  • WHY THE FUK DO U KEEP SHOUTING BREAK BREAK....DEY AINT HOLDIN

  • that boxer makes more noise than actions

  • Put on 9' and see how Spider is a piece of shit

  • @willzinhuo and why is he a piece of shit?????

  • @hrzan He's not a true champ. I'm brazilian, but Anderson Silva sucks. MW is just about Vitor and Chael.

  • @willzinhuo ok,u dont like the guy.fair anough, but what do you see when u press 9 that makes him a "piece of shit"?

  • @hrzan On 9:00 the guy who Anderson is sparring throw one punch that make Anderson's head shake.

  • @willzinhuo yeah.but i dont like the guy going full on like that in sparring.i can see that u clearly dont like Anderson, but truth be said he is one of the best technical fighters out there.im not brasilian,im croatian so i must b cro cops fan as his country man but i admire Andersons technique.anyways, take care man.

  • @hrzan Yes, he is one of the most technical fighters in the history of the MMA. But I think that fans could look more to the attitudes of the fighters. See ya ;D

  • They could atleast put anderson against a faster one

  • slowest punches in the world from the boxer

  • press 9 that guy throwing too hard its sparring dam qwit tryna show off

  • lmao anderson got mad.....

  • how the fuck he have "steel chin" when there fighting with headgear

  • is it me or is anderson just toying with him, the other guys seemed more serious

  • anyone know who he was sparring?

  • Such a crazy style of boxing..

  • Anderson is just ok in boxing

  • @skater896lyfe yea!!! and hes god at f###ing people up!!

  • @skater896lyfe oh u have trained with him and know how good he truly is? cuz thats pretty much the only way i would imagine u know how good he is really at boxing

  • 07:51 skill

  • @account22120 definately! :)

  • Who's the sparrings partner?

  • The guy who gets hes ass kickt in sparring is the true winner

  • paquiao would knock them out in 1 round

  • @charly46 Youre joking right....Anderson Silva has at least 40 pounds on Pacquiao, and probably a good reach advantage. Have you seen him fight....He would destroy Pacquiao.

  • @iM0nst3r why would compare a them at all...silva would rape even if he fought with one arm

  • @feyzu66 i didnt, i was replying to someone.

  • Comment removed

  • They pick a guy that walks towards you with his hands on his waist to spar Anderson Silva lol what a joke, that sparring partner is terrible! This isnt Andersons first day in the ring they couldve got it someone with a slight bit of skill.

  • Anderson Silva should fight in the boxing ring where he could earn much more than UFC has to offer...

  • He was a muay Thai fighter before MMA, he just some boxing fights. But his background is more muay Thai than boxing. He's a good boxer either way.

  • if only the sparring guy aka punching bag hadnt fight before this and gave his 100% speed and skill..andersen would get raped

  • @akosihelbert I saw an interview with Freddie Roach where he said that Anderson was only giving about 30% the whole time he trained with him. He said it wasn't until he saw a fight of his on TV that he realised how good he is. Anderson wasn't trying either. You know he was a professional boxer before the MMA?

  • @LionelWitchieWardrob yeah..but i thought he was better of an mma fighter than a boxer.

  • Freddie Roach... What an inspiring guy

  • this doesnt mean an mma fighter can make it in boxing . this just means that anderson is just generally a good fighter

  • @M055B0RG i actually know someone who has trained with Silva before and he said he was very surprised at how good his straight up boxing was. he said he was beating pretty much everyone with just the hands. so yeah Silva just has great overall stand up compared to many MMA fighters

  • 8:57 uhh. But he is doing pretty well

  • @MrFza Anderson is going like 20% here lol

  • @TheUFCnetwork ofc its sparring. But not 20. 40% in my opinion.

  • SSS SSS SSS SSS SSS SSS

  • No offence, I don't need to hate or take anything from Silva because he's fantastic, but look how slow his sparring partner's punches are, it just doesn't look too hard to dodge or block them does it? And obviously the other guy is exhausted, anyway brilliant technics

  • the guy boxing anderson is just basicly getting used as andersons personal punching bag.

