Well.... I wonder if this person preparing the tea drank it with scones, crumpets, or biscuits with marmalade and jams? That is the proper way to drink English tea!
To dazzledog6: Being that the tea bag was invented in America in 1904 at the very least, I would think that any American would know something about how to prepare tea.
Tea was imported to the Uk first in 1660,i think you are slightly in the eighteenth century. That is the typical american view of britain,Tea at four o,clock-haha,how times change.
I use an old fashioned "whistling" stove top kettle, but the REALLY important habit is to use a teapot and let the tea brew, mash, steep(whatever you want to call it)to get the full flavour.
Very nice.
Why yes, I don't mind if I do.

Tea bags are an abomination.Where's the tea pot-time to brew properly.

Most of you people anymore use electric kettles over stove top kettles. The water will not boil as piping hot as it would on a stove.
I'll stick with my morning cup of joe out of the Folger's can.

I need a tea pot... tea is not nearly as nice without it

True ! Loose leaf tea,well brewed in a pot. It's not a treat,it's a basic liquid requirement!

is this a parody?
You can't enjoy tea fully from a bag, and adding the milk last is just wrong.
Nice choonage though
