  • Very nice as usual, and respect and congratulations to all at the GCR who made it happen.

  • was it me or was the spam can missing a beat leaving quorn? or is that how they sound anyway....

  • @paulsheldrake

I think that is how they are meant to sound. It is a kind of syncopation. There are some who would equate the sound to Stravinsky's greatest works, but they don't come from around these parts.

  • @paulsheldrake Nope, I work on the Mid-hants and thats normal sounding for her!

  • Great shots of 34007, my favourite "Spamcan".

  • @hurleyfunbags

Thanks. Plenty to choose from, I think!

  • Fantastic as always Mike, nice to see the turntable nearing completion, and to think I was filming and travelling behind 88 on Sunday at the WSR....Bob

  • @robmasterman

Thanks. The turntable is to be opened on Saturday, though it has already been used on 88.

  • I refuse to be BULLIED OLIVER good mind to report you to You Tube for air-smooth casing abuse.

  • Delicious shots of the Spam especially those on loughborough shed.Theres never enough of these machines, every preserved line should have one !

  • @SuperWHIZZO It quite often feels like they do!

  • @SuperWHIZZO

Visits of spamcans to the GC are rare; I was pleased I had the opportunity to film one. I remember a Bluebell event where there were 4 of them...a quiet day indeed.

  • It shall be interesting to see if 34007 can surpass 34070's performances last weekend at the West Somerset weekend.

  • @Mikelandscaper

The GCR is much flatter than the WSR; it will have much less chance to impress.
