  • At 1:49 I cringed when you rubbed the motherboard.. xD

  • I have no idea whether or not this video was helpful, because the music was so completely annoying, I just canceled this video and found another video that was teaching me the same thing WITHOUT irritating music interrupting your own dialogue.

  • man cut that stupid ass music............

  • umm fan controller?

  • It would be a cooler video if it wasnt for the crappy music

  • That's a wicked clean setup dude, I just bought an antec 900 2 days ago and I was furious when I realized how bad the custom cable management is. I think I'm gonna do the same holes too.

    Thanks for the video :D

  • I like the mod of the case and the cable management, you have given me an idea on how to get my cable management fixed up, thanks alot. I just wanted to ask what is the name of the second song on the video, not the soulja boy song the second song that plays in the background let me know if you can, please, thanks.

  • thats ok wire management but u should just get the corsair cases. they are the cleanest wire management cases i have ever seen and u dont have to do mods to the case. i just got the corsair 600t and omg it looks way nice with cable management.

  • This is really clean! I've been meaning to do some cable management in mine. How did you go about drilling the holes?

  • Honestly, Thats not that great of cable management...

  • jesus christ i couldn't watch the video because of the retarded music.

  • what did u use to cut the holes

  • Where do you buy those plastic rubber to cover up the side of the hole?

  • Now.... Great vid buuut... They always say mute if the music smells, but then we cant hear what u say! That song is just junk really pff -.-'

  • will this work on a corsair 650 w?

  • Beautiful cable management, my friend.

  • Your right, the video runs fine now for some reason. Perhaps it was being streamed from an old server at the time of posting.

At the time others agreed with me, hence all the thumbs up my comment revieved.

  • You think I can manage to drill some holes while it's fully assembled? It's my first build and I don't trust taking it apart to get rid of a few cables. I barely got it together the first time.

  • @YouHaveMetYourMaker not really man i would not reccomend drilling holes if u got everything in it allredy,,,,,but u should just take ur pc apart and stuff when it gets to dusty and ull learn how to build ur coumpter that way plus its not that hard once u know were everyhitng get pluged into ur good

  • Great looking video; having a hard time making it through the terrible embedded music. Need to turn that crap off!

  • Don't show a nice computer with a gay ass song!!

  • did you take out everything of your computer before u do the holes?

  • I just did what you sorta did with my 900. Filmed some stuff and going to upload it on Monday. Not as neat like yours, but its alright.

  • I just ordered a Zalman fan, so I need to take out the motherboard to install the fan. While doing that, I'm going to drill holes like you did for the wire management. Question, What is that rubber/plastic thing or w/e you put around the holes to protect yourself from getting cut. A friend of mine said to use straws lol. Just wondering what you used for that, thanks.

  • music in background is fucking anoying, cant hear what the fuck your saying!

  • quick question bro, the holes u added, it looks like u have clear u channel molding where u get it ?

  • absolutely killed the video with the music

  • what did you use for the rubber around the holes you drilled??

  • what did you use for the rubber around the holes you made?

  • you dont have a graphics card?

  • Great video bigchris95!

This will definitely help me improve my temps in my Antec 900. I live in a hot climate and tucking the cables underneath the hard drive bays as best as I could is still not enough for optimal airflow since the air intake from the front fans is greatly diminished due to the tucked cables.

  • drop the music... I can't watch this because of it...

  • @blackjack39 what?

  • @RealinAmerica Let's just say i really hate that kind of music. Give's me migraine

  • anec 902 is wayyy better

  • Nice man! you have inspired me to show more love to my PC, I dont have the antec 900, I have the NZXT Tempest, but i'm going to do some serious cable management

  • confusing until 8:24

now it made sense to me, COOL

  • my 900 had 2 slot cut in it already..... and its not the 902.... and def digging the 9500 led

  • Can you guys help me with this one question ?

I'm looking forward to add another fan to the side door panel of this Antec 900.

Which is a better airflow direction ?

Exhaust or the other way around???

    Many thanks.

  • @Sloppiexx: Intake for sure.

2 intakes = Side and front

    2 exhausts = Rear/top fan

  • @sloppiexx intake

  • "the other way around"

air should be flowing INTO the case there :D

simply because right there is your Graphics card, even if you don't have a Graphics card(or a small one) it will add overall cooling to your motherboard(mobo)

so it should be intake and not an exhaist fan

  • @sloppiexx

usually the side fan blows air into the computer. So the other way around.

