the distace of rescue crews, the pre spotting of the area and so on. nothing of that is a secret, so this show is very much as it seems to be.

@brenttiefenbach dave cantabury i think is how you spell it but he runs the pathfinder school for wilderness survival in the states. he did a show recently called duel survival it was okay check it out. he also has tons of videos on you tube that teach about survival really cool.

Alaska: Reminds me of "Into the Wild" that is about Christopher McCandless! He died after 41 days I think after living in the "Magic Bus". It is a very touching movie and if you like these episodes, I would really recommend you to watch that movie. Based on a true story and the bus he lived in is still there in the mountains.
