please update this video and put that gorgeous lens into good use, you're a lucky guy to own that lens but it's way better to shoot w/ it ;) nice audio on the background btw
can i use this lens to shoot across the street?? there's this freakin HOT milf that lives in an apartment... and i need a lens good enough for nature....i like to take pictures of flying birds.. the milf thing i brought it up just to mention it...haa haaa
If you would spend more time with those girls that with the cameras then you could undo those bras a little easier lol. Just kidding, man. Awesome lens!
ya i love my 70-200 2.8 ii for sports on my 7d paired with 8fps and the ability to keep up with the ai servo its a great pair. to think about it i love my 70-200 for alot of things lol. but the 400 2.8 and the 70-200 is what most pro's have all the time and the 400 can isolate a subject like no other.
@jmelnik00 the 2x Extender costs you 2EV (f-stops). That means you loose 400% of light compared to a f/2.8-lens. You can compensate this through 2 (full) ISO setps up. I used the 2x Extender quite often with the 70-200, the AF-speed decreases a bit but you can really work it it.
8,000$ someday later when I get older and make shooting sports my job :). Right now ill stick with my 70-200 2.8L for high school sports lol. Be a dream to have the 400 :)
@Problembaer4 I have to agree. A 70-200/2.8 and 7D makes an awsome sports combo. The 400 on a crop body is often way too close. I see pros with the 400 + 1D and a 70-200 with a 2nd 1D all the time.
the new 400 has better image quility i think and a better and newer IS plus the new coating on the lens to stop scratching. ether way awsome lens i could only dream at this point lol but i did get my 70-200 version 2
@Irukandji01 u get it by now and or both of you you lucky bastards im only 13 and legaly cant get a job so just to get the canon reel t3 has took about year and a half so as you can see this is far from my future but still again you lucky bastards
Oh my goodness gracious. You must be rich

Is there a site where we can see your photos?

Let's try to put a UV-filter on top of that front element >:D
JesusWasNotHere 3 months ago
@JesusWasNotHere you can use so-called "drop-in" filters. They are inserted directly into the lens, like the "Canon PL-C 52" (circular polarizer).

@Problembaer4 Does it have zoom ?
fuzzymonkey79 3 months ago
@fuzzymonkey79 no, its a fixed focal length. You can use Extender to gain 560/4 or 800/5,6.

@DanKPhotography the 70-200/2.8 is great for sports photography too. And it's a bit more flexible than the 400/2.8
Problembaer4 6 months ago
@Problembaer4 Yeah it is a fantastic lens for sports. But on so many occasions im stretching for those extra focal lengths.
