  • In my opinion, it's the only okay song on Pablo Honey.

  • pablo honey is so underrated!

  • Day 7 looking for Porkypie99's comment. . . Food supplies running low.

  • @Exyile100 lol !

  • @Exyile100 press ctrl+F or F3 and type the username.

  • hmm i don't like the second part of the song...without that blow out would be my favorite off the album

  • Been a while since I listened to this forgot what an absolute gem it is :)

  • 3.20 Blow my mind!

  • love this song :P

  • Best song on the album.

  • in love with this album

  • great song precursor of things to come!

  • i dont want the end to end

  • <3 this song

  • I love this song. At one point it started to remind me of Foo Fighter's Generator, another song I love. Really dig the mellowness of it. I agree with eyebal, they really do know how to end an album.

  • Such a perfect song, the chilled start and the fierce end.

  • I heard this song for the first time when I smoked my first joint. The mellow lounge-like beginning put a smile on my face and then I got ultra-paranoid during the ending. Good times. BTW, Jonny strums his guitar with a paintbrush at the end.

  • This really foreshadows their later work........especially Karma Police (compare the endings of the two) They really do expand on their sound

  • 3:12 onward makes me hope Radiohead seriously looks into shoegaze one day.

  • @AnimeGuy9 That would be awesome

  • Thank God for Radiohead.....

  • Oh god, that 1:21 mark - It's a supernova of sounds. It makes me see colours.

  • This could fit on In Rainbows.

  • @VeniUbique

Some tracks off In Rainbows were demos around this time.

  • @VeniUbique yeah, but in my opinion, if this ended up on In Rainbows, it would have to be a little better worked

  • I think this song starts real radiohead.

  • This IS the best song off of Pablo Honey.

  • chords anyone?

  • @dgmc09productions Em with pinkie on the high e string 2 fret,bass low e on 3 fret,then A,then bass low e on 2 fret.Repeat repeat repeat and then it is A +pinkie on high e 4 fret and Am pinkie 3 fret. :D

  • acoustic version is better

  • @1005MYBABY absolutely not

  • This song sounds like it should be on the bends

  • You, Creep and Blowout are the only ones worth listening to.

  • @smitty618 + Anyone Can Play Guitar, Ripcord, and Prove Yourself

  • @Crossss8 I used to think Thinking About You was the sh*t too

  • Love the Lyrics

  • wow

  • @Porkypie99 No it doesn't. If something sucks, then it would have more dislikes than likes. See how that works?

  • @antisadism To each his own..

  • @antisadism Wish it worked that way, however, stuff like Rihanna and Shakira have more likes and dislikes, and it sucks.

  • @Porkypie99 you suck.

  • overwhelming !

  • best song on pablo honey!!

  • Hands down my favorite Radiohead song. It is one of the few on Pablo that I like. The ending is amazing and the interlude before I am fused.... The end sounds like an orgasm that never stops

  • PS Surely the best ending to any song ever heard!

  • Best WIMPY music ever!

  • @sosijiz1971 Is that supposed to be some kind of ironic statement? because the song ends with an incredibly powerful and loud guitar chord.

  • very under-rated album. Put off listening to anything from it other than creep for a very long time. Still not as good as the bends or OK computer, but an excellent debut all the same, and way ahead of most of their contemporaries

  • @canadiangalzo This is better than The Bends.

  • I'm getting psyched for The King of Limbs!

  • @luap119

    So do I...

  • This song sounds like it belongs in HTTT or OK computer. brilliant song

  • Comment removed

  • They look like a band of teenagers on the picture

  • @rafiwel Yeah, especially the guy with the bald head. Where did you go to school, a cancer ward?

  • @jokedejojo I like your sens of humour

  • I heard that this album wasnt as good as the others, yet this song is AMAZING

  • This song.....feels good man.

  • how about this.. opinions are like ASSHOLES....everyone has one :)

  • @birdyyyful & they all stink

  • 4 retarded people got into the video somehow.....

  • @PSNAlejandroMagno33 3 of them thumbed you up

  • Seriously, how could this song not be the most popular on Pablo Honey? Oh, and yes, even the acoustic is just as intense.

  • best way to troll radiohead fangirls... say they stole ideas from muse ;)

favourite song on pablo along with anyone can play guitar

  • The version of this that I have on my iPod is way slower. I like it more because it's more relaxing. But this is cool, too.

  • In hindsight, this song seems out of place on Pablo Honey, because it sounds like it could have been on OK Computer or Hail to the Thief. Way ahead of its time and surely the stand-out track on Pablo Honey.

  • opinions are like elbows, everyone has one

  • @birdyyyful Not everyone.

  • @birdyyyful

Oh no! I have two! D: Should I have my extra one checked out by a doctor?

  • @DigitalBookWorm hahaha hardy har har

  • @birdyyyful i've got two

  • @birdyyyful I have 3 and a half.... I don't know what's wrong with YOU....

  • Most excellent band

  • How come the recording of Creep seems to have much better quality, as opposed to this song.

  • TUNE!

