It will also have the benefit of providing employer supported healthcare insurance, thus creating jobs in the insurance industry.

Ten years ago, I heard about the United States government wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare...I never thought they would act on it a decade later.

i haven't looked into this super committee thing too much, but it sounds like it's unconstitutional. i don't think the Constitution gives the federal government the power to create new sects of the legislative branch, especially one that has this much power. i could be totally wrong, but it just doesn't seem legal for Congress to do this (of course that's never stopped them before).

i haven't looked into this super committee thing too much, but it sounds like it's unconstitutional. i don't think the Constitution gives the federal government the power to create new sects of the legislative branch, especially one that has this much power. i could be totally wrong, but it just doesn't seem legal for Congress to do this (of course that's never stopped them before).

@javamanV3 yes i know it's a horrible thing and i know that it's going to send this country even further down the drain. it's just that work has kept me busy and prevented me from spending hours earning my law degree from Google University to confirm whether or not this is illegal. i'm almost certain it is, but i'm not going to make any assumptions since i don't know of any law or Constitutional article that prohibits it.

@gunsite308 I dont think Seder is expendable, Hes the only one who can make a relevant argument against Cenk and makes him work to defend his argument. Jayar brings a lot of valid points when he talks, but he has a hard time explaining himself, so he wouldnt go good on the panel with cenk and seder, he most likely will stay quiet. And wes also, a lot of wes' opinions are not relevant and are more on the smartass side, he would be funny but I dont think he could keep up with Cenk and Seder.

"Super Committee will screw you" These guys are against the government reducing spending to match the revenues taken in because... It interferes with their ideology of wealth redistribution? Raising taxes doesn't necessarily raise revenues because it penalizes the same activities generate the current tax revenues. Remember the image of the donkey and the carrot?
