  • I'm a man who believes that right is right and wrong is wrong. Treat me right, and I will give you my all. Treat me wrong, and I will give you nothing. They don't like me for that, but that's the way I am." A great quote from the great Johnny Paycheck.

So close to saying those other great immortal words...."Take this job and shove it"

    I love vinyl. Thank you!

  • Love it! Thanks for sharing these great old songs!

  • I hadn't heard this in a long time. You used to be able to hear it all day long on the radio. I hope you have some Ferlin Husky(Simon Crum), Carl Perkins, Webb Pierce, or Hank Snow. I met and talked to Ferlin Husky when he played at the University of New Mexico Fiestas in 1964 or 1965. He was shocked when I asked him to play MY GALLINA (My Chicken) which was one of the silly songs he sang as Simon Crum. He did not expect anyone to know he was both singers.

WOW. ..the look on his handsome face!!

  • I'm dedicating this song to Steven Slater of Jet Blue airlines lol

  • Like the sound of records. Glad they are making a comeback. This sounds a little fast though.

  • GIVE up that job and you'll be SHOVED into the street.

  • Wooohoooo!! Our theme song for our store!!!

  • my bro just quit his job

  • this is for my buddy bryan, canned today for a b.s. reason. i hope he finds a better job.

  • Don't need nerve,just say it!

  • Trucking!!! Take this shit and shove it....

  • I don't know anybody who would'nt LOVE to play this to management where they work. I KNOW I would.

  • you took the words out of my mouth lol.

  • When i quite working at the dealership i played this song over the intercom system through the hole dealership.... It was great

  • @diesel88rules I might do the exact same thing today. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Never actually said this...can't get U.I. if you quit! I did wear a t-shirt to work though..."My Boss is like a Diaper. He's always on my ass, and half the time, he's Full of Shit!"

  • I told my boss this

  • This is to Ceridian Corp. They are outsourcing our whole F**ken jobs to the chinks :(

  • To Rubin Postaer & Deutsch, Inc.

  • I'm gonna play this song for my supervisors when I retire.

  • wish I played this for my ex boss after 15 years too!

  • awesome. You wish he was your drinkin buddy. How awsome would that be!!

  • You're missing some scratches on that record. LOL

  • i've heard a teacher explain a record to a student like it was the same as a cd.... WRONG lol records sound way better then a cd clearer sound and it's got a full range when it comes to sound where cd's have limited due to the digital signal thats user to write them.

  • How do they think that they are the same ? my sister has told me that too lol, the only similarites are that they are round, and spin, but one is read by a needle, and the music is actually in the record, the cd is read by a laser, and the music is represented by a bunch of 1s and 0s, maybe that explains why Vinyl sounds so much better lol, honestly, it is pretty ignorant when people say that they are the same, but now I'm wondering what this teacher said lol

  • she basically said that they are the same thing "the ony difference is that the record is bigger, black"... i could have smacked her lol jk... i know they are different the analog signal sounds 100 times better than any cd's digital one because of the music being engraved into he vynal instead of the 1's and 0's burnt into aluminum foil lol

  • Teachers are pretty dumb sometimes lol

  • That explanation would have been great if she had brought a turntable to school and let the student "spin" a CD. I can hear him now: "Damn!...Damn!....Daaaaaamn!"

    LMAO

  • lmao i love stupid people because theyre easy targets to pick on! and man did i pick on that teacher!

  • She was right, but she was apparently missing the technological aspect of it. Believe it or not, recording on a CD involves burning grooves with the laser light. We don't see it because of the layers on top of where the actual tracks are. So, the principle is the same. The laser sensor "reads" the grooves in the same way that the needle hissed and popped over the vinyl records.

I don't blame you for picking on the teacher because according to them--THEY ARE RIGHT ALL THE FUCKING TIME! LMAO

  • lol hell yes.... true but still she said its a big old cd .... i'd rather look like a jerk and explain it as thouroughly as possible then risk comparing it to something newer and someone calling me out on it especially a kid that doesnt even have a middle school education (this was about 8-9 years ago)

  • A lot of people don't know it, but the first teachers were actually priests and things like that. Education is all about control, especially PUBLIC EDUCATION. It's like that Lennon song, Working Class Hero says:

"They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,

They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,

Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,"

Of course, corporal punishement is no more.

  • i knew that part but i completely understand that with the control factor... and the sad thing is that coporal punishment is no longer used!!

  • Corporal punishment is useless. All you are doing is teaching the kid how to confront an enemy. The problem is that the teacher IS NOT supposed to be one of the bad guys. So, now that he, the principal and all other teachers are the enemy, the kid no longer feels any remorse. His responses are just ANGER--HOSTILITY TOWARD THE OPPOSITION.

Result: He learns no morals, just survival skills

  • Corporal punishment was still used at my school, they had a paddle with holes in it, corporal punishment doesn't really work, they would paddle the trouble makers, and they wouldn't care, they would wear extra underwear haha, it was amazing how many people just didn't care lol

  • The teacher-student relationship is based on one false premise--that the child already respects all adult authority when in fact, they don't.

