This is all very nice but one cannot really grasp the full potential of the Elgar Concerto until he heard and saw the 13 years old Stephen Waarts playing it on Youtube. He is playing it there with a small community orchestra, but what magic, what musical sensibility and brilliance! If he were standing with his feet a few inches above the ground I wouldn't have been more stunned than I was already! I cannot wait to hear him playing it now that he is 15.
