  • Kucinich/Nader 2012. I wish they hadn't declined to run. I'll write them in.

  • Nader/Kucinich would be a wonderful sweeping change. Now, you're talking about a dream team. Does anyone know if they are considering this? If so could you email me some info. on it. I'm campaigning for them 14 to16 hours a day free, because I want it that much.

  • Nader/Kucinich for President in 2012 for a Democratic Socialist Party. Politically they no longer fit in with democrats but would fit in very well with a Socialist Party.

  • Obama should have appointed Nader to a position.

  • @XM8rifle obama is a corporate whore and a war monger that doesnt care about the constitution, why would he use nader for anything?think they want someone that speaks to truth to power in their cabinet?

  • @robaquarian Pres. Obama isn't a bad person. He's simply not able to callenge the zionists who are backed by the Fed, who are backed by the Rothchilds money. Listen to how both parties of the house reassures Israel that they are behind them 100% whatever they decide to do. His hands are pretty much tied. Nobody wants to talk about it, but the Jews are running the show and calling the shots and everyone knows it.

  • Dear Mr. Nader,

I am sorry to rain on your parade, but very few people under 30 know who you are?

  • @rachelgolem Wrong. Have you ever been to a Nader rally? All young people.

  • Nader waited to see who would win democratic primary before deciding to run. I think that Nader did not endorse Kucinich because many democrats do not like Nader.

  • the better question might be; why didn't kucinich endorse ralph.

  • I think kucinich is alright but he seems to just say the things that pander to the common people. I am not accusing him of being disingenuous but the USA needs more than a cheerleader for president.

  • One more thing, I think it's important that someone like Nader is there to offer a real progressive option to American voters. Kucinich is progressive, yes, but he doesn't have a chance of ever being president, even if he is a Democrat, because the Democrats find him way too progressive to be president. Actually, it is quite amazing that he became senator. Sadly though, I think he has a much stronger voice in the senate than he did as a presidential candidate.

  • He is a representative not a Senator.

  • Right! Shit, I meant congress.

  • Nader said he would not have ran had Kucinich (or Gravel) gotten the nomination. But he is not a Democrat, and I think that ever since the 2000 elections he is quite disliked by many of them, so don't you think it would've hurt Kucinich's chances if Nader had backed him officially?

  • Maybe not because most of the people who vote Kucinich also like Nader (and probably voted for him once their candidate did not get the nomination). If any Democrat dislikes Nader because of the '00 elections, I would tell them that their anger is misdirected; Nader did not cost Gore the election (since Gore won), it was those 5 politicians on the Supreme Court who did that and I doubt the results would have been different had Nader not run. The GOP still would have stolen those elections.

  • Please check out the work of Zacharia Sitchin and tell everyone you know to do the same... there is much more than meets the eye...

  • Don't believe that Obama and McCain are the same. They're not. Obama is better. Nader is great but nobody wants a know-it-all I-told-you-so as president. I don't know why, but he has no chance. Obama is preferable; and McCain/Palin is a disaster.

  • Obama and McCain are not identical, but they have many similiar policies, including:

    * Expanding the military budget

    * Expanding the war on terror to Pakistan

    * Continuing the Bush Doctrine policy of pre-emptive war

    * Both voted for the outrageous wall street bailout

    * Both voted for the Patriot Act

    * Both support the Israeli lobby and the illegal occupation of Palestine

    * Both support inefficient, costly, for-profit healthcare

    * "Clean coal" offshore drilling & Nuclear

    * Both are Pro-NAFTA

  • If you want to have a government of the people, by the people , and for the people vote for Nader.

If you want a government of the Exxons, by the General Motors, and for the DuPonts, vote for Mccain/Obama.

  • So, is anybody else pissed about, how, well, you know, THE ELECTIONS ARE RIGGED?

Does anybody else have a problem with this?

Or the fact we're using HACKABLE COMPUTERS.. I mean, the PSYCHOS have rigged 2 elections, and we're heading for a 3rd and you DON'T HEAR A WORD ABOUT IT IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

I hope people go down to their local news stations and START DEMANDING 9/11 NEO-CON BOHEMIAN GROVE TRUTH!

    END THE WAR DUH!

  • MIKE GRAVEL FOR PRESIDENT

  • Why is Obama awful? Come on y'all, join the hope!

  • He is pro war.

He says he will get combat troops out of Iraq but does not say he will bring all troops out by 2013. He will not promise to do that. Also, he does not support real health care just like Clinton does not.

