I am not a scientist but my theory is that man has figured out how to transmit and use his eyes and ears over great distances. The next step in technological advancement will be based in smell and touch and taste. When we get to that point in our technology,then the matrix will be an acheivable reality. I heard first concept of television was created accidentally by a college student. I'm not sure if that is true.
