Opmerkelijk dat er hier heel veel engelsen en italianen reageren. Ik vind dat Gullit zeker in de top 10 van beste spelers aller tijden hoort.

Anders dan Cruyff of Pele kon hij op alle plekken op het middenveld, soms ook als libero en soms zelfs als nr.10 spelen. En overal even goed. Dan ben je een hele grote.

Why? Because he didn't had 100+ assists or goals... Wake up call, Zidane didn't played as a second striker, number 10, attacking midfielder. He played as a CM, or as a LMF.

So he job was to create plays, his midfield play was the best. His first touch was divine,

he produced many second assists, and he was really consistent.

He could create space from nothing, and he was there on the most important moments WC, EC, CL.

Look at the results of France with and without Zidane!
