@dragonking700 gday mate what i meant is i dont think the gun should go across your body say if the gun is pointed at your heart area i would push the gun barrel to the left "away" from my body instead of to the right where there is a chance he will pull the trigger in time probably hitting you square in the chest. still dangerous either way cos its a gun not a stick! lol

Hmm, I don't know if someone would be pointing the gun anywhere other than down the center of your body. People don't usually take precise anatomy into thought when they're trying to threaten or kill you. Either way though, it doesn't matter, because it takes a quarter of a second for your brain to actually register that something has happened and direct a response. a fraction of a foot won't make that much difference in time, and as long as the move is instinctive, it will work.

believe it or not, krav maga remings me of stipped down TKD. similar basics, - the fancy stuff. our basic kicks are exactly the same. of course, no one wants anything to do with TKD anymore... olympic TKD has spoiled a good art. seriously, any art that has been made into a sport is dead or dying.

i think it was meant to signify a thief breaking in. And hitting the helmet would still have a shock value causing the person to lighten his grip on the weapon. Very good video

First it means that you can strike an opponent who has a hard helmet on his head. It generates a shock in his mind, and you don't break bones or wrist by hitting the target with an opened hand.

Secondly krav maga practitioners have to adapt themselves to every king of situations, even if an opponent is well protected with motorcycle helmet for example.