  • that's not true, he was against the war before it was cool to be against the war. and yeah, he's gonna have a much smaller residual force there to protect embassies and such and track down the few AQ cells that are there. you'll have to define "real health care" because he does support expanding public financing of health insurance, but no, he's not gonna shut down all the for profit insurance co.'s just like we shouldn't shut down all private schools. check out his website u may just like him.

  • Check out Naders website and you'll like him.

That residual force he says will be an estimated 60,000 troops.

He wants to subsidize health care for everyone instead of using the health care system that is used and works in almost all other western industrialized health insurance.

  • gore lost because he was the same as bush. we were going into iraq either way, he's running mate was Liberman and gore never said a word against the brutal sanctions on iraq throughout the 90s Gore sux

  • Ralph Nader is "Harold Stassen" with a truly negative impact. He could have prevented the Iraq War.... by bowing out in 2000, or stopped war in 2004.

Many suspect it is his narcissist belief in his superior intellect compels him to nominate himself for acclamation as Philosopher-King....

The idea of building a CONSENSUS, a coalition, to run for US President is beneath a man who single-handedly saves us from the Corvair.

  • Maybe you couldve stopped the Iraq war through protesting.

I find it hard to swallow that people whine about Nader causing Bush, when they themselves dont contribute very much politically.

    King?

He's running for an election, youre really over reacting and getting a bit too personal.

  • REPLY: TRY EITHER:

1)The idea of building a CONSENSUS, a coalition, to run... OR

    2) JOINING a CONSENSUS, a coalition, to prevent the evil

    corporations from RUNNING THE USA!

too personal ? try being "swiftboated" on TV

  • A coalition?

    Like the Democratic party, perhaps?

Which refuses to touch the issues of corporate influence?

Keep voting for em, and keep getting the change you so sincerely desire.

They did great work giving up on pre war intelligence hearings, energy policy hearings, impeachment, voting for war, protecting civil liberties, etc.

    Yeah, great party there.

P.S. What the conservatives swift boating Kerry has to do with anything I dont know.

  • Because, your fellow morons searching for "ideological perfection" splinter the "left of center" vote THUS allowing right-wing nut jobs(aka swiftboaters) to hold sway over the Congress... and thus to due the bidding the of corporations you hate.....

thus the Demos are left in a "sink or swim" situation for 6 long years... as you knuckleheads come your senses in 2006 ... a vote for the consensus "greater good"...

Who did you vote for 2006??

    (Hope this not too personal??)

  • I vote for left of democrat parties, or democrats if i think they have any integrity (feingold).

If democrats cant convince of me to vote for them, i will not.

The vote was not split in 04, kerry just lost.

When Perot split the vote, i dont remember hering republicans cry as much as you.

  • Nader is an independent/green candidate, he owes the democratic party nothing.

I hope he runs because Obama and Clinton only appear progressive after 8 years of Bush fascism.

If you want to seriously tackle global warming in an Apollo-esque fashion. Repeal the Patriot act, overturn that investors rights agreement called NAFTA. End the war and occupation. Then for heaven's sake vote for Ralph!

  • Ron Paul is about as gone as Gravel, if your criteria for a viable candidate is their chance at getting elected. A shame, yes, but true. So how about a revolt then? Did demonstrations become a group activity before or after they became dangerous?

  • dennis k and gravel were the only real democrats and there gone.now there is only ron paul left.maybe we need a bomb to end the world.

  • This guy has a great New YeorK narrating voice.

  • dennis k and ron paul seem to be the only hope for people.if they win we well find out.

  • Gravel is our hope.

  • We need progressives in our government! The neo-cons are ruining us:-(

  • no matter what your vote is Israel is ruleing your country and you force other countries to go to war for Israel.

  • Aaron Russo.........Damn he sounds like Aaron!

  • I hope Dennis gets the nomination. If not, I will either vote Socialist, or vote for Obama.

  • Just curious, why is Obama awful? I asume you'll say it's because he voted in favour of funding the war in Iraq, but when troops say they are ill equiped with no bdy armour funding may be rational.

  • have a look through some of the videos on youtube, not nessesarily from this guy. You'll see that obama is just a corrupt politician willing to sell his soul to the devil for the presidential seat. Hillary is also warped, she wants to bomb iran? Jeez, what a retard she turned out to be

    VOTE FOR DENNIS

  • when congress votes to "fund the troops" they know very well that it takes at least three years for a "yes" vote on appropriations to manifest itself in the form of actual equipment on the group in iraq. it has to go through the dept. of defense, which negotiates contracts. the idea that the troops would be without equipment is a total myth, and worse, it's Bush's myth.

