Thanks to liberal policy the world economy is crashing. We must do two things to stop the meltdown NOW!!! Firstly, we need to raise all payroll taxes 10% for one year. @splicedenergy I'm a little confused- you seem to expect me to be surprised by how large Obama's campaign contributions just were. There's also numerous conclusions that could be drawn from the contributions made, especially on behalf of corporations. I'm not really sure what argument you're making here.
The reason Obama won't debate Ryan is because he'd get wrecked. Easier to make speeches to those who will support you no matter what, then let them go and get wrecked by Ryan.
Ryan's plan would give billions more to the insurance companies via vouchers. And where does the money for those vouchers come from? You and me, that's who!

Everyone in Washington knows that Paul Ryan has been told he has a million dollar a year lobbying job for the health industry if he gets his health care law passed.
Here's how it works-he lies through his teeth to get it passed-the healthcare insurance industry makes billions more from vouchers while still denying it's customers health care.
Meanwhile this nigger gets a cushy one million dollar a year job as a lobbyist. Way to sell out your own people Ryan!
The one good thing about Ryan's budget proposal is that it will put a lot of right wingers out of thier jobs and homes. They'll have to move in with the kids who won't have jobs either. Many will die from lack of proper affordable health care. I'm all for that.
Remember, Representative Ryan, that seniors have been paying Medicare tax in exchange for a promise from the government that their healthcare needs would be met. @DillonDee1 Yes the ultra wealthy have been getting richer and the working man has been getting poorer. When you lose your job and need a hand for a while you are a welfare queen. If you join a union and try to get a fair wage you are a communist thug.
But if you inherit billions you can't be taxed because you are a job creator, even if the jobs you are creating are in China and they used to be in America.
Working men kill each other for crumbs while the fat cat billionaires whine about taxes.
The ONLY way to bring jobs back to America is to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr.
This is the only way we can compete with China. Paul Ryan and my fellow republicans need to act on this now. Employers also should not have to carry the burdern of paying for health care either. Go get em Paul!
@SGhockeychika4 Well in my opinion, he is just the same as Bush with regards to foreign policy although with a more public friendly image. I personally believe these Presidents' are good men but with completely flawed philosophies. They completely went against the constitution and platforms they ran on. Bush ran on a humble foreign policy and Obama promised to end the war yet both failed to keep their promises. What do you think?
@SGhockeychika4 I'm talking about the Bush doctrine's foreign policy which was much more invasive in foreign affairs than Clinton doctrine. Clinton was an interventionist as well as Bush Sr., Reagan, all the way back to Truman but Bush obtained the most executive power of any president.
@DillonDee1 Tax, print, borrow & redistribute communists will never learn. Punishing success will not gaing you more success. Stealing is ALWAYS wrong even when you give some of that loot to others. Debt is Debt and the borrower is a SLAVE to the lender.
Healthcare is a PRODUCT and a SERVICE and NOT a "right". WHY? Because you have NO RIGHT to FORCE others to pay for YOUR "product/Service.
btw: Monopoly is BAD and the most powerful monopoly of ALL is Gov't! Competition RULES!
There are costs for highways, bridges, defense, schools, law enforcement, etc -- associated in living in an advanced industrallized nation & needed for all of us to make a decent living
In most advaned nations this is running at about 30-35% of income,
The question is how do you distribute costs & for the richest in America to be paying 15% as the middle-class pays 30-35% is wrong.
Highways, bridges, defense, & "public policy" enforcement are one thing,
Gov't/union monopoly child indoctrination "schools" (control the mind, own the person) and layer upon layer of socialist "security net" programs which redistribute production capital from job producers so that others can become depandant on gov't and vote buying by corrupt crony politicians are another thing altogether.
