I kind of want to see these movies, but I don't want to pay for them or risk the wrath of the MPAA. I need to lower my standards for friendship so I can have someone I can borrow the dvds from.

@CaptenAwsomeXD I expect them to be terrible, but actually seeing them would give me more ammunition to make fun of them with.
Still... Bad movies. Are we talking Greedo shot first? Star Wars Prequels? Prequels edited for more Jar Jar? Or are we getting into Holiday Special territory?

When it comes to terms of awfulness, it's hard to make a substantial comparison. Twilight is what I compare awful things to, to explain how bad they are. It's like the Justin Bieber of the movie-world, but sparklier and full of religious propaganda. And like, way way worse.
I was raised on Harry Potter! But I detest Twilight.
Point: HP grew with its readers, so that when we hit puberty, the characters were as well, thus sufficiently taking care of needing something edgier and saucier.
Twilight begins with teen angst/romance and ends with. . . shit, so, there's no real growth there. It's more like high school: rather uncomfortable, mostly pointless, and filled with people you don't like or understand (but that's what you get with 2D characters).
