San Francisco Locations Used in Hitchcock's 'Vertigo'

This is great! I just saw the movie "Vertigo" and was thinking about the locations some of the scenes were shot in, and I found this video. I was thinking how much they could have changed throughout all the years...

I have been to San Fran twice. However, I was with people that have never seen the film so I didn't see any of the sights. The whole time I heard the hermann score in my head.

Great video, I have been by each one of these places many times as I have lived in San Francisco for the last 15 years.

I never knew all these where in the movie.

I live in England, but have visited SanFrancisco many times. It's one of my favourite cities in the world. I can't wait to return!

The locations were shot more or less at the same time: late morning and afternoon.

Hope your stay there goes well. You need strong legs though; those hills can be pretty challenging!