Endless anti-capitalist crony-corporatism for wars & wall street are horrible!
@raymedeirosradio - i guess my comment was aimed on the fact that (even in this video) the president always comes off polished and static (like he's in fact reading a speech someone else wrote), yet ryan's efforts come across more organic and dynamic. i realize that it's oversimplification, but i sense that people are getting wise to obama's lack of sincerity "smugness" while they're seeing a refreshing down-home quality with ryan. that's resonating with "flyover america (imho)
Q: how many times have you seen paul ryan use a telepromter?... and how many times have you seen "teddy telepromter" without his. kind of insightful as to the kind of genuineness in communication.
"We can achieve much more in peace than we can ever achieve in these needless, unconstitutional, undeclared wars"- Ron Paul
Have you considered Ron Paul? Don't get me wrong I think President Obama is a great guy and better than most politicians but he's continuing the same system under Bush that is bankrupting this country morally and financially. Why did he bail out Wall Street and not the American people? Why is he condoning the bombing of Libya?
@Villageidiots86 (and good luck with that lawsuit.... don't be offended when your lawyer snickers a bit (he'll save you a lot of time and money by telling you you don't sue the government)
@ villageidiot (ironic name btw)... the budget is so U P S I D E down that most of entitlement spending is being "paid" by borrowing money to do so. it's like you or i paying our light bill by credit card. what part of that concept don't you understand? i'm sorry. even ryan admits that BOTH sides have messed this stuff up and it will not be able to go on like this forever. i hope you get this.
Bush came in arguing for a tax cut because Clinton had left him w/ a surplus & he wanted to return the money to the ppl
Now along comes Ryan arguing for a tax cut for the super rich when we have no surplus - we'll have to borrow the money from China w/ our grandkids trying to pay it back.
The tax cut is huge - for some over $50 million - enough to buy another yacht!
Civics 101: ALL spending is in the House of Representatives. Clinton had a REPUBLICAN house who left that monster "W" with a more balanced budget. Remember the gov't shut down when Clinton wanted MUCH more spending than the House would allow? History matters! (facts are facts)
Class warfare ALWAYS leads to the suffering of ALL when those who produce jobs FLEE those who just STEAL their money! (facts are facts)
The "rich" pay over 90% of ALL taxes! (facts are facts)
@DillonDee1 OK, I was exaggerating. Here are the REAL facts:
The latest data show the wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 percent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percent—those below the median income level—now earn 13 percent of the income but pay just 3 percent of the taxes. These are proportions of the income tax alone and don’t include payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare.
Last year the amount paid in Social Security tax almost exceeded the amt paid in Inc Tax & most of the SS tax is paid by the poor & middle class & if Ryan has his way will be moved to the rich.
Meanwhile our Houiston Mayor & Texas Gov each say they arent raising taxes, but are each raising about 100 fees -- almost all of which are regressive,
Socialist Insecurity which is a pyramid scheme like the ones MANY in the private sector have been put in prison for yet the politicial class uses the socialist insecutity pyramid scheme to buy campaign support.
Gov't is FORCE and force is slavery.
I feel sorry for those who were too stupid to save for retirement, but theft (even by collective majority vote) is ALWAYS wrong!
The most beautiful thing about Ryan's plan to raise the social security retirement age to 70 is that the Insurance Companies tell us the super-rich are twice as likelly to reach 70 than the poor & the middle class
And if you happen to be poor AND black you're in the group that has the absolute least chance of reaching 70
So cant you picture some black janiitor wotrking for 35 to 50 yrs & then dying before he gets a penny back
