  • it is a bit faster than the dc version

  • This Plane is A-10 Thunderbolt , in this game , it's SO Powerful . I LOVE IT :)

Japanese are the BEST Designers of Planes on Games and Animes !!!!

  • really want this game on dreamcast anyone know where i can find it at a decent price?

  • I don't know for sure, but I might have listened to the first notes in the boss theme smoewhere. A D.J. friend of mine said it comes from a "Sugarcubes" song, but couldn't tell me which one. Anybody here knows something about it?

  • Man, i remember playing this game all the time at the arcade. Those were the days... Oh well, emulator time!

  • Yeah, you seem quite accomplished at the game. The best I've gotten so far is about 1.4 trillion, although I expect I'll be improving with time.

  • The red plane's okay but is you can't attack your sides which is extremely important.

Blue is my fav because the heat seeker missiles attack everywhere.

Pink's the easiest to win with.

    Hate the green plane.lol

  • Red plane is the best forward attack and has no secondary. Yes it's the hardest to play.

  • nice game! Looks fun, you can turn the enemies bullets into points lol!

  • good job man its nice to see ya took the time to figure out the way to pop some big metals and such, unlike alot of the other vids here on youtube

  • GigaWing is one of the only arcade game I finish without any miss / bomb, so there's nothing to brag about man, really.

"So, it's quite safe to say I'm better than most people at Giga Wing."

You're better than some maybe, but better than "most people" not sure, this game is easy you know.

Show us the same "skill" in Mars Matrix or even GigaWing 2 and I'll be the first to applause, but atm nothing worth mentioning.

    No offense mate

  • COME ON!

  • Ah, the good ol days...

  • "So, it's quite safe to say I'm better than most people at Giga Wing. "

A little modesty never hurt anyone.

  • nothing word to brag about becouse there is someone out there better than you and also someone better than he is and that gose on and on and on and on...........

  • @DeathBivouac do you know truxton? very good 1hit kill plane shooter.

  • the amount of points determine how good u are and he manage to dodge till stage 7 that's good already i would also work on my points

  • What a ridiculous statement, this game is hinged on the Reflect system which is directly linked to your multiplier. The maker of this video uses great skill and judgement to maximise the gain from the multipier while staying safe from shots.

  • God, I hope you're being sarcastic.

  • Do you know if there is a way to play it on computer?

  • Emulators. I use MAME (EK-MAME, a Korean version is what I used to record this). There's other arcade emulators like Raine or Final Burn Alpha, too.

  • @ChaosAngel667 mame UI is what I use and it works really well

  • Thanks bro.

  • I don't no how to use mame and i d/led mame and gigawing and its sitting there. can anybody giv me any advice of how to use it?

  • This is the level 2 of the blue ship. Not hard at all. But is nice.

  • Damn...I'm lucky to get half that by the end of the first level.

Is Ruby the best for high score runs? Because I usually use Isha.

  • Awesome skills...I came across this vid while looking for another MAME shooter but for the life of me I can't remember what its called.

It had a WW2 aesthetic and the plane you flew had a propeller at the back of the plane (instead of the front). There was also a stage where you blew up a huge tank that rolled on traintracks. Any ideas?

  • Sounds like Strikers 1945 to me.

  • check it out is playing giga wing in asia like me

  • @xristo702: the game you wrote about (the one with the huge tank that rolled on traintracks) probably is Capcom's "19XX - The War Against Destiny". The tank (named "Sancho Pedro") is the fifth stage's boss -- and is pretty hard to blow up! -- (at least for me, that is!)

  • @xristo702

    Raiden Fighters or 19xx, possibly?

  • @gitoffame

Long time ago but yep, it was 19xx.

Loved that "briefing" music before every stage.

    Awesome game.

    =)

  • @xristo702 You just described half of the shmups out there.

  • @S0ryiu

    Haha....yeah. Takes me back....

The game was 19xx, the plane was Sinden, and the Boss on the rails was called Sancho Pedro.

  • My favorite guy is Stuck the green ship. This game is harder than it seems. There's a lot going on at one time to keep track of: different color bullets, picking up medals, and finding all the secrets.

  • Nice score~

My video just shows a run through but yours is amazing

  • Giga Wing is one of the most insane shooters I've ever played, other than Mars Matrix.

  • I'm lucky to pull out 1300 or so in the yellow by the end of stage 1... I need more practice :(

  • Damn man, talk about hardcore. Good work!
