@48perkins It is a 1984 Nissan Pulsar N12 hatchback, directly related to the N12 Pulsar NX which is a model you may know a bit better. The NX was available in the U.S. for a short while (I think it was during 1983-1984), sold badly so they discontinued.
In Europe we didn't get the NX but we got the hatchback, which is what you're looking at here. Over here it is called 'Cherry' but everywhere else in the world (Australia, Japan, etc.) it is called 'Pulsar', I prefer that name over 'Cherry'.
@48perkins It is currently running a carburated 1.5-liter engine, but I have a stock 1.5-liter turbo engine buildup in progress (from pieces!). That engine has the same block and pistons but shorter rods (lower comp.), electronic fuel injection, different gearbox and flywheel, and a turbo (obviously). I'm building it to stock specs first, since that is a reliable setup and the easiest way to build a working engine (as this is the second engine conversion project I've ever done).
XD