@yakyakyak69 You do realize that Social Security is a socialist program as well as the health care bill that the Democrats passed last year? I may have misunderstood you, but I would just like to point out that Paul Ryan is not the socialist the president and the rest of the Democrats in Congress are the ones that are pushing the socialist agenda.
What! l these corrupt politicians, republican as well as democrats as well the folks who they are the stooges for still in office? WoW. Rip Van Winkle
@28janya22 Yep, a statist is a statist no matter the party affiliation and ALL statists are corrupt because Redistribution & Regulation are the EVIL children of Hubris & Envy which makes SLAVES of the taxed & regulated, DEPENDANTS of the recipients, TYRANTS of the powerful and Cronies of the politicial class while killing FREE competition & ALL HOPE of personal exceptionalism!
Why?
Central Banking & Fiat Debt-Currency = Central Economic Planning Despotism , Political Bribery & Cronyism!
@DillonDee1 - your vilification of ryan is still, to me, very juvenile. ryan is not the boogey man and he must be commended for getting this debate started. i'm fairly sure that our president WOULD NOT have done ANYTHING if it wasn't for ryan and the republicans pushing the issue. last year's congress (ALL democrats) didn't even offer a budget (i assume that they were afraid of the election). the problem is significant. what's your feelings on obama's plan to cut entitlements on medicare?
@DillonDee1 I agree, Medical Insurance Companies should have control over payments for who has a policy in their companies. Why? Cause Private Companies Know what they do A MAJORITY OF THE TIME. Logically, If the Government can't seem to handle Big companies like GM or Chrysler, How can they handle Medical Insurance companies. Not to mention, If Canada can't seem to get the waiting lines shorter, What makes the U.S. Government think it can do it?
@missles518 - I've had private insurance for most of my life, but finally I got sick of listing to my doctor argue about why I needed a test with someone many miles away who'd never seen me.
Now I go to VA & if I SUGGEST I need a test, it is immediately ordered
@DillonDee1 That's good. Cause You're handling things in your health yourself. Hard to believe that Obama and the "Dung"ocrats want to control who pays for your stuff, your health, your doctor, etc.
If your an Adult, shouldn't you be Mature and start working to pay for your OWN stuff?
I'd rather pay for someone who's filling out Applications, Rather than someone who is FAKING filling out the papers.
'Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll eat till he dies."
@missles518 I know you weren't talking to me, but I have to say I pay for my own healthcare, and I am willing to pay higher taxes if it will get us out of the economic crisis, and I am willing to pay for Universal Healthcare.
Labeling all liberals as jobless teenagers shows just how puerile you really are.
Also the auto industry bailout worked, even though I don't like bailouts.
Canada's waiting lines is actually shorter than dealing with the insurance company. Ironically.
No Debrao, they don't have to 'go after the non-rich. What they have to do is cut spending. I think a good start would be to eliminate the departments of 'Education', Energy and Transportation, for starters. The salaries & benefits savings would be upwards of 1/4 of a trillion $ per year. Next, pass a flat tax and reduce the IRS by about 2/3.
...and exchristian666, cutting a couple of percentage points from Federal bureaucracies doesn't = genocide. I'm pretty sure that the little homeowner nazis in D.C. can get by with 12 quadrillion dollars instead of 12.3 quadrillion without millions of Americans dying in the streets of starvation and illness.
Hey Lilburns, I urge you to get therapy for your emotional disorder; there's no need to suffer anymore, b/c you can lead a normal life with the right prescription medication. It's great that you can spell 'satanic' correctly though...good progress in getting your G.E.D. -- keep studying and one day maybe your dream of a high school diploma will come true.
ryan-palin 2016... there's a new wave swelling in the country...... and will rush over washington... and will sweep away the "beltway boys and girls". maybe it will start in 2012? if "obamanism" keeps doing what it has.... and the economy... and inflation... and the budget stays status quo...... the liberal party will be doing some soul-searching (long overdue). imho.
