@TheAnak74 maybe KOSTRAD is not an anti terror unit,but at least they have the same ability as KOPASSUS. in the begining kostrad was formed based on some of military operation in west papua. TNI need a unit with fast deployment in large scale(kopassus can't do that with their amount). just because lot of mission did very well by kopassus in Timor timor then they adopted the same training from kopassus. need to you know RAIDER from kostrad was special unit and they have anti terror unit too

I'm not to sure if u all can recall an incident back during the Emergency, whereby a whole platoon from one of the SIR units was being massacred by INDO Commando's with only their parang at the Peninsula of Malaysia. That shows how tactical they can be. Just bcoz our country have alot of weapons and train their soldiers well, it does not mean that you can fuck around with other nations.Indo and Malaysian Soldiers are regulars and not conscripts,they have alot of experience. .

Im was in the SAF and apart from a few hardcore commandos in INDO and M'sia, you guys pretty much have nothing. From what i hear you guys have a few rusty helicopters and share assault rifles let alone are equipped to assault at night. Each one of our units are fully equipped. It is impossible to take singapore in 24 hours. the invading force will be drawn into deadly street fighting and we have a 300,000 strong reservist force.

The enemy amphibious force will have to first get through our navy of stealth frigates and submarines. On ground we have more logistics support, there is a limit to how many man u can land on a beach, just pray they dont get pushed back into the ocean.
