  • Destroy Socialism: get rid of the USPS and Public Libraries and Public Schools and privatize the highway, police, and fire companies, no state hospitals, no more government funding for military medial care (VA) and discharge all US military servicemen and replace them with Wackenhut and Blackwater, no Ambulance rides to the hospital unless your FICO score has been checked and the necesary adjustments have been made to your account. C'mon people, you think we havn't already been socialist?

  • these guys are spending the millions they deny the sick on fighting a choice for nationalized healthcare...why? except they are so afraid they will be put out of business if americans prefer nationalized healthcare.

  • huge and expanded profits for the health insurance companies and the drug companies while continuing this pay-or-die system that has plagued this country for decades, a system that takes 20,000 lives a year, according to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. Thats about fifty to sixty people who die every day. OR nationalized healthcare where the CEO and his greed are cut out of the equation.

  • So,... obama says he doesn't want the govt to run health care. . . now can someone tell me WHY he needs a civilian military which is "just as well funded" and "just as strong' as our military? please, can someone tell me??

  • People Bitched when Obama said this was not a Christian Nation.. but he was right. If we were a Christian Nation we would have no problem helping the sick and the poor. We especially would not use money (the root of all evil) as the excuse. Perhaps this is a test to see how wicked we really are. I imagine Jesus is disgusted. We really should remove God's name from everything and stop pretending we are something that we clearly are not.

  • Maybe we should stop butchering millions of children first.

  • When you guys come up with a plan as to what you will do with all of the unwanted babies it will be worth talking about. The system for unwanted children has been a proven failure and is overcrowded and underfunded not to mention abusive. That needs to be fixed before you add to it. You also need to consider how they will be paid for. Adoption is not the answer as the supply will outweigh the demand.

  • Your right. Murdering unwanted people is a much better answer. Any time a program is overcrowded and underfunded killing people is the best answer. Hey, just like your Health Plan.

  • So what is your plan? How do intend to pay for all the kids? Don't you think there should be a plan ahead of time? You guys always have these half baked ideas that you put zero thought into which is one reason why you don't accomplish much.

  • Yesterday they said they have no intentions of doing any such thing... which I thought was a little odd. The reason why I care is because that is what we pay them for. If something is not right then it is their job to come up with an opposition instead of just sitting around complaining about it. All you have to do is visit my profile and you will see that my finger is pointed at the dems who are standing in the way of this.

  • I did say you lied.. but not the other neither here nor there though... I have looked a looked for the plan you say is out there.. and have yet to find anything except for tons of videos where they themselves say they have no plan. Let me ask you this.. if they did have a plan then why not share it when asked instead of saying they don't have one? I don't get what the strategy is there.

  • I have not seen any bill proposed by the republican party regarding health care. I have seen several people ask them what their plan is.. and they are always dumb founded and have nothing.. so what's up with that? Why not share their plan with us all when they have the chance? You are obviously more familiar. Please tell me what the republican health care plan consists of.. As far as the rest of your comment goes. I am not interested in getting into an insult war with you.

  • I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with me.. In fact you don't even know for sure what I personally think.. regardless I do have a problem with anyone who discourages people from thinking for themselves by using scare tactics like your whole rant towards the end of your previous comment. There are lots of studies and they are all saying different things. Perhaps you should really be mad at the Republican party for not bothering to come up with an alternative.

  • If you don't like it then when it passes by all means stick with your current plan... but don't deny the people who have fallen on hard times due to no fault of their own to have coverage if they choose to. Most of what you said in your comment is speculation and you should be ashamed of yourself for telling such bold faced lies... My grandparents thought it was pretty crappy when they lost everything even though they had insurance so I know all about crappy.

  • According to one poll after another, a majority of Americans not only want a public option in health care, they also think that growing inequality is bad for the country, that corporations have too much power over policy, that money in politics is the root of all evil, and that working families and poor communities need and deserve public support when the market fails to generate shared prosperity.

  • and with this statement, I concur that 0+0=0. In other words, this leads us nowhere. now what?

  • The government has a horrible record for successful programs. No record, actually. They've all failed! Including the bankrupt postal service, social security, welfare, public education, etc. Seriously, and now you want government to run a HUGE healthcare program (because the healthcare programs they have in place now work so well *sarcasm*)!?!? LOL

The government should worry about fixing the failed programs they have rather than creating even larger problematic programs.

  • I agree. FIX the current healthcare that they screwed up to begin with. Don't create more problems! You thought there was a nursing shortage now...bring socialized medicine on and when you're hospitalized, ring for your nurse to empty your bedpan or bring you pain medications. See how fast they come with more patients...and less pay. See if they come at all. Good luck people. I feel sorry for us. This is bad. Very very bad.