If you've ever read The Fountainhead (one of Paul Ryans favorite books), you would realize that Paul Ryan is the character of Peter Keating. He is a corporate lapdog, spewing forth the words of his lobbyist masters (Ellsowrth Toohey), without actually understanding the end result. This type of ignorant obedience we see here, displayed by Paul Ryan, is the real threat to everyones freedom.
Notice how all Repubs are praising him as genius? Just like Toohey's minions did in The Fountainhead.
Liars, No insurance company is going to insure you at that price, right now the insurance cost for 72 year old person is 12000 dollar per year, Ryan plan will only give 8000 in 2021, the premium is not going to be same and individual will need to pay some where from 6000 to 12000 from their pockets. Its kind of death panels and Genocide for the people who can't afford it.
According to Forbes 400, America has 400 billionaires with a combined net worth of $1.3 trillion. Congress could confiscate their stocks and bonds, and force them to sell their businesses, yachts, airplanes, mansions and jewelry. The problem is it would only get us to mid-August. The fact is there are not enough rich people to pay for all of it. They're going to have to go after the non-rich.
@raymedeirosradio Finally, why would the OAP ask for insurance? The government offers insurance to their employees, and the doctors are all naval medical officers. So, the Fed is paying or its paying.
@raymedeirosradio I would like to further point out that congress members don't all (speaker, house leader excepted) have their offices in the capitol. Paul Ryan for instance is down the street. So, the OAP is generally only available to congress members when they are in the capitol, which would mean they were performing their function as a representative; and are, by law, irreplaceable.
The class war that the Obama administration is pushing to bolster it's plan is not going to keep these entitlement programs going. His 15 member IPAC board for Medicare will decide who gets treatment, and what kind of treatment you are worthy of getting. That is its function and it keeps costs down by actually denying treatment, even if your doctor says you need it.
@raymedeirosradio You took that straight off wikipedia, and in seeing that you had to have read about the dozens of other services the OAP provides to the employees, police, and even vistors of the capitol. Why is this not a bad thing? Because you don't want executives missing critical votes, meetings, hearings, and committees to go to a doctors office. The members of congress, by law, cannot attend by proxy. If they arent there then some group doesn't get represented, period.
@raymedeirosradio they become vested that doesn't mean they get a "big fat pension." If Ryan lost his congressional seat after 5 years he would get 5% of his income (averaged over his highest three years). So, for a congress man that means a pension of $7k per year starting when he turns 62. His health benefits don't run into retirement unless he works for the Fed the five years previos to his retirement at the mandatory ages (25 years total, age 62, or 20 years and age 58. Hardly "BIG FAT"
@raymedeirosradio That is almost completely made up. Congressmen get the SAME health and retirement benefits that every federal worker gets. They don't get salary for life, or healthcare for life; I DARE you to provide a source on that. He is giving us the option to go to a private company, which is exactly what I want: options. Not being forced to get health care by some clown-president.
I like Paul Pyan's plan. If anyone over age 55 does not like it then they are full of thick brown stuff! I am way over 55 and have medicare plus humana. It works out great! The democRATS try and scare Seniors. Get real and wake up you old fools!!
@raymedeirosradio --hey you dumb pos, have you tried Humana? We live in FL and we have Humana Gold Plus and it is great, we also have medicare. Do you have medicare? If you are 75 and have medicare why are you bitching???You have your head where the sun does not shine! Wake up you old fool!!
@raymedeirosradio If you actually LISTENED to what is said, you'd know you argument about the 75 year old is completely meaningless. This does not affect anyone currently over 55.
The metro progressive corporatist propaganda media complex won't go near reporting the facts. All they do is twist the story to scare current seniors.

