  • Is this narrated by Sean Connery?

  • kkkkkkk

  • Ye! It works! I got in a small fight in school and they guy cud never hit me!!! But through the simulyaneous block and punch technique, i brought damage to him! MANNN I WISH I VIDEO TAPED IT! TRULY WORKS!!

  • 3:13-3:20 damn

  • I learned a lot just watching this vid. How I wish I could learn this from a dojo.

  • Wing chun is not a fighting system, it is a fighting science!!!

  • This is the true shit.

  • WT system itself is based on advanced knowledge of Biomechanics, and this is why it can be practiced by women and old person too. It don't try to change the body according to the fighting system but to use the natural body ability and muscolar relax for the purpose of fighting. So forms MUST teach the body to use the full potential of his natural constitution.

  • the form itself. It teach your body how to use 100% of the impact of a punch, it can teach how radicate yourself or use your weight or the intention and weight of the opponent for your attack.... It just build yourself.

  • From the commets i often see on martial arts videos on tube i can catch a common misunderstanding.

I'm just a beginner but ONE thing i understood for sure... the multiform question "can you be aa better fighter by learning tecniques?"

NO. You can't. If all you do is just learn a tecnique for the sole purpose of learning it and use in combat, you've already lost.

Form is the way to teach body and intention the ROOT of the form you are studing. So it can became your root. And be free from

  • Good stuff

  • weak

  • Bruce Lee credits Master Wong Shun Leung as his teacher

  • oh my god the music...........

  • is this master wong shun leung undefeatable or something?

  • @MechPhantom nobody is undefeatable. it's all about how much of yourself you have to sacrifice to become a better fighter.

  • @a7xwidow Yea baby, beautiful saying there soo ture, even the so called "best"will lose someday, even the legendary shaolin monks too will lose someday.

  • @nazworkshop All fighting has a degree of luck to it (your technique's don't guarantee success). I know all about muscle tension/relaxation and structure. I studied Wing Chun in Hong Kong for 5 years. And although my teachers had amazing 'skill' i don't think there training prepared them for real fighting. I have trained in a number of martial art's but if you never test them you never know. I have worked as a bouncer and have fought professionally, i know what works for me. PEACE !

  • @onetao8 i beleive they are calculed biological technics that are natural facts, wich almost anybody could physicaly do and would work everytime because of the logical end up of these technics. i beleive that you need an high environment knowledge to understand the internal wing chun idea, wich would explain the miss of good wing chun around the world.

  • @WingChunHard Im sorry to say this but i cant make much sense of your comment. Im assuming English is your second language (if not you need to go back to school haha ). I dont see why as you say "you need an high environment knowledge to understand the internal wing chun idea" . Maybe try and get someone who can actually write in the English language to make a comment for you. Cheers

  • @onetao8 if you dont respect what you are, what is around you, i think you cant understand the internal side of wing chun. i'm french and i may be tired sometimes

  • @onetao8 One could say the same for you. Learn your punctuation.

  • @halfassedfart I don't really care about punctuation or spelling on youtube as long as i can understand the comments i'm happy. For example. Fuk off u petty cunt stop writin lame az comments. It's not perfect English but you get the message across. Cheers

  • Its All Political, Lmfao

  • This guy fights the original set of Wing Chun. Wong trained under Ip Man himself and has been teaching and spreading Wing Chun all around Hong Kong. Sadly he died because of stroke in 1997. Wing Chun also trains one to relax besides physical motions, which makes Wing Chun a well balanced martial art, physically and mentally.

  • Yip Man and Wong Shun Leung won hundreds of fight between themselves. They fought all styles of Kung Fu and shut down their schools lol. They're the originators of MMA. There's no one style that dominates all. Of course the athletes nowadays are in better shape And know many styles, I guarantee yip and wong would hold their own

  • he beat a russian boxer who's a 2m fighting machine.

    sorry, guys.

wing chun if learned correctly, pwns.

  • what's the name of music!!! i want it !1 AWESOME AAHAH

  • The ultimate fighter...

  • Wong shun lueng is master of Stephen Chow. He looks like areal sifu heh.

  • chow wore Lees pants in kung fu hustle.

  • yep chow pay homage to Little Dragon. Wait till see Way of Dragon remake with Chow in Bruce character. It will be wild.

  • idiot....??????

  • Great Demo...

  • all you kung fu geeks argue about some lame shit. Get a life and please go to your local bar find the biggest man in there and ask him to step outside for a fight. You will see it does not matter what lineage u study soft, hard, internal, external or whatever its still going to be a fight. You will learn more about fighting and yourself in that fight than from any "MASTER" or martial arts class. Go on do it stop talking shit and do it!!!!!!

