From my point of view, Sahara and sahraouis are not free. They deserve independence. They can't choose, so they are not free. Their home is under the occupation of Morocco. There are not only "some social problems". In Moroco's prisons. Ask, for example, to Amina Lawal.

Western Sahara is free since 1975. Sahraouis belong to the kingdom of Morocco. They are living in peace as any other moroccan citizen. They are free in all cities of Western Sahara. They are participating to social/political/economical life. There are some social problems due to missing housing/employment programs. The situation is changing now since the establishement of Mohamed VI. He is taking care of sahraouis personnally!
