  • I feel great eating cooked food as well as raw food. This is pure bs. I eat tofu and beans and I don't suffer intolerably like Durian suggests he would

  • Whatever anyone comments it does not mean shit... But I will add my own... I like Harley but let's not focus all our lives on bloody enzymes. If you eat rubbish then yeah you might die early - if your really healthy you might live longer. might, might, might. Just live your life, accept your own consequences and responsibilities. Then do what you want - count enzymes and you might live longer. don't and you might won't.

  • I mean like peaches and kiwi

  • Cant stand bananas... But I can raid the fuzzy fruits buahaha

  • This should be called Why I won't go back to cooked food. Wonderful!

  • Absolutely mate!

People always just make out digestive problems are down to the person's problems, but they're nearly ALL, ALL caused by our diets. The Western diet has the potential to destroy our digestive tract (as I discovered) and then that leads to the rest of our bodies breaking down.

    Sucks...

  • How natural is to eat 20 bananas and 15 oranges for dinner? There are many lives lost in the mono-cultures that produce those fruits and that's whether you see it happen or just see the little shinny fruits on your table. Animal fat is what got us here. Going back to cooked food does not mean you are going to support the industries you talk about, there are alternatives. No diatribes but you seem to be in need of some nourishing animal fat. Eat liver instead of 40 bananas a day and you'll see.

  • @informationgnrtr

Animal fat is what got us here?

Sorry, your 18th century philosophies are a few centuries old.

  • @rygu79 we evolved as omnivores....

  • i would puke from all those tomatos hehe :P i dont like tomatos to much

  • @DarlingKaya : I'd puke from eating 20 bananas a day!

  • I love you! Completely and fully!

  • Do you drink alcohol?

  • @sharniticus Not since 2001. Not a drop. I eat enough carbs so my body doesnt crave carbs from booze. You booze, you lose.

  • do you eat nuts? like will you ever mix nuts into a salad? im already vegan and im very inspired by you so im turing raw vegan, dominantly eating fruit. so i was wondering if you eat raw unsalted nuts or no?

  • @hanah167 He only eats nuts a few times a year when they grow on tree's near him. He only consumes 10% of his calories from fat.

  • AMEN

  • grt clip

  • Very inspirational. Love it. And a very good wake up call for many.

  • damn straight brother

  • And what long term study says that??Is that the same long term study that says eating raw food for many years causes tons of problems in a human body.

  • @cbrun67176 these studies were done on anorexic raw fooders.

  • And in the end you will still drop like all humans.Life is to short enjoy it

  • yeah but you might as well wait till you're a lot older to eat garbage so you're not suffering the other 70 years.

  • Food never made anyone happy.

What I see in the world is a bunch of people NOT enjoying life. I AM......and a healthy, light diet with a huge variety of tasty fruit is one of the reasons.

Until I drop, I'll be content, knowing I wont have a heart attack, etc, etc, or worry about health-coverage, or spending my retirement in a rocking chair.

  • Honestly?!

    lol

I have been a vegan for almost 3 years now and all my cuts heal perfectly!

Something else must be wrong with you!

  • BRAVO for the video!!!

  • Anyhow, I'm just reciting what my various friends tell me. It's all up to you to figure it out as I don't like telling people what to do. lol

It just seems quite fascinating to explore what they talk about anyhow, especially when I'm not raw...but I totally relate for some reason. Might be something for me to explore and try also

  • No, seriously. If I did leave something vital out of my raw food diet, it would be FATS. The question would be if vegetable coconut oil could substitute animal fats for a longer period of time. Would it work just as good or would I eventually develope depletion or deficiencies? God knows...

  • hmm, I've talked with some raw foodies just recently. they had thoughts on this one too.

from the looks of it, to be free from the need of so much fats...they recommend an inner cleanse of sorts.. ("detox" they call it?). Then minimal fats would be needed from what it looks.

But sometimes previous non-raw diets may affect the current outcome of going raw, hence one needs to "heal the scars of the past" beforehand.

  • aye, another thing to note is...that I noticed some people who tried to go 811 or raw vegan, got way too worried about fats, had a HUGE intake of them, along with lots of fruits; suffered candida at the end, yet without realizing it. That's where they called it quits.

Oh, and the need to eat so much is reduced after the "cleansing preparations" and eating 811 or raw vegan. So I would assume here that "whatever you eat is retained a long time."

    Ah, such an interesting topic....

  • esdeu, you experienced what most do: depletion. sweet fruits are extremly high in carbs, sugars. Some people say that you detox but one cannot detox for ages...and fats. I saved my health introducing ANIMAL fats. No more depressio, heart palputations, no more binge eating. The brain is made of appr. 60% cholesterol and fats. saturated fats. My stamina is ecxellent and I have a very sound heart beat(thank you God!). Never exclude fats from your diet. it can save your life. Peace!

  • well, when going fruitarian or raw vegan, were you following those idiotic "gurus?"

If so, they're not even the real deal if you ask me. I mean cacao powder, goji berries, and all that weird marketing crap; it's no wonder self proclaimed "raw vegans" that follow such designated gurus, get sick.

Now the raw vegans that are independant from such bunk...they're doing great if you ask me.

  • were you following those "fake" raw vegans that time?

David Wolfe and those other people advertising their "cacao powder, goji berries, seaweed" and all that weird stuff?

It might be no wonder why raw vegans get sick, if they follow such "gurus," just as I experience

Independant raw vegans I know of, do great. None of those who ain't the real deal like Wolfe.

  • That's like saying: to have good eyesight, you need to eat eyeballs.

  • Hi Gary. LOL :-)

  • Just put it in a plate and eat it. Liveit

  • Raw organic vegan fruits are on my plate tonight :)

    PEACE !!!

  • One advantage of raw vegan no one ever talks about is the Huge amounts of food. You can practically eat to your hearts content!

  • @Sepero1 You also have to stuff yourself with food or you'd be anorexic! Yay!

  • low fat raw vegan is the way to go with at least 3000cals a day and an athletic lifestyle with plenty of rest sleep, sun, water, fun and emotional poise...

people try and live on olive oil, salt and kale dehydrated kale leaves and then blame raw veganism when they hit that eventual wall...

  • @durianriders I love ur videos. Do u eat avocados? What do u eat to get ur needs of fat?

  • @rey777777 get fat from fruits and sometimes avo/nuts/seeds. but very minimal fat.

  • @durianriders Where do u get all calories. I did something similar but had hard time finding calories.

  • @typeclash watch my other videos!

I eat lots of bananas/dates and am kick'n ass on the bike.

  • I've experimented with various healing diets over the years including a raw fruitarian diet that this fellow apparently follows. I gave it a solid try and it depleted my body. For sure it is better than the standard american cooked food diet. However, be cautious about preaching the gospil of this diet as the cure all and ideal diet for all man kind.

  • It's something you have to slowly adjust to. Your body was detoxing. The depletion was of fat, water and toxins.

  • Very inspiring. Thanks a lot. I want to go 100% fruitarian-raw asap. vids like this help me overcome my 'fears' about doing so. From sunny Scotland...

  • That's the kinda stuff I'm sneaking in the movies as everyone else munches on popcorn.

  • i love your videos :) very inspiring :D

  • You're the man... watched almost all your videos... on to the next one! :)

  • Word!!!!!

  • dude. your hot.

i dig it. coffee addiction's hard to kick, though.

  • i agree with both things.

i kicked my coffee addiction by replacing coffee with fresh carrot juice... it actually dramatically helped me.

  • WELL SAID, wow, brilliant... saved to favorites. I hope your message gets across.
