Vergil is the best and he should have been in DMC4 in my opinion but its a good game none the less and dmc 3 is my favorite came only because of vergil
actually there is no swordmaster in the darkslayer, NONE all it is is the teleportation of trickster, but you know how vergil one ups dante, HE DOES IT AT THE START also the only reason Dante is in DMC4 he's the main character, it could have just as easilly been vergil, if your going to try to sell your character at least have better points then that man.
I think that they should make a DMC game that revolves around Vergil because Dante was the main guy for three and a half games so Vergil deserves to get some games to himself and about himself. Just like we need to get a game about Sparda and Eva, we all know they were just as kickass as their kids. Hell they learned from the best.

Look its not the arm that belongs to vergil.heres what i think.After Vergil was destroyed in DMC1 he sealed his soul inside yamato.the Big Ass sword Nelo Angelo/Vergil was using in DMC1 was Actualy the yamato but in its true form,kinda like Force edges true form.when vergil was destroyed in DMC1 his sword broke over the explosion but his soul still remained in his sword.that would be the reason it was in half in DMC4.
Nero isn't old enough to be the rebirth of vergil anyways, and their personalities and fighting styles are not really alike at all, Vergil wasn't a physical fighting he LOVED using his swords take vergils swords and he's going to find a weapon before he uses his hands

Actually if you read the game handbook for DMC4 it gives a hint to how Nero ended up like that in the first place. Apparantly his right shoulder was infected in a battle.
It seems most likely that Vergil's spirit infected Nero...namely through his arm. It's also influencing him slightly, hence the voice in his head and his "Devil Trigger".

actually Dante DID die, watch his eyes you'll see most of the color bleed out, but he came back to life because as vergil see "I see a devil has awakened in you as well" meaning that Dante started accessing latent devil powers, now Vergil already accessed devil trigger so that wouldn't exactly save him, but it's not likely he'd just keel over

First I completely agree that we need more Vergil in the DMC series, fuck Capcom and their hero code. Second, Yamato is meant for power and speed not combos, were it the case, Vergil won't have the same popularity as now. Anyway, Yamato is a powerful sword, so we love it that way.
If they put him in the next game I hope it's Vergil's journey from DMC3 to DMC1 and beyond to set Vergil's return for DMC6.And play as Nelo Angelo because that armor kicks ass!
True, I completely agree. You should recall what he said to Dante after Mission 7 : "Might controls everything, and without strenght you cannot protect anything, let alone yourself !" I think that Vergil is power-hungry for the sole purpose that he didn't want to relive that moment of weakness he had when his mother died. And I think that he actually cares about Dante, although I hate to admit it. Vergil owns hell !
if u are in my case no it isnt because i had earned every last thing for vergil beaten every mode and it got deleted i was devestated until i found the cheat it helped me get it all back well most of it.
oh and also if u have special edition hold L1 L2 R1 R2 press and hold down on cursor down left and on analog stick inbetween up and right and press down on stick if entered correctly u will here a voice say devil may cry. it unlocks all modes and costumes for both characters!!!

Counting too that hes stuck to 3 melee weapon + 1 ranged weapon against Dante's 5 Melee + 5 ranged.
The point is that most of the weapon are used just to break the sculptures and get the blue fragments,then you can forget some.

Actually if you read the game handbook for DMC4 it gives a hint to how Nero ended up like that in the first place. Apparantly his right shoulder was infected in a battle.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that Nero IS actually Vergil... That's why i want DMC5 most of all just to clear up this mess ^_^

There are certainly ties between Nero and Vergil.
It seems most likely that Vergil's spirit infected Nero...namely through his arm. It's also influencing him slightly, hence the voice in his head and his "Devil Trigger".

Ahhhh just living in hope eh guys? Just like me! I think when they used him DMC3 they didn't realise he'd be SOOOO POPULAR! However, they'd already closed the door for future appearances. Bad cos we probably won't get to see him again against any decent enemies and good because now they can't mess him up in future installments. Vergil=Greatest baddie of all time

actually Dante DID die, watch his eyes you'll see most of the color bleed out, but he came back to life because as vergil see "I see a devil has awakened in you as well" meaning that Dante started accessing latent devil powers, now Vergil already accessed devil trigger so that wouldn't exactly save him, but it's not likely he'd just keel over

First I completely agree that we need more Vergil in the DMC series, fuck Capcom and their hero code. Second, Yamato is meant for power and speed not combos, were it the case, Vergil won't have the same popularity as now. Anyway, Yamato is a powerful sword, so we love it that way.

True, I completely agree. You should recall what he said to Dante after Mission 7 : "Might controls everything, and without strenght you cannot protect anything, let alone yourself !" I think that Vergil is power-hungry for the sole purpose that he didn't want to relive that moment of weakness he had when his mother died. And I think that he actually cares about Dante, although I hate to admit it. Vergil owns hell !

oh and also if u have special edition hold L1 L2 R1 R2 press and hold down on cursor down left and on analog stick inbetween up and right and press down on stick if entered correctly u will here a voice say devil may cry. it unlocks all modes and costumes for both characters!!!

oh yea on mission 19 when vergil saves/helps dante and u team up with him u can plug in
2nd controller and press start and their will be two players
NOTE: its hard to tell if its activated cause it takes a few attempts but try moving vergil and you will know P.S it works on both editions
