  • use foxyproxy and the tor network to watch iplayer inside firefox outside of the UK, easy.

  • This is all crap! You can not watch UK tv outside UK unless you pay for a proxy AND have a UK tv license.

  • idk , but it aint blocking me for some reason even though im in the us

  • they are integrating iplayer into TV sets soon so that BBC can have an excuse to charge the license fee

sly fuks, they think we are stupid

  • haha! lol its quite funny because im in UK and i know that to watch programs your ned to pay for a TV License it's also why the BBC has no commericails during programs =]

  • I'm not in the UK, but I'd like to pay to for a BBC license. Where do I sign up?

  • You can't sign up. You need to live in the UK to be able to pay a TV Licence.

  • @btypirate call them? contact numbers on the website. just customer services, they wont mind you paying extra. thing is, theyll ask you why youd want to pay, since you cant legally access their tv or iplayer... obviously it will be illegal when you pay though!

  • you dont need a tv license to watch programs someone else has recorded for you, just dont watch or record as there being broadcast

  • Wow, what an exciting video. You are one brilliant film maker...

  • cant i detect just a tiny but a sarcasm there?

  • Oh, of course not, none at all...

Oh really? what about the Johnathan ross situation?

Licence fee payers can indeed influence all apsects of the bbc, from thier presenters to the programmes etc etc.

Mabye if more people sent thier views into the beeb instead of voicing thier concerns on youtube.......

  • I had this problem NTL assigned me an irish IP.. what I did was to release my ip address and let my isp find me a new IP (search google on how to do this).. as I was going through a router I had to plug my computer directly into the modem and release/renew the IP.. then I cloned my router to have the computers mac address (a unique key each computer has).

  • @flyingcarp000 wow sounds so easy

  • Bit of a scam as you to connect to PC on a network in the UK. Waste of time if you can't

  • You can watch iplayer in the usa I do :P

  • How did you figure out how to watch Iplayer from the US?

  • Try Refresh the page. The UK has this thing called a television licence, it ensures our television is free from crap and is kept at a decent quality level. If you live outside the UK you cant watch UK television. Contact your ISP and request an IP that relates to the country you live. It should work then.

  • You mean it ensures you pay for television that of quality you can in no way influence.

  • Its to do with YOUR IP address, not the BBC's fault but yours!!!!

  • Erm, because you think I don't understand that?

  • Is this still happening
