My favorite part of the song is when that drum starts going double-time at 2:46. This is one of the remixes I was the most happy about, and when I heard it in a preview, it was the deciding point of whether I was going to buy the game or not. This theme means almost as much to Sonic fans as Live and Learn, and for good reason. I'm glad they played to its strengths in terms of instrument selection to make this fight just that much more epic.