  • the other guy is practically going all out and getting pwned by Anderson at about 35% effort LOL!

  • @Coobyliscous I believe he is not going all out.

  • Comment removed

  • "I'm trying coach :'("

  • Guy On The Speed Bag Must Have Realized Who Was Sparring. Haha. He Turned Around For Round Two.

  • you know you cant get away from him with that shit! HUH!

  • too funny

  • his timing is sick in this video!! and he out boxed a guy who is a boxer .... the guy has done a few rounds before silva though thats why he looks sluggish

  • 20% of mma is boxing, you cant expect mma fighters to have elite level boxing if they only have 1/4 of the time to train for it.

  • dam!! anderson has a steel chin

  • @wisdomfmma yea but hes wearing head gear why say it on this video lol

  • all respect to silva, he's a great MMA fighter, definitely not a great boxer even if they were just "working"

  • lol

  • @ViolenceNegotiated agreed, LOL.

  • i learned nothing but that they are both bad boxers

  • boxing dude got fruscrated! LOL! Anderson was getting on that head!

  • sparring is sparring, he did everything you are suppost to do, of course he could have fucked him up in 5 seconds but what can he learn from that!? And give the nigga a chance, its hard to keep weight, mussle, and cardio with boxing skill and at least he has the guts to get in there full contact

  • se olvidan de tirar en el cuerpo..estan bien weyes!!!!

  • lol.. I love how Anderson started fucking with him after his sparring partner said "IM TIRED COACH"

Then he tried to seriously throw some Haymakers..

    Anderson said fuck you...

  • Anderson looks great.

He just needs to work on his covering up sometimes. A lot of ranked boxers would be able to get through his defense.

He has AMAZING head movement... But you can tell he could get countered by some short uppercuts in a Pro Boxing fight.

I mean... Obviously people can critique his boxing. But the fact is.. Anderson does not train SOULY on boxing.. If Anderson did train 100 percent boxing for a year or 2.. He would be something special in the ring. Even at his age.

  • @subslament i agree

  • love how he jjst makes fun of the other guys cardio makes em push his weight around this was brilliant

  • the other guy was obviously puffed out.. so, this exercise only proved he was fitter.

  • First time I've seen Andersens chind get tested and he let it happen!

  • silva is chillin

  • that boxer was getting pissed at anderson's movement...to be honest though, he looks to heavy to be at andersons wieght level. He was sluggy as fuck.

  • Its obvious that Guy Anderson spared doesn't know how to box they put Anderson with someone that would make him look good

  • @Bori2013 That's the idea when they hire a sparring partner. You hire somebody will challenge the guy slightly (which the guy did slightly challenge him he landed a few good punches without killing him) without beating him. I'm sure the guy when he got hired to spar Anderson Silva was psyched. I compete at golden gloves currently have 21 fights and if somebody said hey I'll pay you to spar Anderson Silva. I'd do it for free even knowing I'd get my ass kicked.

  • @CrazyMunky84 I am pretty positive he was not hired to spar boxing with Anderson... It looks like Silva made an appearance at the gym... And if you train in boxing.. WHY WOULDENT YOU WANT to spar with him?

Silva is getting in here to get some critique from Freddie Roach about his boxing technique. Probably nothing more.

This isent any serious training other than trying to get pointers and small training from Freddie.

  • he did catch anderson with a nice 1 towards the end though but still mma rules..no disrespect to boxing

  • don't think he should let all those people watch because then it's more likely to become a brawl rather than sparring beause of peoples egos

  • serious man sparr someone professional not ameture really. the guy cant even keeps his hand up

  • @Mr261194 james toney dont keep his hands up O_o...

  • @nixdcc James Toney even though he's past his prime and fat now still has awesome defense, reflexes and a shoulder roll though... That'S the reason him and Hopkins are still in the game and winning now. Defense is the last thing to go.

  • @k4n31985 and power.

Old boxers still have the power.

  • i love how his opponent's coach is so worried and roach is chatting with some next guy lmaoo

  • The best punch from Silva's sparring partner was when he made Silva's head go all the way back. Of course, Silva laughed it all. Even in 16oz. Silva can break a man.

