I don't think Krist has ever recovered from Kurt's death. There are some videos on here where he gets noticeably mournful. In one video he implores listeners to not do heroin. I'm sure he has many regrets over how things ended for Kurt Cobain. Best wishes Krist. You were part of one of the greatest rock bands in history.

krist seems so much cooler now than when he was young. in a lot of the old nirvana interviews he didn't sit well with me for some reason. he seems more laid back now i guess.

I don't know that you could say Krist is a top 5 bass player-Flea-McCartney-John Paul Jones-John Entwistle-Geddy Lee-and that's just big name players in rock off the top of my head. It doesn't really matter. It's one of those things where he was the best choice for Nirvana; and he completed their great circle and that's enough IMO. The proof of his playing is in their great music.

As simple as this mans bass lines were, this man was the man who got me into the bass guitar. His humor at the time never got old to me.

And his current political views today are, in my opinion, the best ideas that need to be presented to our government. His founding of JAMPAC, and his current chair in FairVote show that rock musicians aren't all psychos.

For some, Dave is their faviorite member of Nirvana, for most others, it's Kurt, but for me, it's without a doubt Krist A. Novoselic.

I love Krist. He contributed so much towards Nirvana and carried the flag so often during interviews. So much of the catchy phrases that we associate with Nirvana-- the public face of them-- was spun by Krist. He is a legend and a great man and I hope he knows that in his bones.