  • The USA has the ... "BEST SPECIALISTS" ... but our Health Care System stinks and is ranked as the Low 37th on a World Scale !! It's like saying "THE USA WON THE MOST GOLD MEDALS IN THE OLYMPICS ... SO THE ENTIRE AMERICAN POPULATION IS MADE OF TOP ATHLETES !! When in reality we have an overweight & sick ...(cancer~heart diseases~diabetic)... population, compared to other nations. Don't buy into the Right-Wing propaganda. Visit my profile for ways in which you can contact your representatives.

  • Make more!

  • This is clever. More please.

  • MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN---PRIVATE & PUBLIC---HEALTH CARE:

    PRIVATE:

Places the INSURANCE COMPANY between YOU & YOUR DOCTOR. The Insurance Company DECIDES what treatment they'll authorize & pay for, or what claim they'll deny & cancel the policy.

    PUBLIC:

Your DOCTOR is the one WHO DECIDES what treatment YOU require. NO profit involved. NO more red tape. NO begging with Insurance Co. for approval.

All SENATORS have a GOVERNMENT run PUBLIC PLAN !!

  • When you have to wait a year for a life saving procedure, tell me what you think about government health care.

Anyone who thinks government run organizations are a good idea should spend one day at the DMV and one day at the post office. Note how "efficient" and "friendly" these organizations are and then tell me that you would want your doctors and nurses to behave the same way.

  • As an ex military wife I have been lucky enough to have had the experience of government health care and let me tell you it was far better than anything I have experienced in the civilian health care field.

  • I can say the same for my private insurance. It is the best and far better than any other healthcare or military coverage anywhere. We have plently of nurses married to military men and women that complain about the mistreatment and undiagnosed disasters the military hospitals have done to them and to family members. I'm glad your experiences went well. But that doesn't speak for everyone.

  • You are amongst the lucky and if your private health insurance is wonderful then by all means keep it. I think it all depends on where one lives. Here in Missouri health care is horrible.. even with insurance you can pretty much count on seeing at least 3 Doctors before ever getting a diagnosis. It is ridiculous. It is almost as if the doctors pass you around so that everyone can get in on the action. I like the idea of doctors being rated on quality of care instead of quantity of patients.

  • I agree.

  • Take it from me, as a nurse, the doctors are already talking about more patients and less pay. This means with more patients, less quality time spent patients. More wait time for special procedures, surgeries...The gov has a bad track record managing healthcare. How is it going to be different now? I agree with bpsmith. You guys think that socialized medicine is the answer. You have no idea.

  • In Missouri the DMV is a cake walk. I have never spent more than 15 mins in line for anything I have had to take care of there.. However I have lived elsewhere and have had to wait as long as 3 hours.. but that was because there were so many people there and it was the end of the month.

  • We need more of these!

  • "That hurt my neck." Hilarious

  • these are brilliant. great work all around!

  • I'm 45, healthy, and can't afford to pay for health care (and still eat, have a home and a car). $400 a month?!

  • I love the return of that Iranian chick from Lee's old videos!!!! SHE SHOULD BE IN MORE OF THESE!!!

  • "3 to 65 business days."

  • Socialist Beaurocrat!

  • Okay the pigeons made me laugh.

  • Me too. :)

  • Love this video!

  • Is it reasonable to include immigrants if we admit to creating the plight of Mexicans who lost their homes, lands, jobs because with NAFTA, we dumped corn into their market at prices less than it cost them to grow it? Is it reasonable to help other human beings in our country working their butts off for a minimal standard of living, who, with the rest of us who actually do a day's work, all subsidize the corporate wealthy?

--uniformed, no, MSM programmed sympathies. What they want you to say.

  • Is it reasonable to include immigrants? Include them in what?

Mexicans lost their homes, lands, jobs because of NAFTA? Never heard of this theory?

Dumped cheap corn into their market? Government complex conspiracy?

MSM programmed sympathies? What is MSM? Methylsulfonylmethane?

Your reply was a little disjointed and confusing. Id like to rely but youre point is unclear and your accusations are vague.

  • Illegal immigrants for the most part come to the US to work. They pay taxes and generally don't use services, to stay under the radar. "Illegal immigrants that will live off of it" does not make sense, however comforting to the old xenophobic gland it may be.

  • Oh my fucking god!!! A COUNTRY THAT HAS NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE HAS PEOPLE SPEAKING DIFFERENT LANGUAGES!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!

    Mierda de cerebros.

  • Who plays the hot astronaut?

  • That astronaut is dreamy! I'd do him!!!

  • what is this thing about the astronaut? How can he be 'hot' if you can't see his face and he's wearing a puffy silver suit?

am I missing something? inside joke? hey, is that you astronaut?!
