I don't see the point of this car... they took out a bunch of stuff to make it lighter including the air conditioning, but they left in the nav system?? Plus the rag top is all manual. If I am going to purchase a car in this segment, why not just pay an extra 5 grand for a carrera...?

they have really fixed how awful the thing looked with the top up. With the two humps in the back, it truthfully doesn't look half bad with it up. I might even go as far as to say nice!

The turbo 911 classics will always be the best looking Porsche in my opinion, and second the CGT (then again I'm very ole school, remember the clean drop 79 911's)

Nicest looking Porsche?! What is wrong with you people..the 2 humps are what ruined this car! If I spent 60k on a roadster I would definitely not want to look like the Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky that pulls up next to me..Porsche should have never copied the 2 humps from these cheaper cars! Sure the Solstice and Sky copied the CGT but now it's too late to add the humps to the Boxster! The Porsche text logo on the side is cheesy too! I'll stick with my 08 Boxster.

it seems you are new to porsche... the "Humps" come from the late eighties 911 speedster, early nineties, 964 speedster, & some 550 Spyders 50's !!! the Only thing the Boxster needed was those humps to adjust the boring vast trunk... look at the Cayman, see how the tailgate reinforces the curves of the rear wheel arches!! (you don't see that in a regular boxster...)The Side Stickers: look at the mid to late sixties 911s :-) As for American Cars.... They are copy paste... except for the Cadilacs

Regardless of history, the bottom line is I would not want to drive a car where the rear looks similar to a Pontiac or Saturn. It's embarrassing.

Yes I agree, the nicest looking Porsche, problem is they should have gave this new look to all of the boxsters. Ive always thought part of the boxsters rear top never look quite well balanced angle wise to the rest of the car. Now with that little spoiler and the 2 humps rising from the rear top, the boxster finally looks "right" and I want one!

Porsche please do this to all the boxsters. You killed production on carrera v10GT , this car now looks like a smaller version an I want it bad! lol

@GunzDonovan BoxsterSpyder looks amazing - and im certainly willing to trade my boxster for one - but i have to disagree about changing the back-looks of the current boxster - i actually love it compared to a Cayman - although Porsche-speaking, the rising back of a Cayman resembles a typical Porsche.