What a joke. Of course a voucher program.
They give you money then they tell you to go out and buy a private plan.
If you have a pre-existing condition you are SOL. You get to die sick/old in the gutter. If you can't buy a plan with your voucher, you are SOL.

I have a suggestion for you.
1) tax the people who take home 1/2 a million dollars or more at a higher rate.
2) end all oil subsidies
3) bring back windfall profit taxes
4) tax companies at a reasonable rate 30% and remove loopholes.
5) take companies that are to big to fail and cut them up! (remember Ma Bell)
6) close down the Federal Reserve and begin to print our own interest free money.

There has been sooo much class-warfare over the past 10 ys
And the super-rich has been winning!
The top 10% now has 90% of the financial wealth of the nation.
What does Ryan want them to have? 95%? 97%? 99%?

@DillonDee1 Yes the ultra wealthy have been getting richer and the working man has been getting poorer. When you lose your job and need a hand for a while you are a welfare queen. If you join a union and try to get a fair wage you are a communist thug.
But if you inherit billions you can't be taxed because you are a job creator, even if the jobs you are creating are in China and they used to be in America.
Working men kill each other for crumbs while the fat cat billionaires whine about taxes.
TheMasterTate 10 months ago 2
@TheMasterTate -
and they were suppose to leave the Inheritance tax at ZERO for just 1 yr, but i see no mention of an Inheritance Tax in Paul Ryan's plan
We recently had some1 die in Texas leaving an estate worth BILLIONS and, no - MOST OF THE VALUE IN THE ESTATE HAS NEVER BEEN TAXED.
AND NOW IT WILL NEVER BE TAXED!

LiveFreeorDieGuy 10 months ago
@SGhockeychika4 I'm talking about the Bush doctrine's foreign policy which was much more invasive in foreign affairs than Clinton doctrine. Clinton was an interventionist as well as Bush Sr., Reagan, all the way back to Truman but Bush obtained the most executive power of any president.

Healthcare is a PRODUCT and a SERVICE and NOT a "right". WHY? Because you have NO RIGHT to FORCE others to pay for YOUR "product/Service.

Some ppl say "it's my money"
But all of it isn't really
There are costs for highways, bridges, defense, schools, law enforcement, etc -- associated in living in an advanced industrallized nation & needed for all of us to make a decent living
In most advaned nations this is running at about 30-35% of income,
The question is how do you distribute costs & for the richest in America to be paying 15% as the middle-class pays 30-35% is wrong.
DillonDee1 10 months ago
@DillonDee1

Addressing your pt & what is worse --
Bush came in arguing for a tax cut because Clinton had left him w/ a surplus & he wanted to return the money to the ppl
Now along comes Ryan arguing for a tax cut for the super rich when we have no surplus - we'll have to borrow the money from China w/ our grandkids trying to pay it back.
The tax cut is huge - for some over $50 million - enough to buy another yacht!
DillonDee1 10 months ago
@DillonDee1
(facts are facts)
yakyakyak69 10 months ago
@yakyakyak69
The "rich" do not pay 90% of "ALL" taxes - that is total BS!
DillonDee1 10 months ago
@DillonDee1 OK, I was exaggerating. Here are the REAL facts:
The latest data show the wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 percent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percent—those below the median income level—now earn 13 percent of the income but pay just 3 percent of the taxes. These are proportions of the income tax alone and don’t include payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare.
yakyakyak69 10 months ago
@yakyakyak69-- Thank you for the correction.
Last year the amount paid in Social Security tax almost exceeded the amt paid in Inc Tax & most of the SS tax is paid by the poor & middle class & if Ryan has his way will be moved to the rich.
Meanwhile our Houiston Mayor & Texas Gov each say they arent raising taxes, but are each raising about 100 fees -- almost all of which are regressive,
DillonDee1 10 months ago
@DillonDee1 I agree with you that Ryan is wrong!
Socialist Insecurity which is a pyramid scheme like the ones MANY in the private sector have been put in prison for yet the politicial class uses the socialist insecutity pyramid scheme to buy campaign support.

So cant you picture some black janiitor wotrking for 35 to 50 yrs & then dying before he gets a penny back
It's kind of funny when you think about it

