  • We have a farrells in oahu and whenever i go there i feel like i never wanna leave

  • Love your channel! You look amazing! What you do is really fantastic! Let's stay in touch. Check me out sometimes too!

  • According to another video, The Zoo weighed 2 pounds more in the 70s and for some reason I remember it coming with little plastic animals and not animal crackers....

  • Come back to Sacramento.

We used to have 3 or 4 of them.

    Can't believe it's gone....

    BRING IT BACK TO SACRAMENTO!

  • If we ever got a Farrell's here in Springfield, IL, I doubt I'd ever leave. I'd have to have at least two pig troughs.

  • farrells in the stone wood shoping center i had my 8th birthday the best memories ...downey calif mid 70s

  • I ate a pikes peak back when I was 12 it was 33 scoops back then. I have no idea how big it is now. Even if it exists

  • The Farrell memories are the best. We had one at Cerritos Mall in California and I loved it when someone was having a group party and they ordered the Zoo. Its a shame they can't have the little plastic animal in it anymore but if they can keep all the other traditions kids nowadays will get to have similar memories in the future!

  • I'm kinda thinkin this might be a really old food network brodcast - from back when there were still a few holding on... - before they all closed. Because it doesn't look like the pilot one they opened in Cali. - see the "Farrells is Back" series of videos here. - I also noticed in this clip - they claimed the ZOO was 6 lbs of ice cream - while the new pilot location is advertising it as the original 8 lbs!!! - they also talk about the original plastic animals and the new ones they'll be using.

  • I remember Farrells ice cream when I a lil kid! I used to take my GF Lisa Ball on her Birthday. It was at the Montclair Mall in California.. Great Place.

  • pigs trough was my favorite!!

Lisa Ball lived in San Dimas in the mid 70's then moved to Laverne CA. I wish I could find her.

  • Mission Vejio Mall is where one is opening!

  • I agree, the ZOO from my childhood was much, much bigger- and that's not because I was a smaller person. My husband (who is just 4 years older than me), also agreed that the ZOO is now much smaller than before. The ZOO also used to have a slew of clear plastic colored animals stuck all over it, too. I kept the animals as a souvenir from my birthday party at Farrell's for a long time.

  • This is way dfferent from the ZOO I got on my birthday from Farrell's way back in the day. The one I got had a scoop of EVERY FLAVOR THEY HAD!!! Back then it also was a LOT bigger!!
