  • Hey, I was looking thru internet and I was reading about how he trained these horses through cruel whippings and domination tactics!!! How could anyone treat animals in such a way? I am no longer his fan at all!!! I read about people who went and took his training lessons and he gave them a lesson in making a foal lay down and it involved whipping them hard enough that they finally gave up on standing back up until allowed!!!! he is Cruel and needs Whipped!!

  • Ok, guy in beginning was scary!!!! I thought I had clicked on the wrong link for a second. Thank goodness, Pignon and his beautiful horses scared that clown off!!!!

  • I just have a question. I'm not saying he's doing it wrong or anything, what he does seems great but..why are his horse's ears always pinned back. I know it happens with certain tricks, whether they are mad or not but they are not supposed to have their ears -always- pinned back.

  • @Naessly

PS: I've seen other's comments and..my horses looove playing around, bucking and stuff like that. When we play and work together, they never have their ears pinned back o.O If they do, it's because they don't want to do what we ask of them (Although they will do it anyway, but they're showing us that they are not content with the activity). Also, if it was because they are listenning..they wouldn't be -that- pinned back. There's a difference. Now I don't mean offense to anyone!

  • @Naessly Your right! Look him up! His training methods involve breaking a horses spirit until they are afraid to not do what he tells them. You want true beauty and friendship with a horse? Look up Frederic Pignon and his horses. He does not beleive in using force at all and he always lets his horses just be themselves. You can even find his training beleifs and methods on the internet and they involve bonding with the horse without fear.

  • @ForlornSuicide Yea, I've seen frederic, I prefer him.

And I think he worked with parelli once, that's the method I use. That's just what you're describing: Bonding with the horse without fear.

  • @Naessly Yes, your right! That is what I am referring to...bonding with the horse without fear and with love and friendship!!Frederic makes me laugh as much as my own horses do when they snort and laugh at me and kick up their heels to run away. Yet, let me say this. If I go out to my stables in tears...looking for acceptance..I always have a horses nose in my face, nuzzling me and snorting so soflty as if to comfort me. This is truly friendship and love.

  • @ForlornSuicide

Amen to that! Just like parelli said: when you take off the halter, you are left with one thing: the truth.

You know, I believe no one can understand what bonding with a horse means until they use natural horsemanship correctly. I'm selling my horse right now and it's so much harder than it would have been a few years ago. They aren't only horses, they are partners :)

  • @Naessly I am sorry you are selling your horse. I know how much that must hurt you.I can feel your pain.:( My horses are my friends and I would not be able to sell them without pain. :'( I have some friends who beleive that quantity is better than quality, which is why I only have two and they have ten or more and never get to experience that beautiful bond and level of friendship that I have with my two friends. They know me and I know them and we exist equally.

  • @Naessly Apparently Frederic and Jean-Francois are brothers...but with very different techniques.

  • If an animal don't do what you're asking, it's probably because he didn't understantd your question, look at this man. BEAUTIFUL

  • It s so cool the horses stay calm with all the applause

And how hes doing this :)

  • OH the little one is so fat

  • @Adrenaline552 C'est toi la fat.

PS: Petit Coeur on t'aime! <3

  • Awesome Bravo!! Amazing relationship between a man and his horses!

  • This is natural horsemanship in its true form!! He gently shows the horses what he wants of them, just by raising his hand or a little touch of the whip. The horses treat him with all respect!! He is the supreme stallion in a pack of female horses!! Does any one know if that is the reason why he choose female horses??

  • honestly.. It looks like the horses wants to bite him or something.. their ears are pointing backwards.. and they look angry and scared sometimes ;o but I think it's cool what he can do with the horses.. I just don't know if the horses is enjoying it..

  • @TinkaPL horses love to run and buck and they often have their ears back so i dont think they are unhappy

  • mi je dit respect il est tri=op fort ce

    gar

  • mi je dit respect il est tri=op fort cde gar

  • i was at the royal welsh show yesterday and after watching him me and my mum tracked him down and i got to see him and get a picture he is so polite and patient with his fans even though his english isn't great when i was there these two americans were saying how what he did was like magic and he seemed taken back by it and just kept saying thank you praise be to god which in his accent sounds very sweet

  • He is amazing! I went on a picture with him, great horseman. I like the way how he takes one horse and the others just wait.

  • C'est pro!! c'est poetique!!! la classe!!!!!chapeau bas !

  • J'aime !!!

  • I don't like it. The horses look unhappy and the whipping the horse in the face when at 8:59? Don't like it.!

  • @specialstuff94 : those horses are totally free to do what they want. They choose to do what he says. He doesn´t whip them, the whip is just used a signal, like a longer arm.

  • @kirafan68 so if he was closer he'd smack them in the face with his hand?

  • @specialstuff94 :*sigh* No, he does not smack them at all, he just shows them what he wants them to do. Like when I train a horse on a longe: the long whip is used as a signal for the horses: whip upright: everything ok, whip pointig at the rear end: horse should move more quickly, whip pointing at the shoulder: horse walks in a bigger circle, whip lowered parallel to longe: slow down, whip lowered before longe: stop!

  • @kirafan68 I get what you're saying about lunging, but when you train your horses to lunge you don't teach them by smacking them or forcing them, do you? This guy is; he smacks his horse in the face, if you look, and I have no idea what he does behind the scenes to initally train them. And I'm pretty sure your horse doesn't go around with its ears flat back; if it does, you would stop wouldn't you? And look at yourself and see if you're doing something wrong to confuse or annoy the horse.

  • @specialstuff94

i know this is too late but iven seen him

    he LOVES HIS HORSES lol

and he doesnt smack them, he just touches them sometimes :)

so i guess thats just the normal reaction for a horse
