spraying some starting fluid, but they wont stay on. they will die after about 25 seconds, any ideas? and where can i get a new pull starter?

Aside from pulling the string; to start 1) Turn supply cock so that the knob/flap is pointed vertically so fuel fills the little bottle 2) flip the choke up 3) pull string.

When bike starts flip the choke down and ride.

and by the way , the quality of them chinese bikes is never enouf to be legal , and what about sise , brakes , chinese bikes have issues with all of that .. here in holland we have the basic rule ,, drive at a closed parking lot , or on private ground. everywhere a car is able to come is 100% not legal. you also may drive on a closed area from somebody else , but with uhmm how do you say that , ägree-ment" from the owner of that ground .

@nativeskater1 I used to ride mine on the streets in Toronto but the cops dont really like it. They laid down the whole you dont have insurance/ license yada yada yada. It is totally legal if you ride it on a closed circuit. Basically an area where cars are not allowed and the owner of that spot has no problem with you doing so.

@PCGameplayVids @PCGameplayVids ok here some info for you... The choke is usually located to the left of the fuel control, and to tell if the choke is open/closed is easy. If the switch is upwards, then the choke is closed, after having it going for 5 minutes or so, place the valve in the open position (downwards) also dont forget ur fuel cutoff should be vertical while starting and putting it away when done should be horizontal..... hope i helped a bit.

It's because the engine idol is a little too high. There is a little gold screw on the crab that controls engine idol. these bikes have what's called a centrifugal clutch. The faster the engine spins, the more the clutch grabs. Google how a Centrifugal clutch works and also google how to adjust the idol on pocket bikes. Hope that helps. And, yes pocketbikes are a huge pain in the ass to maintain. That's why I sold all three of mine 2 years ago. It was fun for a bit but a huge headache.

The best way to tell if the clutch is stuck open is, if the rear wheel spins like crazy when you pull the pull start. It should not spin at all on just spin a little! If the engine is idoling at a normal rpm, the rear wheel shouldn't spin very much! If it spins like crazy at start up with a normal idol, the clutch might be stuck in the open position!

Yeah, we use to race up at this indoor go cart track. Then some insurance inspector came down, and basically said no more pocket bike racing, or we won't insure you anymore. The guy who owns the track is really nice. But he can't let us race anymore.  Everyone was in full race gear too.
