I know....At the time I was in Hab depression......and to hear it now..just makes ya fuckin sick to yer stomach doesnt it. Rucinsky turned out to be alright. But Kovalenko was a joke and Thibault never met the hype. What can ya do? They showed Roy total respect and let him go to the best. If it was up to me..I would have begged Roy to stay and let him know that I had every intention of telling Tremblay to pack his shit. Ill always hate Tremblay for what he did.

I absolutely agreee with you. Patrick Ro y will always be my favorite NHL player. When he was traded in December 1995, I hated so much the Canadiens organization of not trying harder to keep Roy. I hate Mario Tremblay so much for that incendent on December 2nd 1995. That was a great turning point in Canadiens history. They has so many bad and only average seasons since then except for the 2007-2008 season. When Roy left I started rooting for the Avs and I am still today. Today's Hab??? Nothing.

@brucebanner2222 This is so sick because it describes my feelings exactly. I was a huge habs fan but when he was traded I realized I was a Roy fan 10x more so. Began routing for the Avs until he retired. Haven't been a Habs fan since and probably never will be.

I am with you. I thought that after Patrick Roy retired from NHL, I would start liking the Habs again, but that never happened. Then I thought that the day the Canadiens will retired Roy's number 33 to the rafters at the Bell Center, then maybe I will start rooting for the Habs. That didnt happen. I hate them so much since December 1995. Tonight Colorado beat the Sharks in San Jose for game 1, 2-1. Great victory of the Avalanche.