  • obama isn't "awful," he just isn't any different. he isn't "Change." he voted for the border wall, is against gay marriage, voted to re-authorize the patriot act, to confirm condi rice, gonzo, alito, chertoff, robert gates. he's taken more money from Wall Street than any other candidate. he's an actor and apparently americans love movies

  • If you look at the money in the campaigns, and what it buys - there's the real truth. Obama's portfolio is more balanced than Hillary's, but he still takes from much of the troubling sources (ie - Wall Street investment firms, etc.) - hard to read all the tea leaves, though.

  • they all better prepare to be drafted if they vote 4 any of the top 3 the proposal is already in congress, its been there since jan 07

  • Kucinich won't win. The Iowa caucas is done.

Nader's best chance before was to run as a Dam, he's so recognized that he'd surely have gotten out to people.

His only chance now is to be the alternative to the other candidates, like in 2004.

  • Because Gravel is 10 times better.

  • Sadly, unless something miraculous happens Kucinich/Paul/Gravel have a snowball's chance in hell of making the nomination. And if they run as independents, it's unlikely that they'll make the presidency.

Right now it's between Obama/Clinton and whoever is the last man standing out of the clusterfuck of republicans.

The system is flawed yes. And as a result we're going to wind up with the Lowest Common Denominator as our president.

  • I really hope this isn't true. I'm a strong democrat and would absolutely LOVE to see Kucinich as president. But, if by some miracle Paul gets the republican nomination and Kucinich doesn't get the dem, I will probably vote for Paul. I don't agree with all of his policies, but I DO agree that the federal government needs to have FAR less power than it does today.

  • I'd still vote for edwards over paul. All of these paulbots talk about unity but where the fuck were they to support nader's candidacy in elections past?

  • Jopaddy81, all press has a slant. This guy has apparently done the research and has found Kucinich to be the best Candidate.

I'm not sure if I agree with him, but I do trust his exhausting research. RP doesn't post a video without knowing what he's talking about.

  • I don't get you guys. I thought you represented free press. Not politicians

  • stop voting. if they are there, they can or will be twisted.

  • rey, rue: you guys are right...

And, a question: What should the Dems fear more? The mere *threat* of cooperation, or the *actual* loss of my vote-which by way of not allowing me to vote, they already have-in the primary?

  • Representative Press: Your video posts endorsing Kucinich are doing wonders for Ron Paul via comments from Paul supporters. At every Kucinich post, R.P. fans are quick to post. I guess that reflects the similarites between the two. I agree with Kucinich as prez, Paul at V.P. Too bad Dems wont let independants vote in the primary here...

  • I'd LOVE to have Kucinich as President, but sadly neither Kucinich or Paul have a chance at getting their respective nominations. The country is sticking to the status quo, most fear any major change, so they'd rather have Clinton, Obama, or worse, Ghouliani or Romney in office...I'm not sure how much longer it will take before America wakes up...how depressing :(

  • You talk about "America waking up"....have you ever seen a dead person who had the luxury of time to "wake up"? As a free nation or any illusion of same, America is very much dead...I mean face down in the gutter in a pool of its own blood, DEAD...and it has the dollar sign circumscribed by the Star of David carved into its naked back.

  • @bionic

    not yet......

  • Any videos in particular?

  • Nader as Kuciniches running mate is a great idea. Can you believe Gore gets a nobel peace prize after supporting sanctions that killed tens of thousands, while Nader who actually practices what he preaches gets larely overlooked. bullshit.

  • Could you imagin if Ron Paul wins, Nice thought for a Peacefull world, Americans Owning there own money, No Longer being Born into a perpetual cycle of dept,

Hell we may even end up useing hydrogen rather then burning carbon,

  • Interesting. I would like Dennis Kucinich to be president and Ron Paul to be Vice President... but if that doesn't work out, then a Kucinich Gravel ticket would be 2nd best in my opinion. I don't quite agree with Gravel on some issues, though Gravel is very blunt in going after strong foreign issues which is good, he's also a non cfr member. Kucinich is strong here in New York, I don't know 1 hillary supporter and I swayed my mom to vote Kucinich.

  • The Green Party should endorse Kucinich.

Getting a double nomination would really help out Kucinich as the political minded democrats would be afraid that the Green Party's manpower could actually win with Kucinich, and would probably start giving him a chance.

If political parties started working together when they agree on something, we could see a lot of change in this country.

