They did something like this not long ago here. There was a northbound train halfway on the passing siding stopped with a green signal. Not sure if they had a problem or what, but they apparently did have traffic backed up. I saw 3 northbounds shortly after in quick succession. That's unusual for this line. Worked out nice for me though. ;-)
Lol. that why I said just west of Gooding. It goes though Hammett, Glenns Ferry and to the west of gooding. I have Google earth. What year is youy UP track book. The one that the club owns is from 90. Is your more up-dated then that one?

@UP5314 Ho no I caught and video taped him also going though glenns ferry. He had those same locos. Just not sure as to why he stopped there... Lol!

Great video my friend 5* Thats stange the driver stopped their if the singal was green unless the train failed or somthing.

Nope! Double track ends just west of Gooding. Not sure why they had him stopped there. Cos he was on main two.

I got a UP book here double track runs from Ticeska to Reverse, Bliss to Tunupa is all single track my friend lol
