Learning from one of the best in the game in Kareem certainly didn't hurt his development, either. He'll turn 23 later this month, but he's already shown flashes of becoming a legit All-Star center in the following years to come. Hell, if Patrick Ewing could do it for that long on two bad wheels, I don't see why Bynum can't do the same for that matter.
I think a lot of people don't realize that the development of bynum in 07-08 before he got injured was the reason kobe stayed in LA. Kobe was ready to leave that season but the emergence of bynum kept him in La.

paul pierce has been unbeliveable consistent and efficient in his play. Way more than kobe who can take 45 shots in a game and hit 9 of em. Kobe has more talent and a better player, but pierce is far more consistent.

Andrew Bynum, has the potential to give Lakers the best defensive big center in the NBA for sure.
However, comparing him to Shaq's prime years is just not enough for Bynum to be the go to guy..
Phil Jackson's triangle offense is mainly designed for guards eg.. MJ , Scottie and Kobe.
Unless you have someone like Shaq.. but Gosal is they main scoring center, the only way I see Bynum being an all star is when Gosal retires.

These past almost 5 months of no LAKER basketball has been killing me. And 1:12 and 3:20....... WOW two words, HIGHLIGHT REEL!!!!!!! F*ck man it was all amazing. have u seen bynum this year? he's doouble the size from last year. He's huge and he's only 20 years old. He's gonna be bigger than shaq and a more complete player. Bynum has all the moves and offensive skills plus defensive skills.

Now dont make a fool of yourself trying to prove Kobe was better than Shaq. Compare the field goal %, the rebounds, blocks, etc. Shaq was better than Kobe.
