If it is shooting down and to the left, consitantly it means it is VERY accurate. Alls you need is your sights zeroed in.

i have a problem my spring on my glock 17 always comes off the cresent lip of the barrel is this normal and it always tends to be at an angle whhen i rack the slide

yes just a little bit is comes off the half moon face of the barrel on to the the next little indent when i take it apart but not all the way off and the slide racked to the back the recoil spring is angeled like you said

I am no expert i have never even fired a gun, but i think the idea is to line up all three dots or line up the tops of sight so they are level. As for the shotgun question, is that the ghost ring site, i think it's called. Wikipedia that and it should give you an explanation i guess.

Looks a little bit low, but the grouping is decent. Free tip: put the dot of the front sight where you want to hit, not under it. The old blade style sights you alighn just a hair bit under, Dot sight pretend mentaly it is a laser, your shooting will improe dramaticly. Try it, I did and my groups were tighter and in the center, I was used to the old style of sights when I first got a pistol with the dot sights.

Good video. Nice vantage point, almost like being there. Nice to show the groupings too. Most personal defense happens on or about 10 yards so it is a good idea to practice at that distance. There seemed to be a lot of recoil coming from a 9mm. What load were you using: 124+p, 147 grs.?

it shouldnt be much with the 9mm, going from a 17 to 19, the 26 might be a bit harder but again in 9mm wotn be a big difference but when you go froma full size 40SW or 45ACP to a subcompact it woudl be harder...

Sold my Glock 17L, and went with a Beretta Px4 9mm, G model. Thought I loved the Glock until I shot the Beretta. Virtually half recoil and maintenace. Looks better too. Too much drift off target for the Glock, but never had any probs.