  • Man... Anderson's in good hands. Roach is elite and the best instructor out there. I was lucky to have the chance to be coached by Freddie when they set up camp up here in Vancouver for Amir Khan's fight with Malinaggi. Always calm and composed, he gives out instructions clearly and patches holes in your stand up game. Humble guy too. He is literally the reincarnation of Cus D'Amato.

  • Dude, anderson silva is fighting in the ring... GET OFF THE SPEED BAG!

  • Some sweet hand skills there. It was nice to see how well he fend off without the aid of his kicks, kneeing, elbowing or takedowns.

  • When Anderson takes that combo at 9:00 he looks at the dude like for real your trying to knockmw out....Now im gonna whoop dat ass lol

  • @Knyce333 lol yeah. pretty cheap to take a shot at silva when he was adjusting head gear but i would have done the same xD

  • Nice Spar but less effort on Silva

  • wow wasnt expecting anderson to tool him so badly. wasnt even close.

  • Nice sparring was that. Cheers!

  • The look on Freddie Roach's face at 9:00 when Anderson takes the combo........priceless!!! Great video by the way, thank you for sharing.

  • He'sa Natural boxer Silva he is good too the other fella

  • @mmask8r you dont spar to work on your cardio.. hes juss working on his boxing skills right here..

if he wanted to do cardio he would be doing sprints.

  • Comment removed

  • @mmask8r they went two rounds.. how is that cardio. and when you fly all the way out to LA to train with freddie roach its gonna be for boxing..

  • Comment removed

  • @mmaRETARD haha are you serious ?

  • @krevdog You and the 9 people that thumbed up are stupid or trolls.

  • @krevdog Sparring is excellent for the cardio as well. So it looks like MMA fighters can barely compete with average boxers

  • @BigBadMarketer but the boxer is too slow.let james toney spar with silva.

  • @BigBadMarketer He is obviously training on his hands.

  • @mmask8r idiot

  • @tumadre420pm how so? i know what im talking about and half of you dont

  • @mmask8r because hes not gonna go down to wild card to work on cardio hes there to work on technique. if it was cardio it would probably be a lot more intense than this. oh and i also compete in amateur boxing so i know a thing or two

  • @tumadre420pm i know dude mmaskaters an idiot.. hahah

  • All of you shut up none of you know what you are talkin' bout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fools!!! LMFAO

  • LMAO " why you in the corner like that son? " 8:18

  • click my name to see my sparring sessions! im an ex Shotokan guy learning boxing~

  • whats so dope about this to me is that we have sum of the same boxing technique wich is NONE lol anderson and i have similiar insticts in the ring without being taught how to box, super cool gives me hope that im on the right path if me and anderson silva share boxing mannerisms and were both novice's that says alot :)

  • why are they wearing chastity belts?

  • Freddie Roach Face Priceless Haha

  • Silva didn't do too bad. He does have speed on the guy. Silva has hands and speed for pro boxing but not the defense. Could be really good if he trained hard. He was a boxer before mma. The whole thing about the gloves is a myth a study shwed that the impact of the punches with mma gloves and pro boxing gloves is the same.

  • that is a badass gym

  • ??? anderson took it easy on him. if you dont know boxing then shut the hell up. he wasnt even hitting him. at the end he tagged the other guy with a right hand the the guy was in another world so anderson went back to slap boxing. lmao

  • @bornkilla1987 guess what slap boxing can win fights too... two words joe calzaghe

  • @meter85 yeah but look WHO he fought... nobodies. His best wins are over a WAY OVER THE hill Roy Jones & Hopkins.. and they weren't awesome wins either.

  • anderson has a pro boxing record already. and if youwatch the boxing videos you can tell he was hoding back sparing this man. he ran circles around this dude.

  • If he'll consider boxing, I think Anderson Silva is still going to have a good career. I see his style similar as of Nonito Donaire.

  • PACQUIAO AND BOB ARUM DUCKING MAYWEATHER BIG TIME...COWARDS.

