Why not? One would be foolish to carry six heavy parcels with one hand, when both ands are available. It's the sound that matters, and it's hard to get it in the opening of a fugue, so exposed, yet vitally important to set the exact tempo, precise articulation, etc. Who cares if one plays with with one's toes? It's the sound that matters, and she gets a marvelous sound, joyous and jocular, witty and uplifting throughout. This is a much more difficult piece than it sounds. I know; I'm playing it.
She has that look like my mom did back then. lol the big hair and sort of funky clothes. lol good playing tho. I just got finished learning moonlight sonata so i thought i would check out some other stuff
Beautiful, wonderful control. I've always loved that particular fugue. So full of life and joy, typical Bach. And what is your wife playing today... ?
My wife still loves classical music. She recently worked on Moonlight Sonata, plays the piano regularly for our church, and played in a concert with the Westminster Brass not too long ago. She is a mom of two small children now though, so piano has been crowded out to as large degree.
Your playing of Bach is full of taste and energy. Good job
