i have had a patient say that he watched from the ceiling as doctors operated on his unconscious body ...

i have also read of a near death experience where the person actually calls the darkness, stillness, and complete peacefulness he found himself in, "the valley of the shadow of death."

i can see how someone would want to be in such a place. hope people don't get any ideas, though. i, for one, will wait until my time comes. no need to speed things along.