  • what did you use to hold the fan controls to the case, the ones that are in the back of the case, I got mine hanging out the water cooling holes.

  • is that a non-standard size power supply?

  • Re the comment below--one other thing I did was to paint the interior and back of the case a dark camo green/grey tone-used cast coat iron engine enamel by Duplicolor-it' looks waaaay better than the default light grey. My next mod on this case will be to repaint the panels and bezel to get a mirror finish black--and maybe some graphic of some kind. Thanks for the vid.

  • I did basically the same kind of modding on my 900--now it is awesome--really clutter free inside. I got all the exrension cables you mention directly from Antec. One different thing I did--as my old IDE optical drive was having issues, I picked an LG usb dvd drive. That really helped to further reduce the internal clutter. Having some issues with the side panel without window staying in place, but it's not a big deal at all. Really glad I did the mod.

  • That song...

    Son, I am disappoint.

  • video = laggggg

  • Thanks for the video. Helped a lot with my antec 900 cable management.

  • argh bad song

  • YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU lol

  • SerialDiscrepancy, I have an antec 900 case and I had no problems with the 24 pin connector clearance.

  • I used to have this case, it was a bitch to organize.

  • I just build a new rig using the Antec 900 nice case...but i noticed if you have a modual power supply theres no need to drill the holes..i have a Kingwin Mach 1 800 watt and the odd cable you use kinda looks sharp to display..and i didnt like there side window on the case kinda sucked bad so i jegsawed me a bigger opening tell you without doing this id never consider useing this case..what a big f....n difference man..its like day and nite. Now my Rig is eye candy

  • too bad i did close it

  • too bad

  • LOL

  • I had some problems closing it,seeing how my PS wasn't modular and the cabling on the right was very thick and the case wasn't closing properly and it's a bit weird now but that side is where I have it against my COMPUTER DESK and the window is facing my way so it doesn't really matter right now,but I know I'll be facing some serious issues in the future, but when I upgrade to a Antec 1200 it won't be a problem and buying a new PS that is modular will be helpful.

  • @SerialDiscrepancy Yeah I have my 24 pin going out the back. Loads of clearance in the back of the Antec.

  • @SerialDiscrepancy sure he can. it can lay flat against the mobo tray.

  • I think we can do without the teletubbie style of showing us stuff...

  • what is the name of the song?

  • do you need more molex connectors to get pass the back tray panel of your case from your psu to your pc components?

  • Nice cable management,Happy modding

  • im buying this case did u drill the 2 top ones ONLY?

  • i think he drilled them all. antec 900 apparently doesnt help much with cable management

  • don't get the 900 spend the extra 50$ and get the 902

  • i ended up getting a haf 932...

  • not a bad case i got the 902 case friday

  • i think thats a better choice than the 900 get the 1200 or HAF in my case unless you want a small case

  • i want a new custom gaming computer so badly!!! This emachines BLOWS! urgh

  • ... just 3 more months until all the awesome deals.

  • or till they no longer support socket 775

  • lol I'll probably be buying a whole new comp then

  • get a barebone from tiger or newegg :)

cheap way to build a gaming computer

  • I didn't even cut any holes in my 900 and it looks better than yours.

  • how did you route your wires?

  • It's just that he spent all the time to drill holes, but it's the little things like having wires hanging out all over instead of just tie wrapping them together in one. It would look much neater if he had planned his routing in groups so he had maybe 3 large lines instead of 15 going all over the place.

  • yeah

    kk

i dont realy have any shizzzle at home to cut or press holes

need to look around and get some

  • amen :p i only has 2 holes in the side

ddnt effect the ugly cable look :(

dear god my power suply is black and the cables to :D

  • Please recor in 30fps next time, reminds me of playing crysis on my old 7600GT!

  • lol, I am still playing Crysis on my 7600gt :)

  • Hah! Same here...running two XFX 7600GT XXX's in SLI!

  • thats absolutely retarded

  • Indeed it is, however its out of necessity. I smoked my GTX 260, so I'm running what I have on hand until the replacement shows up.

  • @lolimso18

    lmfao!!!!!!!

