I think the main point is to point out 2 humanity hypocrisy. Everyone disobeys the bible in MANY ways. It’s okay to drink alcohol yet not okay to smoke cannabis (marijuana) which is advocated in the bible, read genesis - it’s an HERB BEARING SEED. Never touched by man & the annual deaths from it every year is ZERO! Not advocating anything be made illegal, not want to tell others what they cannot do, just why make marijuana illegal. Why cant I take medicine that works?
