my father has small cell lung cancer, it has already gone to his brain, thats how we found it.... we are going to a cancer center this week.

My mother passed away from lung cancer when I was 16. I'm 23 now. She was a smoker, and not even fourty when she died. I was a baby who needed her mother; her best friend. While she was sick, I distanced myself from her as if I knew she would die, though I never believed it. I miss her and regret not spending every moment with her. I was with her when she died. Her last words to me the day she died was, "I'll miss you". I miss her more than anything.

Keep strong love. Your mother is so proud.

Heartrending. All tobacco company CEO's and executives should have to watch this video and then talk to you about your Mom and your loss. I can't get over the fact that people buy stock in tobacco companies. I would so much rather invest in human beauty and creativity than in destruction. We have to think of new ways and new systems in this world - ones that honor and nurture beauty rather than destroy it.