  • We goto the judges scorecards.......10-7, 10-9 silva. The WINNNER by unanimous decision!!!!!!!!! ANDERSON SILLLLLLLVAAAA

  • Comment removed

  • lolz at all of the comments "coaching" either of these two guys on their performance! All of you people must just be world champions that we've never heard of. Please post a video response of your last sparring sessions... would love to see them. =D

  • everyone says boxing is weak, put a boxer in the octagon and they'd be dead. I'm sorry but this is true. However, what happens if you put a MMA fighter in the ring? The MMA fighter gets tired, out of breath, gradually drops his guards and gets a good beating. the evidence is this video.

  • @FsXgOd1091 I dont see any evidence of an mma fighter getting a "good beating" in this video. Anderson silva destroyed this guy. and in boxing its ok to drop your guard because the gloves are thicker. If you dont see anderson silva winning that match then ur just a dumbass

  • @lilsaint712 anderson might have won, sure. but CLEARLY you have no understanding of boxing. "its ok to put your guard down" WTF? have you even boxed before?

  • Fuck silva got rocked at 9:02

  • The guy he is sparring definitely looks a little confused.

  • anderson silva has fought a few pro boxing fights...google it ..this guy he is sparring is either holding back or just sucks

  • bitch move hitting someone when they fix their gear.

  • @xhazedx it may be a bitch move but that actually helps in training for the one getting hit. you don't know if people are going to cheap shot you in the actual fight. everything should be prepared before you're in the ring and or octagon. you fix your gear in the ring and get ko'ed, you can cry about it being a bitch move, but in the end who got their ass ko'ed? not the one who did the bitch move. my coach taught me that. our trainers don't want us to touch gloves when the bell rings either!

  • @brandeezy108 same with my old coach, and I agree with everything you say. A bitch move is still a bitch move tho

  • @xhazedx "Protect yourself at all times" first and last thing they are told even when they spare...idiot. didnt you see that last Gayweather fight? perfect example.

  • @hooksdonny lol next you'll defend low blows right? Just because it happens, doesn't make it right, and still makes it a bitch move. Bitch. How many times do fighters stop and touch gloves. GTFO.

  • doesn't look good vs a boxer not good at all mma is a different game, and he said he would fight RJ jr even now roy would beat him up like a kid

  • at 9:00 the only reason why anderson got hit with the jab, straight right is cuz he was trying to fix his headgear ;)

  • @danny702x he was hit by some very good punches in the begining he is not good in boxing he wouldn'T stand a chance

  • @tunsiCA94 shut up if you dont know what you are talking about. andersons boxing was way better than from the other guy! he just fought technically while the other guy, wich is propably one weigh-class above anderson, was throwing power punches.

  • @timothydalton90 hahahahahahahahahahaha listen up kid... anderson is a good boxer in mma but in boxing he wpuldn't stand a chance his guard is weak and his footwork isn't good either and the other guy was clearly holding back he wasn't going all out evryone can see that and if you can't then stop talking like you know shit about fighting

you are just a typical fanboy who can'T be objectiv because you like him too much

    open your eyes

  • @tunsiCA94 I'm a big fan of Anderson but that said I totally agree that he didnt look that good against the other boxer. I think Freddy Roach noticed that too.

  • @tunsiCA94 I agree that Anderson isn't all that in boxing, but his opponent was holding back because he would have gotten his ass handed to him if he had tried to go hard with Anderson. The guy was throwing wild haymakers at the end of the first round and was already winded between rounds. In other words, Andersons sparring partner was a pretty mediocre boxer for Anderson to practice on, not a competitive fighter that could put Anderson in survival mode.

  • @frankienutz123 yes thats exactly what i meant. his sparring partner was a middle class boxer but still he was technacly better and he threw some good punches for example the uppercuts that went just through andersons guard and he was also a lot stronger than anderson. anderson may had better stamina but the other guy was a better boxer. but that doesn'T mean anderson is bad, he is a very very good mma fighter and his stand up skills are great. but thats just in mma.

  • @tunsiCA94 You aren't very good at reading comprehension are you? Don't equate what I said to what you said if our opinions are conflicting. I implied that Anderson was the better boxer of the two, you are saying the opposite. The only thing that the other guy had on Anderson was size.

