You have a fine young voice with outstanding potential. And your English diction is quite good:). The only thing I'd criticize is your tendency to start some long tones straight before adding vibrato. Although ome excellent lieder singers do this, it is a popular-music convention that is not appropriate in classical singing. (I don't like it in pop singing either, but I digress:). Otherwise, very good work. Best of luck to you:) -- Sincerely, Steve
Swallowing your words and vowels a little bit. and you covered when hitting the high notes. still, very good voice control even though it reminded me of the muppet "fozzie"
Du sollst vielleicht "Conservatory" statt High School sagen. High School in den USA ist Gymnasium. Du bist offentsichlich nicht mehr unter 18 Jahre alt, gell? Sehr schön gesungen!
This is very advanced for High school - I assume you will go (or have already gone) on to conservatory to finalize what is a very very promising voice. My only suggestion is that you might make the rolled 'r' much less pronounced in second song - a short flip will suffice to launch it. Kudos to the unnamed pianist too.
Sorry, I used the wrong term here: I'm no highschool student, but a college student.
In Germany there's another school system and I mixed it up.
My school is a small music college, the standard being a bit higher as in a conservatory. I'm now in the 4th semester. The video was taken in my second.
But I had no voice lessons before. I started studying the cello.
I hate singing the second song compared to the others.
Its the lowest song in the set. Much lower than the other songs.
It feels out of place for an average singer.

There's no way you could be singing the Roadside Fire and NOT have a voice lesson.

Beautiful voice, man. Great control, only a few vowel issues, but otherwise an excellent performance!

Great voice, but lots of the words vanished because you're swallowing the vowel sounds a bit.
Really liked the control over the higher notes, especially the last one.

Wow, I didn't expect that kind of voice. Just freshman? and never have the voice lesson? So gifted!

@Hrbmus3 Thank You!
But as I said earlier: It's no High school.
When the vid was made, I was in the 4th semester,
so it was on the edge to college, so to say (though we don't have high schools or colleges in Germany).
anyway, thanks very much for the compliment :-)

Try to move it little less; there is enough expression in your voice ;-)