  • If you asked me for a fight I would just ...use a gun and shoot you, cos you chat so much SHIT

  • did i offend you somehow.....you would shoot me??

  • so what are you saying that wong shun leung couldn't go into any bar and beat the shit out of any one he likes?

don't think so mate wong was the man he could defeat any big man!

but I do agree with you practice of something is the only way to get better at it

i.e fighting a lot and you will get better at it

However by practicing Wing Chun a lot and its techniques you will be good at fighting as well. although Wing Chun is way better than just fighting without technique. Wing Chun is science!!!

  • Do you really think WSL could beat anyone in a fight ?

Do you really think by practicing techniques you get good at fighting?

  • @onetao8

There is alot of evidence/history of WSL beating plenty of people, I think he had around 100 successful fights in Hong Kong at one time.

  • Yes he may of had many fights against small chinese kung fu artists and street thugs none of which offer much of a threat. Against a 300 pound Samoan bouncer or a 155 pound wrestler he would get owned in fact most modern day combat athletes would dominate these old school masters. I love wing chun but i dont believe all the hype, its not no#1. Ppl who practice these arts like to believe there master is invincible cuz it makes them feel like they r part of something special, they know THE SECRET

  • @onetao8

I agree wiv u on the 'secret' & invincible master stuff. There is alot of stuff still done today that would only work against 'small chinese ppl' (i.e. it breaks down in the face of modern 'hyper' athletes & larger westen physiques) add to this alot of BS teachers and its easy to see why kung-fu has such a bad rep but that doesnt mean that everything is useless and it shouldnt deminish the acheviments of the past, if they were good then, they could prob be good now wiv right training.

  • @Donkyfishy Well said Sir.

I do love wing chun, i just dont think it is the be all and end all. Good to see some ppl have common sense, and dont blindly follow the BS or refuse to except other ideas.

    Cheers

  • @onetao8

    Same here. Nice one

  • @onetao8 the sizes of modern day fighters are still useless if a trained master can knock them out with pressure point hits.

  • @Simplemindedbogey Please tell me your joking ??????????

  • @onetao8 do you think size will matter if you get kicked in the balls????????

  • @Simplemindedbogey yeah anyone can kick the ball's, are they pressure point's. If WSL kicked a 250 pound dude in the nut's it might wind him but it might just piss him off. If that same 250 pound guy kicked wsl in the ball's he would probably brake his pelvis. What does your comment have to do with wing chun master's and pressure point's?? Im sorry but your average modern day professional fighter would pick apart WSL in a street fight. Go to a mma gym to spar and u will c the difference.

  • So that's how you learn to fight?

  • jeet kune do was at its core modified wing chun. and he wasnt a closed door student of ip mans... he did once tell all the students there was no class so he was only one there when instructor showed up... he was known as a "cheater", wich wc does support in some way. make no mistake he got in trouble, but wc is secretive and somewut misleading if you dont have a personal understanding. bing lam, who reffereed bruce's fight to have right to train the round eye said his opponent put out hand to sh

  • the young guy in the video i believe is a young gary lam

  • Einfach nur Genial !

  • Wong was indeed the real mentor of Bruce Lee. Yip man was by the way too old and to fragile due to poor health to teach Bruce lee. In the movies and books Yip man is seen as his master and he is but he did not teach him intensively.

  • It is true in some sense however, Bruce was also known on numerous occations to arrive at the school early and tell all the students as they arrived that the "old man" is sick today and then he would have Yip Man all to himself. Genius.

  • he was referring to wong shun leung, by old man.

  • bruceliem, you sound to me like a Wing Chun wanna be who failed and now talks like a blow ass.

  • Learn the WHOLE system before you say "it needs some heavy work added to it".

That's like if I took some high school algebra & said: "Math is ok, but you can't predict rates of change or measure curved surfaces". Of course, calculus can do those things, but one must study math for a few years before you learn calculus.

  • Comment removed

  • high tolerance to pain idiot.

  • @Nephronial

then that makes Math, not cost effective

  • @Nephronial Yeah, you also made wing chun like a basic precursor to other styles, which it is not. I know your good intentions but the way you worded that reply didn't give much credence to what you were trying to get out there. Wing chun is a proven FIGHTING (NOT SPARRING) style that was used for actual combat for centuries. And trust me (as I know living on the east coast of the u.s. Philly/south jersey) it does stop many attackers efficiently, without wasting all of you energy.