  • @frankienutz123 well if thats the way you think than you should learn some things about boxing and try to be objectiv and not just see what you want to see

i knok you probably think of him as the best figter ever and all that but just see the thing as they are

watch the video two more times and look at their technique.

  • @tunsiCA94 I'm not an Anderson Silva jock rider, matter of fact I grew up watching boxing way before mma. You don't know what you're talking about man.... and like other people have pointed out here, you seem over opinionated and under informed.

  • @frankienutz123 who do you mean with other people??? you mean this anderson silva bumlicker timothydalton guy??? this guy has no clue about boxing and you seem like you don't have any clue either?? if you think people disagree with me why is my comment one of the top rated? come on man if you watched boxing a long time you should be able to see all his weaknesses!!!!

  • @tunsiCA94 are you serious? did we see the same video? Listen i train all this contact sports, bjj, muay thai and kickboxing, mma, grappling... but boxing is the one i´ve longer time trained, and my favourite one. So i´m not a fan or whatever. But anderson boxes both southpaw and regular, controls the distance, moves right, has a good jab and much better stamina than this other boxer... of course not enough for pro boxing, cause he doesn´t train for that. A boxer wouldn´t last in an mma bout

  • @tunsiCA94 can you please tell me why the other boxer says "i'm trying coach at 5:55?" please i wont to know. i fight muay thai and mma competitively as a striker and i focus allot on foot work and timing and andersons footwork is excellent, please tell me why it isnt good ? i would like hear why?

  • @ollielelievre his footwork is weak cause he doesn't tunr his feet when he throws a punch and if you would know something about boxing you sould see that his guard is really weak he always drops his right hand when he throws an straight left the other boxer could counter with a left hook and anderson would hit the canvas

  • @tunsiCA94 The other guy was the one holding back? I recall at one point him saying "I'm trying, coach!". They were both holding back, it's just sparring of course. But Anderson was putting forth almost no effort, his sparring partner more than broke a sweat.

  • @QuestionMark3133/ ahhhh man i don'T want to repeat myself 100 times just read what i wrote to the other idiot

  • @tunsiCA94 It's hard to take you seriously when it looks like you type with the side of your head. But no, you ignored all points of my argument. Go back to your cave troll, and have fun being a fuckwit.

  • @QuestionMark31337 you think i am the troll??? why do i have 6 thumbs up then???? i think the people think the same as i do you idiot! now go and get the love you never got from your father you prick!!!

  • @tunsiCA94 Mad, bruh?

  • @QuestionMark31337 Yeah well. Who's his sparring partner again? A nobody. Look Silva up on boxrec. He tried being a boxer. He won his first fight. Then he got knocked the fuck out. By a bum. Boxing isn't for MMA fighters. They might beat up some journeymen, but no top tier professional. Same vice versa. Except that a top tier boxer, muay thai fighter or kickboxer could easier transition into MMA and be successful when he trains at a good gym and learns TD defense. But then'd be a mma fighter.

  • @k4n31985 but to transition from being a pure MMA fighter who for example has good stand up (better standup than grappling) it won't be so easy to transition and be successful. Back in the day MMA used to be olympic gold medalist judoka, black belts in Karate who had participated in top competition etc fighting each other. Or Werdum a 4 time BJJ world champ. The newer generation of fighters might have a black belt in Karate (like GSP) but they wouldnt hang in top comp. New Generation of MMA:

  • @k4n31985 Jack of all trades, master of none.

  • @tunsiCA94 anderson wasnt trying to hurt the guy so you cant judge his boxing skills off that. Anderson had the other guy go 100% so he could get a good workout in and work on head movement and reaction timing plus take a few shots to keep chin strong. anderson was definately working on agility

  • @crayb89 that doesn't change the fact that he didn'T use the right techiques when throwimg his punches. everytime he threw a straight left he dropped his right hand and his chin is not tucked in very good.

  • @tunsiCA94 the other guy is a bum

  • @tunsiCA94 maybe the other dude was holding back. but do you really think anderson was going 100%?