  • colin greenwood looks like my grampa xD

  • It's hard to put into words the feeling you get when you reach the 1:21 mark. It's like what one would expect to hear if he or she suddenly saw God, lol.

  • is it just me or does remind you of some songs on in rainbows like jigsaw falling into place, weird fishes etc..

  • @shreadhead96

Totally! I've always felt like this song was a good 10 years ahead of its time. It pointed at the Kid A through In Rainbows period of their career.

  • I remember when Pablo Honey came out. Me and a friend used to argue about this song. I loved it and he hated it.

This bares more relevance to their later works than anything else on Pablo Honey.

  • a monster of a song and a brilliant album

  • Sounds like the Beatles if you cave your head in clumsily with a spanner and pop a fish tank on your head, however, if you are lucky enough to be able to enjoy this without these optional accesories, you'll hear a right crackin band I tell thee.

  • Not only is this song one of their best...it is one of the best songs from the past 20-30 years. I love the way they infuse rock with a bit of jazz, combined with the ethereal vocals of Yorke. Simply an amazing song if you appreciate music for what it is supposed to be.

  • You know, i like some of radiohead's stuff, but mostly, i'm not a fangirl, i'm notr a fangirl of any single band, and i have to say from an unbiased oppinion, pablo honey is really a ripoff of nirvana.

  • Man, Radiohead always knows how to end an album.

  • @eyebal not really. The last tracks on In Rainbows, Hailt to the Thief and King of Limbs are easily amongst the worst radiohead songs

  • @8888111188887777 Videotape is one of the best songs that I ever listen to

  • @RainBeaf When I ranked every radiohead song, i put it in the bottom 10th percentile.

  • @8888111188887777 Uhm, I'm not the biggest fan of Videotape, but it's definitely a good song! Along with Separator. and The Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll.) flat out amazing. Thom really puts emotion into that song, I guess some people just can't seem to notice.

  • @ItRagdoll It's give up the ghost, videotape and wolf at door. And yes, i ranked all 120 or so radiosongs in a playlist on youtube and those 3 are in the bottom 10.

  • @8888111188887777 No, Separator is the last track on the King of Limbs! Give up the Ghost is the second to last! Give up the Ghost is currently my favorite on that album right now.

  • @ItRagdoll ok my bad then. Point taken. But Give up the Ghost sucks and seperator doesnt.

  • @8888111188887777 I love wolf at the door. I love that tune.

  • song is simply brilliant!

  • BESTESTESTEST

  • This is not radiohead's weakest album! I love it from beginning to end as I do all the others!!! Still love it when the pull one of these out live!

  • LMAO they ripped off the Peanuts theme. I still love Radiohead.

  • @RaymondDundas i hear it!

  • This song and 'You' FTW

  • Epic exit to an album, its almost as if it was setting the tone for The Bends. So brilliant.

  • 4 people missed the like button

  • I love this song, there is no way you can compare albums with radiohead, because each is a different moment and different mood.

  • 4 people need to have their ears checked

  • Almost post-punk sounding...

  • I agree Particle, 'Pablo Honey' is just remarkable .....

  • Anybody know how they get the feedback with the guitars, around 2:20 and on?

  • @wulord check out ed's gear (the feedback is his job, you can see on live version)

    sigur-ros.it/franz/RHG/index.html

  • The song Radiohead is most proud of from this album.

  • nice

  • So beautiful <3

  • hey guys, i usually don't go around leaving comments like this but my band recently got back a recording and i am trying to get people who will leave us some feedback (constructive critics welcomed).

To find the song just type in Lamplight Sanctuary in the search engine and we should be like the first vid. Song is called IN A DREAM.

  • I am still alive. Thank you. cause I am fused.

  • AWESOME song !!!!! :)

  • This song always reminds me of being in a grocery store or elevator haha. Wouldn't be surprised if this influenced Weezer's Burdnt Jamb. Such a great song though.

  • The "spacey" sound of the guitar - from 2:28 or so onwards - always reminds me of Pink Floyd. A great album closer, and the live version on the Live at the Astoria DVD blew my mind even more. ;)

  • Several songs off the album show that the band had potential for something great. This song however, didn't show potential, it simply was great. While the album might not be radiohead quality for us elitist snob fans, I know if I was in a band I'd kill to have an album this good. It's like radiohead being human.

  • great...all of them...classic stuff...Johnie's favorite song...cant ya tell...then the acoustic w/the poises..the seattle movement...ahhhh ya! Frosting on the beat!

  • great...all of them...classic stuff...Johnie's favorite song...cant ya tell

  • Probably the best song on "Pablo Honey." I just can't get it outta' my head... Probably this (besides Creep) is the song that lifts the album from good to brilliant. :)

  • Pablo honey doesnt suck...

    Because of this song...

This is a song that kills many from the bends..

But hail to the thief is the best :P Myxomatosis and where i end and you begin

  • well none of their albums are bad but i disagree with hail to thief as best. OK Computer is number one in my mind.

  • I bought this album in '95 after buying The Bends.

I really though this was the best album at the time and I'm not a huge fan of the direction the music has gone in... But you can't knock the genius.