Paul Ryan first worked to cut the funds for Homeless Veterans, many of whom suffer from PTSD because of 3 or 4 tours in Iraq
Now Paul Ryan is working to cut 1.3 million veterans from the VA Health Care system, many of whom risk their lives in Iraq
Yes, I know military personal just endangered their lives to get Bin Laden - NOW, SHUT-UP & SACRIFICE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE FOR THE SUPER-RICH!
DillonDee1 10 months ago 2
@DillonDee1 - your vilification of ryan is still, to me, very juvenile. ryan is not the boogey man and he must be commended for getting this debate started. i'm fairly sure that our president WOULD NOT have done ANYTHING if it wasn't for ryan and the republicans pushing the issue. last year's congress (ALL democrats) didn't even offer a budget (i assume that they were afraid of the election). the problem is significant. what's your feelings on obama's plan to cut entitlements on medicare?
wotrwokr 10 months ago
@wotrwokr -- i'll tell you the very last f**king thing i wanna do is to turn over medicare to the f**king Insurance Companies!
DillonDee1 10 months ago 2
@DillonDee1 I agree, Medical Insurance Companies should have control over payments for who has a policy in their companies. Why? Cause Private Companies Know what they do A MAJORITY OF THE TIME. Logically, If the Government can't seem to handle Big companies like GM or Chrysler, How can they handle Medical Insurance companies. Not to mention, If Canada can't seem to get the waiting lines shorter, What makes the U.S. Government think it can do it?
Logical Questions

@missles518 - I've had private insurance for most of my life, but finally I got sick of listing to my doctor argue about why I needed a test with someone many miles away who'd never seen me.
Now I go to VA & if I SUGGEST I need a test, it is immediately ordered
DillonDee1 9 months ago
@DillonDee1 That's good. Cause You're handling things in your health yourself. Hard to believe that Obama and the "Dung"ocrats want to control who pays for your stuff, your health, your doctor, etc.
If your an Adult, shouldn't you be Mature and start working to pay for your OWN stuff?
I'd rather pay for someone who's filling out Applications, Rather than someone who is FAKING filling out the papers.

@DebraofMidwest What a repulsive concept in the first place.
sparkyjunk 10 months ago
@raymedeirosradio Finally, why would the OAP ask for insurance? The government offers insurance to their employees, and the doctors are all naval medical officers. So, the Fed is paying or its paying.
0HippyHunter0 10 months ago
@raymedeirosradio I would like to further point out that congress members don't all (speaker, house leader excepted) have their offices in the capitol. Paul Ryan for instance is down the street. So, the OAP is generally only available to congress members when they are in the capitol, which would mean they were performing their function as a representative; and are, by law, irreplaceable.
0HippyHunter0 10 months ago
The class war that the Obama administration is pushing to bolster it's plan is not going to keep these entitlement programs going. His 15 member IPAC board for Medicare will decide who gets treatment, and what kind of treatment you are worthy of getting. That is its function and it keeps costs down by actually denying treatment, even if your doctor says you need it.
DebraofMidwest 10 months ago 2
@DebraofMidwest --OMG - have you not been paying attention?
One Republican Gov has set up panel to dispprove of tranasplants even if your doctor says you need it.
Another for treatment of AIDS.
DillonDee1 10 months ago 2
@raymedeirosradio You took that straight off wikipedia, and in seeing that you had to have read about the dozens of other services the OAP provides to the employees, police, and even vistors of the capitol. Why is this not a bad thing? Because you don't want executives missing critical votes, meetings, hearings, and committees to go to a doctors office. The members of congress, by law, cannot attend by proxy. If they arent there then some group doesn't get represented, period.
0HippyHunter0 10 months ago
@raymedeirosradio they become vested that doesn't mean they get a "big fat pension." If Ryan lost his congressional seat after 5 years he would get 5% of his income (averaged over his highest three years). So, for a congress man that means a pension of $7k per year starting when he turns 62. His health benefits don't run into retirement unless he works for the Fed the five years previos to his retirement at the mandatory ages (25 years total, age 62, or 20 years and age 58. Hardly "BIG FAT"
0HippyHunter0 10 months ago
exactly, there is nothing noble in giving tax cuts for billionaires and cutting essential services for the most vulnerable people in a country.
I don't see how that can be succeeding.
The status quo can work, if you fund it correctly, fund it with the taxes of the ultra rich
liberalcynic 10 months ago
@raymedeirosradio That is almost completely made up. Congressmen get the SAME health and retirement benefits that every federal worker gets. They don't get salary for life, or healthcare for life; I DARE you to provide a source on that. He is giving us the option to go to a private company, which is exactly what I want: options. Not being forced to get health care by some clown-president.