  • ruediix, I agree. It is time for progressive political parties to join forces. Having a candidate IN the Democratic party makes it more likely of getting that politicians elected.

  • Not to mention the fear in the "politically motivated" side of the Democratic party, who would fear loosing the two party system if they didn't accept cooperation.

I mean it would be rather cool to see the Green Party say "We're not nominating a canidate, because we find Kucinich acceptable, and he's running as a Democrat. We will instead publish our support for him, and put our forces behind him as well."

  • ruediix, I really think they should.

  • He just did. He said, "I do like Kucinich" Print it! Kucinich/Nader 2008! Rock!

  • Isn't what Nader said an endorsement in all but possibly name?

He also said he saluted Ron Paul and Mike Gravel.

  • apostledbm, are you a member of the Westboro Baptist Church?

  • for starters, Obama doesn't tell the truth about Social Security, he plays the game the elites want him to play.

  • sorry no chance for dennis and nadar is a tool used by neo cons.

  • It is true he has endorsed Mike Gravel.

    /watch?v=7r2ZHnfndQU

    /watch?v=lLj9AFm0ODg

  • that is not an endorsement ijustwantmathias.

The first name Nader says is Kucinich.

  • Yes in the first one but the second one he doesnt mention Kucinich. But you do have a point. Do you really think Naders endosement would add to the Kucinich base? Most "Naderites" I know are Greens.

  • He likes Ron Paul and Mike Gravel too. But that doesn't mean he'll endorse them either.

  • I think he's cautious to throw his endorsement in due to the falsely created media image as a "spoiler". Remember how demonized he was! I know he's a Kucinich guy though. :)

  • Why doesn't Kucinich endorse Nader?

  • RepPress, I just read one of your articles. It makes me so happy to see someone who looks at these issues as I do.

Countries NEED some protectionism. This whole idea that free trade is good for the common people and we need to keep expenses and taxes down for the rich so they won't pass the expense onto us is absolute (insert multiple cuss words here)!

  • It's as though the American people have forgotten that they themselves can grow food, produce goods, and that they live in one of the most resource rich nations in the world.

These corporate pirates don't care what happens to America, or any other country. They can live anywhere they want. Why do people make themselves slaves to the wealthy? Have they lost all faith in themselves?

  • true indeed!

  • I disagree that protectionism is necessary. Free trade is a good thing, as long as we ensure that the wealth does not fall solely into the hands of the rich in the countries with which we trade. This can be done through fair trade agreements and the like, but that is not the same thing as protectionism, which is terrible, terrible economic policy. (And this comes from one of the most progressive people you'll find...let's just say that I make Kucinich look moderate.)

  • why not support kucinich? because he has already endorsed mike gravel, unfortunately.

  • all that aside, RepPress, I do give you incredible respect and view every single one of your videos when you post them because most of the time I agree with you.

People don't listen to the right sources. So Dems and GOPs all pander using the mixed up facts (Gulliani especially).

  • Also, I don't think that any of those three would actually work together. Kucinich's interests are too different from either of the others, and Gravel would accuse them both of taking money from somewhere that smells weird. I don't know about him accusing Kucinich though. Most of his complaining (in fact all of it unless he's doing something i haven't heard) has been about Hillary/Obama.

  • Kucinich, Gravel, and Paul would all do better for themselves if they got together and started another party.

You're right about Paul's economics, and I'm surprised I hadn't noticed that before. Electing Ron Paul would be similar to re-electing Hoover.

I wish the economic machine didn't depend so much on the government though.

  • that is a really good point.. i totally agree because it appears that Americans have become too polarized by this 2-political-party concept.

  • I actually agree with you on the democratic machine being controlled by special interests. That's one of the reasons why the party really can't be changed (even from the inside out). Rather than fix a party that's already fucked up beyond all recognition, another needs to be started, hence the Whigs and the Bull Run Party which both had effects on party politics.

  • representative press, my Friend.. do you really think that you can break the grasp of the neocon media hold and let free the free thoughts??

i respect and revere ur crusade if you may! but i just have got so discouraged that i have to hit the sack to see the hope.

  • I think Nader did plenty, it's just that his time is over. I wouldn't blame him for the bush legacy, I blame the people who voted for him for wasting their vote.

Didn't make a bit of a damn difference down here in Georgia. Bush won overwhelmingly.

  • It wasn't a wasted vote. The blame is on the Democratic machine controlled by special interests. If they wanted to win and they wanted the votes of those supporting Nader, THEN THE DEMOCRATS SHOULD HAVE ADOPTED THE POLICIES THAT THE PEOPLE WANT. Gore deserved to lose, Liberman as VP? What kind of shit was that?

