dowsing as an unexplained but observable phenomena is not pseudoscience. It is a real phenomena which people have attempted to explain. Those explanations may in themselves become psuedoscientific however
@HunterHornet Dowsing is real???? Care to show me some genuine, peer-reviewed, scientific studies that supports the assumption that dowsing works?????
i love how he has crazy ass hair to make him seem all out there and zany when really he is a concervative realist skeptic doubter! good thing those kids are old enough to decide for themselves
were talking about science, not morals or personal beliefs
UFO's to be honestly if somebody believes in them (not aircraft) and "green aliens" or that they get possesed i wouldnt bother debatingg with them. its not science
cryptozoologists - many of them dont bother with correct scientific method. end of, there is no debate about it. it may be some of the creatures they found (not ufo/aliens) exist but the method isnt scientific, most ignore evidence, hes not claiming to know if things exist
I think his take on Pseudoscience is a bit tricky, but nonetheless enjoyable especially when his lecture allows him to involve the audience.
Yet, some of these rules cycling around psuedoscience just confuse me: Look at 0:23 seconds. It shows, "UFO's" and "Cryptozoology". Very few cryptids have been proven real, but nonetheless verified. UFO's ... not plausible? I disagree.
Well, that was part of his point. Belief in stupid shit has skyrocketed. Statistically, I'm sure we all should find something we're willing to subscribe to in his list.
The question isn't whether UFOs could exist or not, the question is if "UFO science" is credible. You are free to think it is, but most of the rest of the world view it as a collection of quaint conspiracy theories, unverified claims and people misinterpreting natural phenomena.
accorsing to that definition evolution is pseudoscience :d

@Youcarryot
The terms Theory and Hypothesis are used interchangeably internationally.

Creationism=Pseudoscience and Evolution=Science.

1:19. You form a HYPOTHESIS, test that hypothesis, and then reject or accept that hypothesis. NOT THEORY. Even he doesn't get it.

A very long list of pseudosciences. I couldn't find 'intelligent design', 'creationism', and above all: religion.
