  • If it were me I'd get the hell outta there.

  • good thing i have a tornado book and wow when i saw the name in the book. There was 190 tornados there around kansas

  • i think thats by our town i don't know i can't tell

  • The actual tornado is near Protection.

  • I passed near Protection earlier in the day as their tornado sirens were going off, but I did not see that first tornado in my video till after I was NE of Greensburg (in the far NE corner of Kiowa county). The last 2 tornadoes were near Macksville, KS.

  • Sorry, my bad. You are the expert. By the picture you had of the radar it looked right by protection.

  • wow the nite this happened my bro was having a Cico De Mayo concert. While we were all having a blast, this was happening. wow. I felt so terrible when i found this out. I still do. God bless those souls.

  • this is the first time I've seen a double twister. then again I head for shelter, not my car & camera, soon as those sirens sound LoL. great video, stay safe you crazy person you!

  • I think it's multivortex

  • thats awsome i think that would take england off the map

  • my eyes decieve me that's a double tornado?

  • Its a double in my book. Not an easy score either.

  • Damn, those clouds r low as hell!! I'm from MI, so i dont get to see this stuff from up here. :(

  • 1 ur crazy

2 sorry for the bunch of tornados that hit :(

  • zajebiaszcze!

  • Incredible. I also found it amusing that you came to a complete stop at 27 seconds... instantly.

  • yupp, this is nice

  • stunning video, liked the lightening pic at the end! i'd love to be there amongst the lighteneing n all, all @ a safe distance of course lol.

  • That was amazing to get any video with how much wind (plus the car's speed) and how bumpy even some of the blacktop roads could be (I'm guessing the blacktop was US 281 between 50 and Great Bend). It was nice to get a storm with nothing to the south.

  • The blacktop road was Dilwyn road south of highway 50. It is the next north-south paved road west of 281. It actually had road blocks on it, but i didnt want to turn around (and other roads were very muddy there). I figure if we took it slow we be alright. About 5 cars started following us when we did that. Powerlines were everywhere, it was bad. I have a steady camera hand, but I had to have my friend film for me this day because of how dangerous the roads were this day (paved or dirt/mud).

  • Try staying up with storms that are moving 50 mph while driving down wet, sandy/muddy roads and keep a camera steady. We are lucky we got any video at all of this day.

  • LoL YEA! Thats it you tell 'em!! :)

    Stay Safe x

  • You guys needs to hold the camera still.