  • This guy was Bruce Lee mentor in Hong Kong. He was a legendary wing chun grandmaster, I really doubt that you could even hit him let alone knock him back 50ft

  • not this guy it was Ip Man who was bruce lees mentor and teacher the grand master of wing chun

so again dont refer to as this guy please say a name or something so we all know who you talking about cause this dude who is in the video is not Ip man its just some master who learned and is teaching others

  • @St0n3dElmo

Wong Shun Leung is recognised by many wing chun masters as one of GM Ip Man best students. When Bruce Lee joined Wing Chun kung Fu classes, Wong Shun Leung was already an relatively experienced student there, Sihing, and took him under his wing and help greatly with Bruce's training. This is why I referred to him as Bruce's mentor. Later on, because of Bruce's respect for WSL and his kung fu skills, he sought his advice when to he went into making films etc.

  • then how come in the Ip Man Movie it is Ip man who is recognized as Bruce lee's teacher and mentor

  • @St0n3dElmo

Yeah Bruce Lee official Sifu was Ip Man, but WSL was one of his best students and thus he became a mentor for many newer students in Ip Man class in the 50's, Bruce had many private lessons with WSL and he also helped him with the choreography in 'Enter the Dragon'.

  • @St0n3dElmo

having bruce lee attached to your product helps it sell! Wong Shun Leung was his true teacher!

  • He's also noted as the best fighter produced by yip man.

Not by reputation, but by the proof of beimo.

Yip man did not want to teach Jun Fan because of his german ancestry, wong saw potential in him and pleaded with yip man to let him train.

  • Yip Man was the grandmaster, but if you've ever been in a traditional school, you'll see that the senior students and instructors under him do most of the teaching. The grandmaster can't be everywhere at once. So in fact, Wong Shun Leung was really Bruce Lee's teacher because he spent the most time with him. The grandmaster of my school is Sunny Tang. I talk to him once in a while and he occasionally teaches me, but it's the head instructor under him who really teaches me and knows me.

  • Bruce Lee wasn't in a class he was a closed door student of Ip Mans.

  • No he wasn't.

He didn't even finish chum kiu befor ehe left for the US.

  • i dont know what comment of mine ur replyin to but im guessing that its the comment of bruce being a closed door student. if it is, yes he was a closed door student and i know that he was only at chum q level when he left.

  • May I ask where you train brother?

I trained under Sunny Tang in Toronto years ago, currently I train under Sifu Darrell in Montreal. One of his grand disciples.

  • I train at his Mississauga school just outside Toronto. The head sifu under him is Carl and there's also a couple of other sifus. Sunny Tang is there almost every class though. He's usually doing something else, but he's always there for you if you have a question. One thing though. When you ask him a question, you must be very specific. If you're not, he'll give you weird or even misleading answers. How long have you been training under Sifu Darrell?

  • No, he wasn't the grandmaster. He was simply master.

There is NO position of grandmaster in the system.

  • in what system wing chun?

  • You can't trivialize WSL just because he is Yip Man's pupil. Yip Man didn't invent Wing Chun, he was a student, and is Grandmaster because Wing Chun was formerly a secret art. There was no authority on Wing Chun, so made himself authority. Bruce Lee learned too, is he just a student?

  • Put the crack pipe down and walk away.

  • bahahahahahahahaha

  • WSL yes i d not expect him tp tell others especaillay to seminar students shit about BL.... but in real he talked about about BL as a smart ass who was too cocky talked too much and made hongkong against himself.. and people around him .i have more but better not talk about it,,,

  • Red,.I m not sayin I m the only one who knew late WSL ,but I was with him in hongkong and it was under different circumstances .let me expalian what happened,,in 1992 there was a german student with f him and he did not even know that BL was born to a half german mom and was euroasian but had usa citizenshi and BL having a german blood made him very happy i guess.,

  • Sure he told you Bruce Lee was full of shiit. He loved Bruce Lee he kept a note in his wallet from him until he died. Bruce Lee made Wing Chun into something you can use in real fighting not by moves by simplicity which is Jeet Kune Do

  • the best wing chun man ever lived... our sigung WSL lives forever ..he told me in person that BL was nothing but a full of shit

  • O yeah, than you woke up and realized you pissed in your pants...

  • that's funny because he told me in person that Bruce Lee was actually pretty good. Which one of us is telling the truth? Cunnundrum.

  • Is that Leung Ting at 3:46?

  • hahaha I love how they add the punching sounds!!