  • OH,I so agree with you on this one, Rep. I actually voted for Nader in 2000 rather than someone who came from the Clinton White house (who started this whole tax cuts for the wealthy thing), or another Bush. It pissed me off hearing the Democratic party complaining - it's like they think they deserve everything the Republicans don't get, whether they represent me or not.

  • That said, after what I've learned about Nader since then, I'd never vote for the guy and it doesn't surprise me he didn't endorse Kucinich. He's a self serving, conniving person.

  • Given the democratic machine's efforts to slime Nader as the main reason why Gore lost and to blame him for Bush's legacy, he might wisely not be openly endorsing any candidate.

Ffs, why is a man like Nader who has done more for the US citizen than the next 10 men under him always being criticized for somehow not doing enough?

  • But changing the Democratic party from the inside is the best way to deal with the bas aspects of the party. Supporting Kucinich move the party away from the worst elements.

  • And do you think that Ralph 'blood on his hands' Nader has any influence inside the Dem hierarchy?

Why should any of us waste our efforts to change any of the two parties when the fact that we have only the two parties is part of the problem?

  • And although I'm a Gravel supporter, his way of running has been too negative to do anything of real nature. He's doing a good job shaking things up, but he's too anti-dem to get the dem nomination.

I lost sight of Kucinich when he said he was for reparations for slavery. I can't support that. It opens too many doors for dumbassery.

  • so what do you think should be done about this issue that has been neglected for so long, ignore it further???

  • I think that nader is going to sit this election out. He's a little eccentric for what he used to be. I think his prime has ended.

Sadly, the winner of the nomination is going to be either Obama or Hillary, regardless of what we do pretty much. Kucinich is too far left for the nation so he's not going to get the nomination.

  • Kucinich is NOT too far left for the nation, he is too representative of what the majority of Americans want so the elites will make sure he's not going to get the nomination.

  • I do think Nader Gravel and Paul all like Kucinich but the should really all have a strategic meeting and unite as one. All of them should have important roles in the cabinet regardless of who is president

  • forex01, I wish Nader Gravel and Kucinich would work together, Ron PAul on the other hand has extremist policies which ignore the reality of economics and how Americans live in America. Ron Paul denies the reality of American suffering during the Great Depression.

  • What is the reality of economics? Could you clarify your criticism of Dr. Paul?

  • I added info in the video description of this video. It should provide a good starting point.

  • judoskeleton, you see what has happened (for YEARS0 is that a massive fraud is being perpetrated on the American people. How the economy really works is that the rich and powerful use government money all the time. They sell this crap about "rugged individualism" YET they are the biggest ones taking public funds for private profit.

  • Please do see the links at the bottom of the video description. It really isn't a surprise that Paul would deny the impact of the Great Depression because his ideology can't deal with the reality of economics. It was government spending that took us out of the Great Depression, that is one of the realities that the elites avoid.

  • I remember is school how a teacher avoided the reality that capitalism clearly failed with the Great Depression. He said FDR tried gov. programs BUT it took WWII to take us out of the depression. BUT the fact is WWII WAS A GOV. PROGRAM, IT WAS GOV SPENDING! He should have said "AND" it took, not "but" because what worked was the gov. subsidies and NOT the fact that people were fighting in a war.

  • paul does have extremist views but many of them are not realistic nor feasible.

  • meanwhile you can see what would happen, he would end up being able to cut many things that help the little guy while the rich and powerful and their corporations would still be getting the massive government subsidies. It is naive to think that the things that keep the economy afloat -pumping money into super rich companies- are the things going to get cut, what will get cut are the programs where regular people benefit from the Gov.

  • Capitalism fails when the political system becomes an arm of private banks and corporatism. This corruption in government is at the heart of just about all problems this nation faces. Disparity between the rich and poor, big money oligopolies, and expensive health care are all direct results of a corrupt political system. Capitalism, communism, and socialism all fail when the governance is corrupted. Dr. Paul has this understanding and has spoken at length about it.

  • Not to mention he also denies evolution...

  • I appreciate your videos.

I think Nader might be too proud to support anybody who he doesn't agree with 100%.

  • thank you newjesus. I really wonder what the answer is. Nader may have tried to email me but some ass had used my e-mail to send out spam so I am getting flooded with "returned" e-mail"

  • I am not sure what the story is. He seems plenty brave, Nader has done great things for this country.
