Does anyone know if this whole show was recorded? I've been looking for it for ages and I, nor anyone I know can find it. I mean if they got this far into the show than a complete recording must be somewhere.
@doomgurumedia The audio is available on boot. I was at this show. Still the best concert I have attended. To those who said "if you were remember then you weren't there" can shut the fuck up! I was there and I remember it as it were yesterday. MTV filmed both nights. I remember I saw Pink Floyd nearly three weeks after I saw Rush and people ask me if I attended my senior prom, I said "Hell no, I went to Rush and then Pink Floyd instead".
@SuperMtndewfreak I think it was this show, since I think you can see that rainy mist in some of the shots of this video. I was there that same night! ...You can say the rain sucked, but I think it totally made the laser show that much better. Freezing, but definitely worth it.
i don't know what day it was but the day i went it was colder than a well diggers ass and raining the only releif from the cold rain was the flame that shot from the barrals which lasted only 30 secs then i was cold again but i loved the concert pinkfloyd is one of the best bands in my books
Well spotted. In that one, you even get to see him transition from the percussion to behind the kit - never seen that before in their concert footage! Try Knebworth 1990 for the ultimate Sorrow though.
For me, the session players like Wallis and Guy Pratt are the icing on this exquisite cake, adding dynamics and a real drive that many of the studio tracks cannot match.
Yeah I really liked the sorrow from knebworth '90 a lot until I found the kansas city version. I think even the pulse DVD sounds way better than the CD. But these rare ones are what really do it for me.
It was 15 years since this show took place. This Pink Floyd show is still today the greatest show I've ever been to (and would ever go to). Watching this clip brings me back to that magical night of May 19, 1994 when I was in section 307 at Foxboro Stadium in Foxboro, MA enjoying the show with my older brother and his buddy and my best friend as the lone straight edge PF fans there who weren't smoking nor drinking (despite the potheads there just to get high and drunks who went to get drunk).
wow we were there too my friend section 321,l have my ticket on under the table glass, was wed, cold ,rain? dont remember, but we got the tickets outside the stadium, the best show that a human can ever attend....
Thursday night May 19, 1994. I was there. It was a cool, rainy night (it threatened more rain but didn't to my recollection). I got the tickets that February (my dad drove my older brother and my best friend (whom both had wrist bands for ticket guarantees) drove in a snowstorm to the Orpheum Theater to buy tickets). You were absolutely right, the show kicked serious ass (this and Genesis in 2007 are my two favorite concerts I went to). I was in section 307.
This show still remains the absolute best stadium show I ever attended (was my third show I went to in my life after seeing The Who in Foxboro in '89 and Rush a few weeks before Floyd in Providence on 5/1/94). I was at this show filmed on 5/19/94 (I was one of few people there not on drugs/alcohol etc as I detest drugs but I LOVE PF). In fact, I forfeited a night's sleep and a decent grade on my English final exam in High School my senior year 1993/94 for this concert, BUT WELL WORTH IT!
I had the chance for free tickets to see this tour when it came through Cleveland Ohio in 1994 and past them up. I don't know what I was thinking. :-(
Yup. This show was at Foxboro Stadium on 19th May 1994.
The set was this
Set One : Astronomie Domine, Learning To Fly, What Do You Want From Me, On The Turning Away, Take It Back, Poles Apart, Sorrow, Keep Talking, One Of These Days
Set Two : Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Breathe, Time, High Hopes, Great Gig In The Sky, Wish You Were Here, Us & Them, Money, Another Brick In The Wall Part 2, Comfortably Numb
Ther is no other act on earth that has ever been nor probably ever will be, in the same league as floyd. It's a damn shame roger and dace won't settle the rift and continue to play these amazing sets before it's too late, fair enough they graced the stage for live 8 but it's just not enough :(

These clips are amazing...bring back awesome memories...I was at the show on July 1 in Winnipeg and was wondering if there are any clips known to exist from any Canadian dates. I have the audio but would kill for a glimpse at a video.
Thanks for this. Amazing. Where did you get this vid? i thought for sure that all we had was Pulse in the loop. All we need to do is to make sure we keep talking. - Steven Hawking

But guitar solo (and synth solo too) totally sucks compared to official video...

This song on Pulse tour video is really amazing.

THE. BEST. VERSION.
Blows the official Pulse CD/DVD cuts away. Deeply atmospheric chords give way to acceleration and sublime solos.
Gary Wallis on the splash symbols at 3:30...WOWZER!

@jandow
That's why I always watch this one. If you look up sorrow live in kansas, gary has a better pattern of symbols before each verse.
