I LOVE Joan Baez' rendering of this Renaissance song. I am 53 and it has the same magical effect on me (as 3 year old!)

I also wish it was done slower. It is a solemn mystery carol. Minor key. Doesn't seem to fit with the "dancey" tempo. Her voice is so beautiful though!

My son when he was not quite 3 made me play this song over & over & over again as he sat there & listened to it. My wound up son; just as calm as can be. This is my most favorite Christmas album EVER. Mom raised me on it.