I'll be honest with you, I don't even remember how angry I felt when I received the punishment and I see myself as a child thinking more like, "Here we go again."

LMAO. You're right. Nobody gave a shit until the paddle hit! ROTFLMAO

  • my class laughed so hard 2day my teacehr was complaning about grading the 100 or so test and one kid yelled out shut the F**ck up u assainded them it was halarious

  • That would be funny lol

  • love this song but its david allen coe not johnny paycheck.

  • This song is a great job related stress reducer!!!

  • Way to go!!!

Johnny Paycheck had it going on!!!

I love this song--even had the chance to say it to one of my bosses!!! LOL

(Should have said it more, as probably many others should have!!! LOL)

  • good job

  • I don't like most country, but I like this song. It is a classic.

  • This was my theme song-until I got fired :(

  • LOLOL.

  • @Jgreen4849 I relate to take I got hurt at work an they fired me. They can shove.

  • david allan coes ORIGINAL version is better and yes this is a cover coe wrote it

  • Ahh, nothing beats a good Old country song.

  • This is when country was good. Now it sucks.

  • i am not a big lover of country but when i heard this song i fell to the floor because i was so in love...

  • best days of my life were while I was unemployed, kind of a shame

  • "when I get the nerve to say" lol

  • The Dead Kennedys version is awesome (not better or worse than the original, just completely different!!), but Yello Biafra needed to speed up his singing to such an extent you don't understand a fuck of it...

  • Did you mean jello biafra.

  • Yes, Jello, not Yello...sorry for the typo...

  • I love this song!!!! One of the best there is!!!!

  • FORD= Fix Or Repair Daily.....Just kidding. I don't care what make it is, as long as it gets me where I wanna go. I used to say "Chevys are best, Chevy's are best" in the 70's. Until I got a lemon in 1993. I drive a Dodge now, lol.

Great song!! The Workers of unfair bosses anthem!!

  • No it's F***edup,Old,Rebuilt,Dodge.

  • the old ford farm tractors run better than there cars and trucks they are Pieces of Pure shit and Crap Like some of our Politicians

  • I outgrew that "Chevys are better than Fords" or "Fords are better than Chevys" stuff. I never owned a Ford, neither has my father. But people I knew in the 70's had trouble with Ford cars, like the Ford LTD, while we had little trouble with our Chevy. I thought the Ford LTD was ugly in the 70's. But as far as make, I don't care, as long as it's dependable. Chevy's were, except for a 1987 used LEMON, which the previous owner did not maintain properly. I love Mustangs, and Thunderbirds.

  • love it

  • Hell yeah, ive been stuck in the same bullshit job for 9 years, im gonna play this song for my boss when i tell them to kiss my ass

  • i know this song from the dead kennedys, but i heard it in a dukes of hazzard episode today, with a show in the boars nest with johny paycheck...

  • This video really brings back memories. My daddy would unplug the fridge, plug in the turntable and break out his old 45's while momma would fire up the internet to post a video of the record spinning. Also, to 57chevybigblock...FORDS RULE!

  • Every ford I have had has had transmissions problems. Best car I ever had was a Pontiac Grand Am.

  • I guess that's saying something .. since my first car ever was a Honda CRX.. it was alright.. but I got that Grand Am within a year. good car. Fuck a ford.

  • Got a T Bird atm. it will haul ass tho =)

  • but it's still shit

  • Ford wreckers.. trucks .. ok.. cars ooh, no no

  • hell yea!

  • dead kennedys' version was better.

  • They made a movie based on this song,it came out in 1981,I hope they put it on DVD oneday, the guy from the Airplane movies starred in it.

  • lesley nielson-

  • id like to play this song for my boss and charge into his office and give him a piledriver paul orndorff style on top of his desk lolhahahahaha

  • hop hes not on this site lolol

  • I think that most people would like to play this song to their boss, it's funny how popular this song is still, this is my most viewed video lol, it's became an " I Hate My Boss Anthem " over the years lol

  • Great song.Did DAC wrote the lyrics?

  • David Allen Coe wrote this.

  • Thanks man.I like the "my way or the highway-boys".The fact that many feel they are controversial only shows how genuine they are.

  • i dont really listen to country but i love this song

  • man 45's remember the hissing and popping now those were the days!

  • this is a good song

  • That's what I'd tell my boss if I won the state lottery. Take this job and shove it!

  • No way. The Dead Kennedys are good, yes, but just because you like them doesn't automatically make their cover better. One can't even understand the lyrics when they sing them. It's too fast, and too unoriginal. Three chords don't count as ORIGINAL.

  • yeah, but the speed of the dk cover is why i like it so much...

eather way its a great song.

  • great

  • One of the best songs ever created!!!!! Thanks for uploading it.

  • this a great song by him