  • @lolimso18 this video runs just fine, get a new CPU for video rendering

  • @lolimso18 24fps is industry standard :D

  • Nice vid

    Love the music

I am going to get this case but I want to know how long should the PSU wires be to fit inside it with cable management

I am talking about wires that ae connected to the MOBO

  • whats with the gay ass soulja boy music on?

  • if you don't like soulja boy, you shud definetely check out the travis barker remix, it makes it sound much better :)

  • it is the Travis barker remix.. don't you here the drumming???

  • lol I was actually playing dis vid on mute and read the comment so I thought it was the soulja boy original one :)

  • dam foo, when i heard the second song, it brought back memories from Gran Turismo 2....

  • No offense dude but you dint do anything special. sorry but fail.

  • That's really nice. I shall do that when I get my 900.

On this box the wires look like a spaghetti dish from hell - I'm surprised there's any airflow at all, to be honest. Just as well there isn't a window in the case, really.

  • damn clean that dust haa

  • Nice Cable management

  • get a better power supply

  • off what basis do you think makes your statement valid? the power supply is fine, if not one of the best suited. you dont need an uber leet power supply for such a simple setup. bet he only runs one GPU.

  • what i mean is the one that has wire management or whatever they call it. i got one in ebay for 70 bucks

  • ah i see. one problem, ebay is a reaaaaaaaaaly bad idea for pc parts. if your talking about a MODULAR PSU, for one dont buy like that. look for local places which sell medium to high end gear. PSU is the heart of a PC. dont kill it.

  • yeah i know that what i got is ocz 700watts brand new sealed psu im not a hard core games so this psu should be enought.

  • I wished the company I worked with had this version. The other version of the nine hundred tends to be more frustrating to do clean cable management on the new one (the one with zip cables instead of holes)

  • Wow. That has to be one of the tidiest cases I've seen.

I've gotta do that with mine, it's kinda a mess.

Thanks for the sort-of guidelines on how to route 'em.

  • my 900 came stock with routing holes, only 2 to the right of the mb though, could use some more but works for me.

  • Check out my cable management video for help with stock hole management

  • what did you use to cover the sharp edges of the holes (to protect the cables from getting cut)

  • Runner Grommets from home depot , lowes , or other hardware stores

  • thats pretty much along the lines of what I want to do to my 900. except my main power (24 pin and 8 pin) are perfectly fine to run over the mobo. The motherboard side panel actually sits a bit off the inside panel of the case, so those wires should fit in nicely

  • What do you guys use to put around the metal edge of the holes that you drill out? I see something there. Is it plastic or rubber?

  • get a sata data and power dvd drive..wires are alot thinner and will make your case look alot better

  • what the song name?

  • soulja boi travis barker remix

  • question is... can you still close it on that side XD lol if so good job if not.... well you know what im going to say XD

  • How did you drill the holes?

  • Drill + circle drill attachment for metal found at home depot and lowes. If you dont want to drill,. check out my antec 900 tutorial for cable management without drilling ! =]

  • WOW great Job. i cannot do this. but i just bought one and there are two slots for your 24 in and 24 out. that is nice.

  • wheres your video card???????

  • not there :) probably so you can see the wiring clearly

  • also h is reaig i side alot so he problably

took aprecatio so he didnt snap it off

and that would be very bad

  • Hey, i have a question, is it possible to spraypaint cables???????? Cause i thought of spraying the inside of my case matt black and i want to know i can do the same for the cables that are visible from the side of the case, to make them blend in. Thanks..

  • mój wujek ma na imię Antek ,

    zajebisty film,ogładam codziennie 100 razy...chyba zrobie podobny.

  • Cluba filmy są lepsze :P

  • a ja wole jego :P bardziej podoba mi się rig na 680i i sli z 8800gt.

a i 780i jest w sumie gorszą płytą od 680i gdyby nie to, że 680i nie wspiera qx9650.

  • just a ? but woulnt haveing a bottom mount psu with the fan facing up towards your gpu cause a dead spot robbing the gpu of air the reasone im asking is because im building a pc w/ a cm690 or 9hundred w/ the cm690 you can mount the psu either way just dont know what is best

  • I don't recommend the cm690. I've had experience with it and it was horrible. It has horrible cable management and is kind of small. But antec 900 is awesome I totally recommend it. the antec 900 is a gamers dream.