I think in the same purchase I bought Blood sugar sex magik (RHCP) and Throwing Copper (Live)

  • HEY they really rock!!!!!

  • it doesn't mater how much you guys kiss radioheads hairy butts just say you love it as much as they did i love it though

  • If I was this age in '93, and I heard this, I would probably have said "This is what they will become."

I'd be right. But hindsight is always 20/20.

  • yeah! you guys should remember that each album is a improvment on the previous one so you cant look back and say how crap a previous one was...it all about topping you biiggest achievment with something better! and they have done this everytime!!

  • I like it acoustic more but this is pretty good too.

  • best tune on pablo honey, pisses all over creep

  • I always kinda always related to Creep, so I liked it better for that reason. The uncensored version, of course. I like this song more now, because I'm really beginning to understand it and connect with it now. I connect with a lot of Radiohead songs. Maybe I should get checked out, because most of their songs are really sad. :P

  • no need to checked out society your perfectly sane-i love/relate to loads of rheads songs as well.the pyramid song is my personal fav'i jumped in the river what did i see, blacked eyed angels swam wih me'

  • @zebrahead32 hahaha agreed

  • @zebrahead32 i don't really like pablo honey, don't get me wrong i'm a diehard RH freak but not alot of songs impressed me in this album, blow out is one of my fav radiohead songs, reminds me when i was in new york

  • @zebrahead32 it is. hands down.

  • @zebrahead32 So true. So true.

  • @zebrahead32 Totally agree!

  • Brilliant song. Brilliant album. Period.

  • Weakest Album, you guys are jackasses, yeah they had better recieved albums, but pablo honey is 10x better than the shit thats out today,

  • i know music and kid A was great you just hate anything that doesnt cry about girls breaking your soft heart

  • WEAKEST ALBUM - YET GOOD

  • I can go with that

  • The term "WEAKEST ALBUM" doesn't apply to Radiohead. We loved Pablo Honey, and nearly 20 years later, we've progressed with them and love them even more.

  • Very good point. They just constantly add to their music. I think that this album may have been largely tailored to find a label to promote it, though, because it has great songs like this alongside some much more shallow tracks on the album. If the whole album had music like this, a label wouldn't have touched it with a 50-foot pole in '93, because it's too esoteric and experimental. I think this might actually qualify as a weakest album just because it was weakened to appease the label.

  • Truth You Speak.

  • @ParticleFarticle Ok then. but it is still their weakest, everyone will agree.

  • @tuvalwolf

    Wait a second, Beowulf.

5 months ago you said I speak the truth, and then one week ago you recant.

My point in the the beginning was that no Radiohead album should be considered weak.

They started out as young, but intelligent, punks and now they're at the centre of pure musical artistry.

  • @Bagelbutcher Touché.

  • @ParticleFarticle No, Pablo is definitely their weakest album. It's not bad, but it's nowhere near as good as their others.

  • @aRubberSoul What about Amnesiac and Kid A? I mean those two had gems but as albums I couldn't put up with them for long. I appreciate they needed to change their direction musically for a bit but it really wasn't my thing. Having said that, Pyramid Song and Optimistic are two of my favourite Radiohead songs. Pablo was the last album I've gotten round to listening to and it way surpassed my expectations with album tracks like this one.

  • Yes, this is a solid album indeed. It just is a bit of conventional in some ways, being this song an amazing stand out.

  • Amazing song !!!

  • I AM SCARED!!!! JUST INCASE I BLOW OUT!!!!. this album is superb

  • its i am fused

  • cheerz!!!

  • sounds more like scared though, i havent googled it like a sad bastard. no offence intended

  • i didn't Google it mate.. i just listened .Ya dont have be such an arse when someone corrects u

  • "You," "Lurgee," and "Blow Out" are the only three songs I listen to off of Pablo Honey.

  • You, Prove yourself and creep are my 3 fav from that album

  • I've just noticed, it sounds very in Rainbowy.

  • Best song on the album.

  • My favourite from Pablo Honey. :)

  • the remix sound better

  • the main riff reminds me of the peanuts theme

  • what's this song about?

please explain, i'm too dumb to figure it out!

  • anyone here heard the version of this on the B side to the Creep CD single. Much better mix and more intense. Love to get hold of it again.

  • Pablo Honey is my favorite, but I agree there is no bad Radiohead album. been thinking about you is the ultimate ex song. creep is raw beauty. and blowout was the clue to what was to come. great band. one of my faves. thank you gentlemen for being casually mighty.

  • Acoustic version > Album version

  • I so adore their music..

  • there introducing this song back into their set, cant wait to hear it live, what a belter tune to end a gig on!

  • oh wow, thanks for the heads up. I hope they keep this on their set list. I haven't even seen them live and would be a huge regret if I never do.

  • best pablo honey song

  • I was looking everywhere for this song!! It's amazing, I love it. <3

  • there's a live accoustic version from a radio show somewhere. so awesome.

  • completely different rendition but also completely awesome

  • wich is completely awesome by the way
