I prolly will miss datacrons as I level up. Can datacrons be picked up when you are maxed out retrospectively? Does it increase your stats permenantly?

When I was playing in the thanksgiving weekend beta at the part at 1:21 there was an invisible wall barrier at the end of the pipe that forced you to go under the broken pipe