  • i have the CM690, and yeah your right with the cable management being difficult on it, as you will see in some of my videos, but i suppose i did my best considering its my first build, which is why i got the case, it was cheap too =]

  • Get the Antec 900 and you will not be disappointed! I have one and I love it. I use the stock holes and manage the cables perfectly. Check out my Tutorial in my videos. Id also recommend the same PSU I have, but thats just me since I like its looks.

  • there are stock holes? because im going to get an antec 900 and i need to know befor i buy

  • In newer version of the 900 there are holes (intake, outtake) for water cooling. I have yet to see one in stores now that doesn't have this

  • good i need to have cable management

i dont got a case yet but my stock one is really messy

  • who cares :) The only reason why you could give a damn using the antec is that you see the wiring through the glass, and it can be an eyesore I guess

  • Yes there are stock holes. I bought my Antec 900 from newegg and it came with two ovular rectangular holes precut for cable management. Just look at my videos =]

  • buy the new version - best mid tower case ;)

  • look at my Rig video and you will see my PSU, cos i have the CM690, its a good case for a first build, cable managment is hard but its an overall good case =]

  • It must take a long time to figure out how to route all the cables in your case in respect to the motherboard and fan positions and stuff, no? And how annoying would you say it is to change wire routing when you get new parts and such? Because I'm leaning towards buying an Antec 900, so I'd just like to know what a consumer thinks before I buy.

  • Lol Its easy. Ill help you with anything you need

  • Cool

  • Get a drill that plugs in. Coreless drills suck.

  • looks awesome man

i would highly recommend painting the inside black it really hides the cables especially the ones with black sleeving also it just looks awesome

also thanks for the tip on those ide's they are pretty nice ill have to go look for some if i get an ide drive :D

  • My 8800GT Loves 78C I can't imagine 3!!!

  • good video, but bad song choice,

  • Thank you haha. Nice. The Antec's are AWESOME.

  • what do u use to drill the holes in the case?

  • You buy an drill bit from a hardware shop that's like a circle that just slips into a normal dril, :)

  • oh thanks man

  • umm a drill

  • PLEASE CAN ANYONE TELL ME,, HOW LONG IS THE POWER SUPPLY's MAINBOARD AND 4 PIN ATX CONNECTORS,, IN CM, THANKYOU, i

  • depends what powersupply u have

  • what power supply do you have? because i dont think mine has long enough cables or something

  • Extension cables ;)

  • Also what are adapters on the drill that you used to make the holes in the case??

  • What size holes do you drill in the case starting from the top??

  • Where did you get your rubber grommets for your holes that you drilled?

  • Nice job. As far as the Antec 900 goes, Cable management is a bitch, so you gotta get creative with wutever setup ya got. I like how you put that clear protective stuff around the holes you drilled. Wish I knew where to get some.

  • where can i buy extendors??

  • how do you drill those holes??

  • With a drill, lol.

  • lol, sorry I did not watch till end

  • Although you've done a nice job hiding the majority of the wires, the ones that are still visible are rather messy.

The next time you re-wire your system, I'd suggest focusing on making them flow nicely throughout the case, rather than random bunches of wires crammed wherever there's some space. (for example, behind your CD/DVD Drive(s).

  • antec's are immensly anoying to manage. for some reson the cables never do what you want.

i have one myself and it took me quite a while to get it half decent

i wanted to cut holes in it too but my new mobo has its main power on the left so there is no room to put the hole or cable

antec design isint that good in cable management

    the fans pwn tough

  • yeh, i couldn't hear what he was saying... so keep it to yourself.FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You should get your ears checked.

  • Just curious I skipped around on the video and noticed the back side of the case wasn't reattached I just got this tower and was curious if it still went back on fine.

  • heh i think i'll do something similiar because my power supply has way to many cables in the way.

  • get a creative xfi

  • hey dude great vid, thanks alot, i just copied what you done today and it worked out great, cheers

  • Thanks for a great vid mate :)

  • Great video dude, thanks alot for helping!

  • MIG tell me you can listen to him talking about the case and the music level isn't high. It is. It's too high. The muci is fine, but the level is too high..

  • Can't enjoy a video with shit music flooding your ears instead of the talking now can you

  • Well, idiot. You're not supposed to "enjoy" the video. You're supposed to listen and learn, n00b.
