Lol, on my last winter vacation, there was this moment where I was bored as hell, and I borrowed this game from my friend, and I beat it by playing it non-stop for about 5 or 6 hours! xD It's an amazing game, and the control is really smooth, and I like the way they kept the same ''run and press the opposite direction and press A'' jump, it kicks so much ass! 5/5

Mario Vs. Donkey Kong was originally a remake of this game called Donkey Kong Plus with some new features and such. However, they turned it into its own game, but kept some things from the original.

Not exactly. The mushrooms that shrink Mario are poison mushrooms. The mushrooms that make Mario large are Super mushrooms. DK just landed in a pit full of super mushrroms, which is why he got so large.

One thing i NEVER understood: What is the meaning of the mushrooms flying around before Donkey Kong gets so big. These mushrooms make Mario small inside the game. Ok - so he throws mushrooms that make him small away and gets bigger? Why is he carrying them arround then? I never understood what the Game Programmers thought when designing it.

if you watched the end you would have notice that the mushroom the pauline gives mario makes him big instead of small (the backronud there also suggests that the end is actually the biginniing of SMB

Then how come it's Mario saving Princess Peach from Bowser rather then DK Jr. saving Donkey Kong from Mario & Pauline? Donkey Kong GB is most likely what happened between the original arcade game and DK Jr.