  • @tunsiCA94 If people give you thumbs, that only proves more people dont know shit. You are a good fighting comentator. As good as Stevie Wonder. Anderson destroyed that other guy. The guy was talking to his corner saying "im tired coach...bla bla ba.. i missed it..." Anderson was just releasing his arms, the other guy was nervous just by andersons moving around him. Weak guard?footwork?the guy holding back? LOL i cant even coment on that other than: you dont know shit. Keep playing videogames...

  • @mossemarafade hahahahahaha i don't know shit???? and what does make you such an expert?? your ignorance? your lack of knowledge? your inexperience?? you claim these people don'T know shit even though you don'T know them, but you are the one who is talking shit!!! you didn't even stated an correct argument! you think i don't know shit?? i started various martial arts before you were born kid! i forgot more things about boxing than you will ever learn!! stop talking shit and go to a gym yourself!

  • @tunsiCA94 There's more than one thing that you dont know about martial arts. I will just state a couple: respect and humbleness. You are as arrogant as one can be coming here and writing like some kind of yoda master.. lol. I did not focus on arguments because there are limited characters and your arrogance is a greater cause. Silva's knowledge of the fighting game is far superior and for those here who can read it will understand what im saying. Not expecting you to understand and i dont care

  • @mossemarafade me being arrogant and not respectfull??? are you even reading what you are writing??? you don'T even know me nd still you say i am not respectful and humble?and i am not writing like some kind of yoda because noone knows everything about martial arts but it seems that your point of view is very limited! you are probably a huge fan os anderson thats why you can't see the facts !! just watch the vido one more time and try to focus on their technique and you will see the diffrence!

  • @tunsiCA94 Arrogance, in every comment you made to me and others here. Are you a grand dad? You seem to call everyone "kid" as if it would made you a wise man... lol. Your only recurrent remark seems to be against Anderson fans. Once more desrespecting others calling everyone a "fanboy". Martial arts are not only a gym/dojo thing. Its a way of living and respecting. You are a white belt in this last point. Also regarding the video: i will not discuss the obvious. You dont know shit about standup

  • @mossemarafade sorry man i can'T take you serious because you didn'T say one thing that was true so think whatever you want! i don'T think that your opinion is better than the opinions of me and those wha agree with me!!

  • @tunsiCA94 617,542 seen this video. 6 agreed with your "opinion". I rest my case. LOL. See ya grand dad...

  • @tunsiCA94 Boy you need to open your eyes. Anderson was PLAYING with this guy. He doesnt have good footwork are you kidding me? first off anderson was completely out of shape, and did not even go 50 percent. Sure he doesnt have a guard but some of the best fighters dont either since they have such great head movement and reflexes. Silva has a natural talent for striking. He has long arms and creates good angles. Just because his boxing isnt the same style you learned doesnt mean he isnt good.

  • @LacosTacosPacos listen kid i didn'T say his striking was bad or something like that, nut it is a fact that his boxing technique is weak! the other guy was holding back! anderson couldn'T hurt him. every time the other guy landed anderson was rocked, his chin was not tucked in and he didn'T turn his feet when throwing a punch and he dropped his right hand everytime he threw a straight left! i jusi said that he is not a good boxer but he is a good mixed martialartist

  • @tunsiCA94 really that guy was holding back? did you not see him look over to his coach and say "im trying". Silva was running circles on this man, and had pretty good footwork. Trust me, anderson could have EASILY hurt this man as he has done to so many fighters in his career. Maybe his chin tucking needed some work, but a fighter with this talent doesnt need a guard. Just look at mayweather and ali in there careers, there defense was their offense and reflexes. Basics dont apply to everyone.

  • @tunsiCA94 its opposite to me it clearly looks like anderson is holding back that guy looked like he shot what he had and basically gased himself out anderson is touch sparring that guy is trying to hit 3 times as hard

  • @tunsiCA94 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Looks to me like everybody disagrees with you, kid. You don't know shit about shit. I'm not an Anderson Silva fan.

  • @TheElJesus and still is my comment the best rated!! keep on hatin fuckers hahahahahaha
