  • So did you find out, what was the actual problem. i have the same problem with my Cadillac, i just bought it and found this problem. i am guessing one of the fuel injector is bad.

  • thanks. I don't think it's anything to do with the ignition, as I've been through it with new wires, cap/rotor, it does the same thing. I'm rebuilding the carb now, I think it had some kind of issue.

  • probably just a sparkplug / or wire /or distributor cap has small hairline cracks/ or rotor. unless it has like 200000 miles on it then it could be a burnt valve .
