the reason i listen to jason ellis show is because he's the only one that talks about every day things that is on our minds all the time as human beings. he inspires people all the time through his words.
whereas bubba and howard stern just talk about politics and hollywood stuff and their career.
jason ellis can relate everything he talks about to everyone

Rating were bad in Florida and since Bubba is big here in Tampa he grabbed him for his 101 (or NOTHING as Howard calls it) channel. I love Howard, but it's tough to listen to Bubba afterwards since he mostly talks about the Stern show after (now in a good way, haha).

No, they're not. Howard and Bubba are both phonies.
Nothing changed between this clip, where Howard is ripping apart specific parts of his show and pointing out what hacky garbage his schtick is, and now. Absolutely nothing. The only thing that changed was that Howard suddenly had to fill 48 hours of programming a day and Bubba was a recently blackballed "shock jock" (YUCK) who would work for next to nothing. Howard still doesn't like Bubba, same with Bubba to Howard, but they're phonies.

I tried to listen to O&A on 94 WYSP in Philly. It was a complete borefest, and I found it interesting how they had "wack packers" call in (they call them something only slightly different, yet another lame rip-off of Stern). I was going to give them another chance when Stern was on vacation, but they were already pulled off the air for posting a 1 share, or something. O&A lose in every market. The only time they had success was when they had Stern as a lead-in. They got beat by Woopie Goldberg!

I love Opie and Anthony fans. O&A got beat by Woopie Goldberg, got dropped by all the Stern markets that were-undeservedly-handed to them on a silver platter, and failed miserably to generate any subscribers on XM. Yet O&A fans continue to talk about them as if they are actually still significant in radio. They're only hope, at this point, is to kiss Howard's ass and get some sort of cross-promotion from the merger. They got killed by Preson & Steve in Philly and disappeared. Losers!

I love how Grandma Howie's fans trash O&A, even though 99.9% of them probably never even listened to them. And I also love how Grandma Howie calls herself the Queen of all media, even though the media hasn't even mentioned her since her last K-Rock show. I grew up in NYC. Obviously, for years, he was the biggest thing in morning radio in NYC. I listened to him for years, up until O&A came to WNEW. I never laughed at Howard Stern. He does the same thing every fuckin day. He interviews some airhead stripper, and he obsesses over if Nicole Bass has a penis or not.

I'm A Brit and got into Stern first - Since then, I have moved on Stern hasn't - I prefer O&A and Bubba.
Don't get me wrong Howard is better than any English radio. But O&A and Bubba do the job better nowadays.
