  • SOPA

  • I have never known anyone who can keep perfectly to their own words while having someone else yelling in their face etc. He truly is good at acting.

  • Graham is hilarious when he freaks out XD

  • The only way to cover a political debate.

  • I love the version of this sketch with Marty Feldman!

  • 2 people are women

but wait..... there are no women on the internet

  • John almost lost it at 3:23

  • The first 10 seconds of what he says are the most important.

  • I think it's my father-in-law

  • At about 1:50 did anyone else think he sounded like a turkey?

  • He's a brilliant comic, that's how! :)

  • He's a brilliant comic, that's how! :)

  • I forgot the question..lol

  • LOL.....

  • 1 person doesn't know the question.

  • 2:24 XD

  • I think we all know people like this

  • these two are by far my favorite Monty Python actors....I still don't know how John Cleese can keep it together lol

  • Dr Rhomboid Goatcabin. LOL

  • Garham always does the best freakouts. Bloody genius.

  • One of the GREATEST comedy sketches ever !!!

It's enough that Chapman's character is named Dr. Rhomboid Goatcabin, but Chapman's expressions , vocal interjections and the bass drum with horn are so over the top, and Cleese manges to keep it all under control...BRILLIANT !!!

  • And by freedom of speech he means...?

  • This ruthless concentration on one's self is a successful irritant wildly practiced by woman. I once demonstrated this at a large party.

I stood in the middle of the room and said very loudly

"The problem with women is that they always take things personally"

four women immediately replied "Well I don't"

  • the troll gods he he

  • lol!!!!

  • Wait.... they have free speech in Britian?

  • @JelLoSnArK there is no free speech anywhere

  • What a name - haha!

  • 1:35 thats not fair.... there was time now... there was time... thats not fair!

  • The freedom of speech sketch is off At Last the 1948 Show

  • "shut up, shut up!'' love this

  • graham chapman's performance was absolutely brilliant

  • Woah, I'm cured. Until tomorrow.

  • is this why Tom Cruise hopped on top of Oprah's couch?

  • @pineapplesontrees No, it's because he's a retard. :P

  • Reminds me of FOX News...

  • Unfortunately all present interviews looks like that.

  • This is a work of pure genius and talent

  • Oh my god John Cleese is an incredible actor. How can he stay so serious??

  • Has anyone else pointed out that this sketch was done earlier that year with Marty Feldman (in glorious B&W)- although the harpooning is pure Chapman.

Was a similar sketch done at all for Python?

  • PMSL! Would expect nothing less of the best comedy group ever

  • @LeinadEkkru curious, whats "PMSL"?

  • So, is there freedom of speech? Guess not. lol

  • Amazing how John can keep his train of thought with all that going on.

  • "I know the question! I know the question!!! Shut Up! SHUT UP!!!"

    lol

  • reminds me of interviewers on fox news

  • politics lol

  • The thing that impresses me the most about Monty Python is that they all manage to keep a straight face through the whole thing. I know I couldn't.

  • they can't keep a straight face, each scene takes more than an hour to film, because they're on the floor laughing, from the clip

  • in Hungary we have a showman just like Cleese in this skatch =D (but it's ok here, because he is much more funny than the invited guests)

  • I fully expected Chapman to forget the question at the end. But their's was just amazing. Couldn't stop laughing.

  • John Cleese: the only man in the world who could keep a straight face at Graham Chapman.

  • LOL at 2:40 !

  • Oh my god, Graham you were such a genius. I love his face at 1.09, 1.13, and 1.30 when he's trying to answer!

  • Boy, I wish somebody would stick a billhook into Bill O'Reilly.

  • Well thats a terrible thing to wish. If I said that about Obama people'd wanna kill ME. You shouldn't wish death on anyone.

  • Graham Chapman is awesome here! lol

  • lol!

  • it's a spear.

  • yur right it's just a simple straight blade spear

  • halberd actually

  • I think he got killed by a boom-mic with the foamy part taken off the end of it. It really is hard to tell though

  • I think it's a halberd. I thought I could see the blade and the hook at about 3:39.

  • @PanicToThePeople Yep, very clearly a renaissance-period halberd. The axe blade isn't very pronounced and concavely shaped, the shape is very light and slim compared to earlier polearms like the original swiss voulge. This example has a pronounced thrusting piece, as was popular since the late 16th century. A halberd like this was no longer a weapon of war and was mainly carried by officers and guardsmen (famously the swiss guard, even today), as firearms began to dominate the battlefield.

  • those english people have got literature

  • Damn how can he stay serious like that !!

  • @fullweedman He's John Cleese. That's how.

  • @fullweedman simple. They're amazing actors :)

  • @fullweedman lots of practice most comedians have to practice it (I know I do) in bloopers you often see them bursting out in laughter:)

  • @fullweedman always wondered!

  • @fullweedman Comedy Genius.

  • @fullweedman He is a god of comedy, that's how

  • @robobrain44449

Ecleeseates 13:3 - and He said, "and now for something completely different."

  • @FishSlappingGenius exactly

  • I would say he is not free to speak

  • Oh how clever, I never thought about it that way!

  • ha ha the man got killed by a spade. impaled through the spine.

I disturb people by poking them

  • he was killed by a spike, not a spade

  • THANK YOU

  • no problem at all =)

and now for something completely different!

    *jumps out hte window*

  • who?

  • i did 0_o

  • GOOD LORD!

    When?

  • it was a reference to Monty Pythons flying sircus

  • I find it amazing that anyone with any knowledge of comedy at all would not know the phrase "and now for something completely different." and what it means. Python is just such a key part of comedy.

  • i know, they must never ever have even heard of Monty Python.

    and for something completely different

*gets hit by a knight with a rubber chicken*

  • Hahaha you must check that out, they have a whole film called "and now for something completely different".
